Lennar released property to me as a purchaser with grading and drainage issues. Part of the property is a retention wall, house is built on a slope. During the construction, after hurricane Ian sink holes appeared on the property. In the next couple of visits, I expressed my concern with the stability of the land, but construction engineer said that Lennar will do it right. In good faith, I trusted that the builder have good reputation and will not allow unsolved problems before passing the property to the purchaser. Lennar is horrible. Offered an outrageous interest rate. Had us do a walkthrough when the house was nowhere close to being ready. Rude and unaccommodating staff. Extremely stressful and disappointing experience.

We identified multiple issues throughout the process of the build, yet they were not rectified. Now we are stuck with a large inconvenience as these things still need to be fixed and the emotional stress of not being able to fully move into our new house. We bought our first home in SC with DH Horton and thought they needed to improve their craftsmanship, but Lennar has them beat two fold!! It was a negative experience commencing with the home orientations == closing had to be pushed back because of the inadequacy in the non-completion and sloppiness in construction, overlooking details we asked to be fixed and just plain ignoring before closing! My experience was less than satisfying. At least I made it through the absolute train wreck from start to my 5 hour cluster of a closing experience and thought I could live happily in my home. But, NO!! Lennar didn't schedule a final inspection for the loan and out of the blue nearly 2 months after I close I find out they are threatening legal against me for them not scheduling an inspection??? This is beyond ridiculous!!

Was really excited to buy my first home and everything seemed great at the beginning. That was about the only good experience. From the buying experience, to the build, to the close, everything was a nightmare and I would never recommend Lennar to my worst enemy. The title office called me as I was on the way to close telling me I owed more money, literally as I was driving there after being told multiple times I owed nothing more. The worst experience of my life buying home from Lennar. Bad salesman from start to finish with little to no help , construction manager cheating and treat you like a kid, paint finish crack and final walk have to delay because no one did it from the first walk , after they touch up move in the paint dry and show crack again leaving the buyer stuck . Never never buy from Lennar

I was hoping for this new home build to be a great experience, but unfortunately every aspect of this process was terrible. From the sales team, to the financing, to the quality of work, to the final inspections my wife and I were extremely dissatisfied. During the financing process Lennars rates were higher than others and they used scare tactics such as “you will not get your keys after closing if you do not use Lennar Lending”. First weekend we moved in the builder supplied en-suite washer leaked causing water damage that was exacerbated by the fact that their customer service rep doesn’t check messages after hours or on weekends. The floor got ripped up by the water remediation company and a month later has not been repaired. Lennar does not care about you after you close. Horrible company.

My new home was delivered unfinished. No follow-up on when things will get fixed. To name a few issues of MANY, my kitchen is unfinished, closet doors were not painted correctly, all doors are damaged, concrete floors in porch and patio are ruined, and after closing, we found out there is no infrastructure for the internet (we live in a "connected ultra wifi community."

Please do not EVER purchase a home with Lennar, the customer service is awful. They do no reply to request. The home are rushed and have so many errors. The materials are cheap and the quality of the home is poor. Im looking to sale my home ASAP and build elsewhere with another builder.

Absolute horrible experience from beginning with our sales person to the very end. They have no ethics and do not follow true building codes. Sakes people tell you lies, the floor plan is 3rd grade pictures, craftsmanship of the house is beyond low grade, project managers aren’t even licensed builders which is why so many issues occur. No follow up from top to bottom. I closed in September and have 3 page punch list that has taken forever. I’ve had to have outside vendors come in. 48 outlets on 2 breakers isn’t even electrical code despite them trying to convince you it is. I can go on ...

The home was poorly finished. Lennar massively delayed completion, cut corners on construction quality to try to force completion, and skimped on promised appliances and fixtures. I am repeat buyer from Lennar, but my experience was so poor this time that I will not buy another home from Lennar and advice friends against it as well.

Overall the experience was terrible. Our Lennar salesman never answered her phone. Always rude when we finally got ahold of her she had no idea what was going on. House looks like it was built by a toddler. No attention to details, paint everywhere on outlet covers, my brand new carpet, windows all have paint on them. House was suppose to be cleaned before closing that was never done. Nobody answers the phone to get anything taken care of.

Lennar uses unskilled contractors and cheap materials, contractors and subcontractors don’t know what they’re doing and have this “I don’t care” attitude. Getting anything done or fixed or repaired is extremely difficult and have to resort to escalating to Lennar Head Office. Construction managers and customer service reps all make big promise, trying to get you to close sooner. As soon as you Close on your house, game over, Lennar won’t touch or repair anything. I have owned several homes in my lifetime. Some new builds and some resales. NEVER have had such a terrible experience as with this home. When I wasn’t being ignored; I was being lied to. I have done my best to patiently work through the Lennar process but at this point I am all out of nice.

Our experience with Lennar builders was bad from start to finish. We were pressured into a walk-thru before the house was completed. This resulted in additional pressure to close before the end of the month and before fixes were complete. We were told during the walk-thru that we would be supplied touch-up paint, which we didn't receive. We have asked several times for specific color names that were used and still have not received. From sales to closing an absolute HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Our sales person Matt was MIA most of the time. Our house was not ready for closing but expected us to close anyway. All screens were bent, painting and caulking was horrific. We have a mice problem, front doors don't lock. garage door dented. Because we sold our other home they had us over a barrel cuz we needed to move in. The house was dirty. Their follow up in every department was atrocious and still is.
