Sub standard materials after 1 year I see everything going to hoa. All new town homes and every building siding is falling off. Right not kidding. Road at end of street is caving in. Take a look at sawgrass and see. We’re still waiting for our refrigerator and dishwasher to be repairs for one month now.

This has been a nightmare. I moved my whole life across country only to have non stop repairs, I have to fight for on a daily basis. The quality and workmanship is non existence. Cheap and shotty work. I have spent more money of my own to correct all my issues. I would not recommend this builder. You have to stay on everyone as warranty does not respond. I had to go hirer up and threaten social media just to get some repairs handled. All I do is cry anymore. I made a HUGE mistake buying a Lennar home.

So many issues to fix. They forced me to close on the unit even though it wasn’t ready! Lennar kept my money since November!! The closing took place in February! I still have open tickets that haven’t been resolved. Not happy. Plus I was promised pools, restaurant, gym. Nothing had been built !! No Pool for us to use and it’s summer already. Terrible. Of course we are pushing full Maintenance:

The quality of materials and workmanship is sub-standard at best. Lennar houses are slapped together in an assembly line manner. There are no changes allowed of any sort. Our salesman flat out lied throughout the process. Once we got close to closing we finally were able to meet the construction manager. She has no knowledge of construction. She just knows what she's told by her bosses. There are so many issues to be fixed of which they rely on the warranty dept. Lennar has slight improvement in overall quality. However, it's still not meet customer's satisfaction. Responsiveness and coordination are still a big issues. Property orientation and closing arrangements are very confusing and not considering customer's need. Time response is extremely slow and sometimes not even replying customer's questions.

I felt rushed to move in, so that Lennar can show a completed sale despite the home was rushed. The home also had materials and parts removed to finish other homes in the series and when the contractors replaced parts back the quality control was compromised with re installation. Should have informed my lawyer to get involved with write contingencies before I sign off the walk thru. Felt like things were purposely hidden. should have never signed off in good faith things would be addressed. felt duped and lied too. Nightmare with Lennar

I would never in my life recommend buying a home with Lennar to my worst enemy. From the sales rep, Orin, being so uniformative and having horrible communication. I actually lost out on the same house I purchased that couldve been $20,000 less but in the middle of signing and trying to pay earnest money Orin stopped responding and we lost the house. I've never even met the "man" in person. We were never told about the ONLY 20ft of grass and found out on our final walk through with no option to add more. It is obvious that Lennar is rushing to close their units and get the payment as soon as possible. Most condos are released with many deficiencies. At first the builder crew was responsive in attending some major finishing issues but after 3 months since closing they dont even answer calls or reply to messages. Very disappointing

Too many issue overlooked. I don’t really know why they have a construction manager if that person is not going to supervise. Here is the list of some of the issues we had the first 2-4 weeks after closing. Gas leak, broken septic tank, electrical issues, Dishwasher was broken during installation (it leaks) really poor drywall finish where you see all joints, poor workmanship for all finishes. Honestly this does NOT feel like a new home. It’s been a headache from day one. In my opinion Lennar is like a fast food restaurant. I will never recommend lennar!!!!!

I would advise people look to other builders. Lennar is a joke, the salesman destroyed any hope I had and refused to meet us. When we closed I basically demanded he not show up to hand us our keys. The construction manager is nice as hell and very responsible but always running around having to put out fires from the crappy work these subcontractors do! If you see a Lennar sign… keep driving! Don’t stop and look and end up loving the area and home… because dealing with these clowns is not worth it.

I closed on my home in Feb 2023. Prior to closing, I found items in one of the closets. This is a new build, no one should have left anything in one of my closets! A few weeks later, I had a sewer backup in my half bath that saturated half of my livingroom. The issue was baby wipes that were flushed. When I took photos of the items in my closet, there was a pack of baby wipes with the items. This happened over a month ago and I'm STILL trying to get this situation taken care of. Total nightmare dealing with Lennar!

The whole experience with Lennar has been a nightmare. Dealing with the construction manager and his boss was a horrible experience. On the first walk through we used 2 rolls of blue tape for the discrepancies. Then things went downhill from there! The tile was messed up in both bathrooms shower areas, with a long list of other issues. Then 10 days later, I went back to do the walk through to close on the house and there had not been 1 thing done to correct the issues. The first wind storm the shingles are flying off the roof. The refrigerator that came with the house has a box cutter gash down the handle two big scratches on the left side on the right side. It doesn’t make ice and it sounds like it’s a car parked outside of my house all night. Lenar says they are not responsible and Frigidaire says they’re not responsible. The house came with ring security system. All of it installed upside down on every door. The window coverings put up very poorly. Someone can see in my bathroom window easily. The garage door has a dent and it does not lock.Sad

New buyer experience

During our closing day we walked in on painters touching up spots. The new home experience was completely taken away from us and nothing was done to make it more memorable. Most recently, as we started planing our basement work to finish our basement we realized that the water heater was placed just in a random spot that takes away square footage from the future bedroom. The reps told me because the house came with an unfinished basement the water heater can get placed wherever . It would be nice to have the water heater moved or be compensated for losing square footage.

Lennar needs to better responding to issues post move in. Person in charge of reviewing work completed by the trades need additional training. Many issues that were to be resolved after our move in are still not addressed. Have notified people in the front office, two guys that worked with the walk through and have submitted on line requests.

Our overall experience was very disappointing. The contractors did very sloppy work. From the paint droppings all over the floor, to uneven handles on every kitchen cabinet, every outlet and switch cover crooked, broken pavers around pool. Uneven lawn with dead sod, irrigation system not approved by HOA. Uneven seam on granite counter top and the cheapest home appliances they could find. Lennar warranty service has only addressed 25% of our complaints and others work orders have been ignored.

Buyer beware of what you are getting into with Lennar at Lorraine Lakes. Poor communication from Bobbi the sales agent, a terrible experience with Fernando the "construction manager" and deception from both individuals when it came to the closing issues on our new $700k+ home.
