Our house is incomplete and has many workmanships problems. Very poor quality, Tiles needing to be replaced, Cupboard doors and drawers missing, Lennar took ours and gave them to someone else. Been here going on 2 months still no drawers or doors. I would not buy another Lennar home. Quality of material is cheap and needing to stay home daily so people can come to fix things. Construction manager never calls with updates on anything, doesn't even answer his phone. Lennar is good at selling homes, but they are pathetic on building houses. I have given you the marks that you deserve and wish we would not have bought a Lennar home. I would and will tell others to avoid any Lennar built homes and pictures of everything that was and mostly still is wrong and will share them with anyone that was interested in seeing them. I asked to be contacted by someone from corporate not in this little loop in Florida and they also have no time for me. Don't buy a Lennar home unless you want FRUSTRATION. By the way we have a cracked door on our pantry from the screws in it. They will not replace the door they are going to fix it I was told. I know writing this I will get no answers from Lennar. Bottom line people they are great at selling, but they do a very POOR JOB Building them! ... Más

We purchased a home a few months ago. With some items not finished, but we could longer be in rental so we’re in a bad situation after our house sat for about 3-4 months with minimal to no work done. We closed 3 months late. We still are living in a house with unfinished items and poor quality workmanship. Then we are constantly flat out lied to through out the entire build process and now trying to get warranty issues addressed. My tubs all have rust rings in them and had them at time of closing. My house wasn’t even cleaned. Windows have paint on them, Mia stains on soffit, concrete work is stained and honestly finished at a bad quality. The product you handed over to me and many people I know on my street is downright awful. You should honestly be ashamed of yourselves and your management and anyone who is a lennar employee. Not only will I never buy another lennar home I will always warn people and I will tell everyone about my experience with your company and how truly awful this experience was and badly built this house is. ... A lot of quality issues!!! Still not fixed!!!! From sheet rock, paint, wrong doors thru out home! Doors will not close property! Drainage issues! Fixtures falling off wall!!! Closing changed a number of times.

We went with Lennar because we had a great experience in purchasing our last home in SCAL. It was the exact opposite in NV. Yes I get it, we had a rough state of affairs in the country in the past 2 years but the builder should not sacrifice the quality of homes that they produce. Finished product was very disappointing. Felt that Lennar was just interested in making money, build as many homes as fast as they can, sacrificing the quality of homes they’re building. From financing, to getting house keys to customer care was just a bad experience for us.

Lennar Home Mortgage was a waist of my time! Dealing with the incompetence with the loan officer there made the entire process stressful!!

Shotty workmanship - looks like they let drunk people install in my house. Total lack of accountability to resolve issues Excuse after excuse about poor quality Unethical practices including some that are illegal Buy from another builder in the Vegas market. Lennar is building houses quickly and doesn't care about anything but getting your money. Moved in 2 months ago and still dealing with over 35 issues from move in.

Deceptive sales office, poor quality, unresponsive, avoid.

There was absolutely nothing good about the experience with Lennar. Don’t be fooled by having everything from your lender to you insurance under one roof. They are completely inept and unprofessional. Once we moved in we found the quality underwhelming. From crooked windows that make our custom blinds look like crap to the sprinkling system that won’t shut off and or leaks. This experience was horrible and I would never ever recommend Lennar builders.

Worst experience ever. From purchase to resolving issues

This experience was not one I would recommend. After all the trials and tribulations I still had work being done on my home the day I settled and it was like pulling teeth to correct what was identified was wrong. Not from just me but also my paid professional inspector. My upstairs primary bedroom makes popping noises as we walk across the “brand new floor” as does the steps. Feels like I’m in a old home. The workmanship is terrible. The walls are not straight and so are the ceilings. If I could attach photos I would. My guest bathroom had a crack in the tub, the baseboards are not completely covered. Awful I moved two months ago and bathrooms did not have towels racks I notified the people in charge and a month later still waiting.

It was very poor and difficult to get answers until the deadline, I felt like I was bothering them when I didn’t understand something.

From the beginning we have had nothing but problems, and the problems just continue. The sales process was the only part that was smooth. Throughout the build process we were continually lied to, mislead, and given empty promises. We had to fight to get things that were promised during the sales pitch. The construction manager regularly gave us the wrong information and just blatantly lied about updates and progress of certain things. The quality of the trades is WAY below substandard and unacceptable. The overall quality of our home is embarrassing. There was no accountability from Lennar on the work being done. Everything was slopped together as quickly as it could be and just absolutely no regard for how the finished product looks. Every possible corner was cut and the unskilled subcontractors performed with just a blatant disregard to details. When the quality of the workmanship was brought up it was met more lies and misinformation. In some cases, they agreed to address it but never followed through. And when it was brought up again as soon as a week later they acted like they have no idea what I was talking about. Every single bit of my new home has a problem and issue. The whole neighborhood has major issues. Since we have moved in, its been nothing but rework, and in most cases the results of rework is even worse than the original issue. They send the same unskilled laborers to “fix” the junk work they did originally. And to no surprise, the work is junk again. There are still outstanding issues from prior to closing that have not been mitigated, and no one wants to listen or address it. The problems range from major (structural/framing, plumbing, exterior siding and brick, concrete) to minor (paint, trim, cabinets, mailbox), it is literally everything in and pertaining to the home. Even the finishings are absolutely terrible. My 5 yr old could have produced a better product. Even at closing, Lennar found a way to screw everything up. The interest rate wasn’t locked in when it should have been, the down payment in the closing paper work was wrong and even the hoa dues built in is wrong. When we questioned the wrong down payment amount in the closing docs, the response was “we will just wire you back the difference.” This company is a joke! Do not waste your money!! Lennar used pressure sales techniques - it was clear very early on in the process that it was about moving product for them - they cared very little about whether the buyer was having a positive experience. they approached each piece of the buying process as " do it now or we will just replace you with the next buyer" at one point they sent over a 45 pg document at 11;30pm on a Sunday night and expected it signed by 9am the next morning - classless, ruthless & purely profit motivated

Lennar was NOT flexible and at times rude regarding reasonable requests. Lennar consistently switched positioned on construction issues that had been discussed and presumed resolved. We would recommend perspective Buyers avoid Lennar at this time. We would be happy to discuss our experiences.

I would love to, but I do not have the time being that I am constantly repairing the pitiful house that Lennar has built.

We have had problems from day 1. Some to be expected, some not. Immediately upon move in, we found foundation issues, painting that needed to be done, light fixtures that fell out of the ceiling, broken air vent that shouldn't have been installed, broken dishwasher, new cabinetry cracked, broken tiles, shower doors with no weather stripping, front door you can see right outside, not installed properly, garage double door bending in half, missing parts/hardware. Broken sprinkler outside, Most recently just this weekend, we lost AC. Just not what we expected in a brand new home. I have a list that just never seems to be addressed, waiting for workers to come out. ... Más

I’m sorry I don’t have nothing great to say about Lennar I’m really disappointed with the service after I sign for the house

If you want a Brand new house that you have to fix, buy a Lennar Home. Outside of the lack of craftsmanship throughout the home and garage, there was very little oversight on the contractors during the building process. We would be told that certain things were being done on the home and then find out that nothing had been worked on in weeks. Our home sat for 12 weeks during the inspection process and was failing inspection due to the issues that were there from the initial inspection. Lennar told us that it was making progress until we saw the actual inspection documents that showed the negligence in the build. There is such a lack of oversight and a lack of caring from Lennar because in this housing climate, they can always find another buyer. Phone calls and text messages would just be ignored and then the construction managers would act surprised when the concerns that were brought up became issues towards the end. We have been in our “new fixer-upper” now for over a month and the quality of work is awful. The finishes from painting to actual framework look as if I would have done them myself. Windows that don’t latch, doors that don’t shut correctly, siding that is missing leaving the home exposed, walls where you can see where they were patched, paint that doesn’t match, raw wood exposed, yard that wasn’t leveled, and bowed walls on the third floor (something we brought up prior to the inspection phase) are just some of the issues. If you are buying a Lennar home, expect to put in an extra $10,000-$20,000 after the fact just because they don’t want to do it right the first time and they hope that you get tired of calling them out. They beat you into submission purely by ignoring or delaying their response by weeks at a time. Buying the home based on layout was easy as they look great. Watching them build the home was a nightmare that made me second guess every penny that we spent on the home. We will keep our fingers crossed. ... Más

Our experience with Lennar was horrible. The quality of our home is terrible and our construction manager, Eric, didn't care about doing his job. He lied and dismissed our concerns. We failed our framing inspection multiple times due to Eric not doing his job. We had a 3rd party inspector come out and pointed out things that were wrong with our framing. Multiple times Eric lied to us saying everything in our report was fixed, just for us to find out it wasn't. On our pre close walk through he didn't want to hear our concerns about all the issues and we had to make him do the blue tape walk through. On the day of close nothing from our check list was completed. He said straight to our face, I have 20 homes, what do you want from me. Our home was 4 different colors due to them not being able to match paint during touch-up. Eric's response, it is what it is. We went over his head to his boss and the next day we had area reps, the paint company owner and the paint manufacturer at our home saying something was messed up and they needed to repaint. Eric made this whole situation a nightmare. The quality of our home is so bad... It is built like a $100,000 home, not the price they charged us, just short of 1 million. The caulking job through out the house is a joke, you can see every drywall seems, drywall patches are super noticable. They used the cheapest paint and materials. They used the cheapest contractors and it shows. The funny part is when we called them out on the lies and the dishonest communication Eric and our sales rep Gabe tried to cancel our contact because we were being unreasonable. You know asking them to be honest and communicate with us. On close we had them create an expectation list for a ton of items that should of been caught by Eric... But again he didn't care. We are 2 months past close and we have to email them every day to get them to honor their promise. Still everything isn't fixed. We had a great experience with Lennar up until the end. But 2 days before close they sent us an updated survey showing that 60% of our lot was unusable due to easements and buffers. It turns out that had been planned prior to us ever going under contract but was never disclosed. They essentially backed us into closing by waiting until we’d already sold our other home to tell us this. They didn’t sod half of our yard and left construction debris in it. I would NEVER do business with them again. Highly deceptive. Their employees we interacted with along the way on the ground level were good (the foreman managing the project), but ultimately their hands were tied by the powers that be. First was told that its was not a special tax district and it is. Quality of build is not good and have to have customer service fix things after the fact. Waived escrow for property tax and now Lennar is going back on the contract…Worst experience ever. I wish i never bought the home

The sale was promoted as Lennar was top quality. We had no need for upgrades because quality was their focus. That was not correct. Workmanship was sloppy, and response from the site managers is slow or unresponsive. They “hear” us, but do nothing.

Lennar uses the lowest quality materials available. The granite counters were not sealed properly so stains appear from the slightest drop of water. The stove top had been repaired and on initial usage a large chip appeared. The washer and dryer are the cheapest GE has. The dishwasher stopped working after 4 runs and had to be reset. The irrigation system was a disaster, watering the neighbors yard. Large patches of grass were dead and we have had to do replace the grass.. The porch and back stoop were rough and filthy. The garage floor was filthy. The fridge was filthy. Every shelf and drawer had to be removed and cleaned. The bathrooms are disgusting. Builders grade tp holder and towel bar. No hand towel bar. The bathtub is tiny and dangerously slick. The house cleaning crew is worthless. The construction supervisor made so many promises that were unfulfilled. The house is still incomplete 2 months after closing. It is costing us a small fortune to make the house barely livable. Over 30 issues so far. The sales woman only cares about the sale. Lennar Mortgage only cares about getting a loan that they sell off after closing. There is no pride in anything that Lennar touches. There were many signs along the way warning us not to close on the house. We did not heed the warnings and now have to deal with an incomplete, fixer-upper brand new house. ... Más
