we did not close as promised, and then it was a nightmare. Once we moved in the quality of the home was subpar. The paint on the walls are coming off. The sidewalk was not finished with the concrete and there was a big hole in the front yard that did not have a cover on it from the manhole. There was a manhole cover in the backyard that was full of debris and trash. I have called several times to get this taken care of and was told that I needed to turn it over to warranty And then that takes forever for them to respond. I would not recommend these homes to anyone we’re stuck with it for now ...

The entire experience was trash from start to finish. Poor communication, wasted time, mixed messages, and zero follow through. I had to chase answers, repeat myself, and deal with unnecessary confusion that should never happen in a basic transaction. The only good part of this experience was Ana. She was helpful, responsive, and actually did her job. Without Ana, this would have been a complete failure. Everyone else dropped the ball. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my experience

The New Home Consultant had difficulty inputting information on day one. Document sent had incorrect purchase price initially. Was later informed that my carpeting color was no longer available and needed to be changed. Again, a delay in updating the color in the system due to a “glitch”. The beginning of my home-buying experience with Lennar was pleasant, but once closing dates were introduced, everything went downhill. Lennar repeatedly changed the closing date, which caused serious issues with my current landlord and created unnecessary stress. Communication throughout the process was extremely unprofessional. Not sure if I will be buying home from Lennar again

I had to backout before closing due to medical emergency costing lots of money and requiring me to keep emergency funds. I understand it was a contract but 6000$ earnest money is a big amount that I had to lose. Lennar sold that home to someone else fairly quickly. Lennar gave me option to use that earnest money within 6 months but not sure if I will be buying home from lennar again.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

Had the worst experience ever with the sales agent. Left multiple messages with several different offices to have a manager call me no one ever called me back. I would not recommend Lennar homes to anyone. I have never given any builder or any business a bad review this is the first time.

My experience was and still is a nightmare. I was looking at Townhomes because of a change in my life circumstances. I felt I could manage a Townhome on my own. I purchased a quick move in ready home. What seemed fantastic has turned into an adventure in placing 2 warranties, multiple maintenance requests and a general dismissal of my concerns. The price of the house was good, everything else was mediocre at best. Craftsmanship was sub par, many issues im still dealing with 2 month later. Brand new washer leaks, fridge is dented from whoever installed it, finish carpentry is poor. There are hidden fees they don’t tell you about, like the service area assessment fee which is 274 a quarter! Buyer beware! Do your homework.

The experience was not great . Lennar and the developer do not work together well and simply blame each other and do not correct problem. There is a drainage issue on the property that collects eater across several villas which is not corrected.

Lennar Sales Rep and Lennar Mortgage agent made this experience extremely horrid. From the start, sales rep wasn't knowledgeable about what she was selling and gave us false information. Gave us the bait and switch, telling us their mortgage company was going to give us a credit that we could use towards closing, buying down credit, or upgrades. Very disappointed with our experience buying a new home from Lennar. The construction quality and attention to detail were far below expectations for a new build. We found multiple issues that should have been caught before walkthroughs, including roof problems (exposed nails, poorly cut shingles around vents, and unsealed gaps). When asked if all roof vents were inspected, the construction manager said only the items shown in my photos were addressed—concerning for a builder of this size. Going back on this experience we should have walked away in the beginning. From our final walkthrough to 2 months later I have had someone from Lennar or their warranty people here almost every weekday putting bandaids on their poor quality homes. From issues that we brought up to the construction manager Ryan that we were promised to be fixed that were never fixed to cracked cabinets, crooked walls, bad lvp, plumbing leaks, bad landscaping that was supposed to be fixed and then only have fixed the list goes on and on. Horrible communications!

When you are looking at a home, they’ll tell you that $500 is needed as a down payment. But what they don’t tell you is hidden in their contract they have 90 days to refund the money. So to our surprise, after many unanswered, phone calls, and unanswered emails. We were given phone numbers that were disconnected and then finally they were sending the check to the wrong address. It was an address that we haven’t lived in in over two years, but I never gave them that so if you value your money, I would recommend going somewhere else to save the headache, frustration, and overall stres.
