Lennar - Low quality materials used and left the finishing work undone

Low quality materials used and left the finishing work undone and promised to be taken care of at time of closing but later they don't care. Keep putting work orders and they ask for phone appointments and virtual appointments but work not done and they close the tickets without completing it. Even the area manager don't respond to email sent. Really disappointed.

The whole lennar process is designed to optimize their company’s benefit at the expense of the customer. They have rules / restrictions / policies which make the entire experience awful for owners (this includes home buying, inspections, closing, lennar mortgage, and warranty). I will not buy another lennar home.

please read reviews prior to purchasing from this builder. They are not off. I wish I had. my comments are all based off things I experienced and NOT what I saw on a review. I didn't see a review until the closing and then realized I was experiencing just what was being described from multiple reviews online

The house cost me nearly $1.1 million and has been nothing but problems. First, the closing was a nightmare due to multiple errors made by the builder whose closing department couldn't seem to find the correct corporate resolution showing that the subsidiary conveying title actually owned the property. Then about an hour or two after the closing ended and I had received the key, I received a phone call from the builder that said it can't confirm that it received the funds so I can't enter the house until after the weekend. Our closing was delayed 3 months. Fair, I understand building materials and labor have dried up. The day after we move in, our master bathroom’s toilet flooded due to contractors having put waste in the plumbing. The flooding ruined our entire first floor and a lot of personal property. Let me start by saying from the time I've dealt with the sales team all the way through to the Customer Care Team was a horrific experience. I bought my home in July 2021 and we are now in November 2021 and the defects in my brand new home have still not been completed. my bathroom shower pan was defected and it took 4 weeksand attempts with Lennar and Stewart tiling to completed the reinstallation on my shower pan. the time were poorly affixed after installing a new shower pan. I know now I would never hire anyone from Stewart Tiling or purchase a new home from Lennar. I really have to say ...

Ensure you get your independent inspection along the way and have Lennar fix it prior to closing. Post closing resolution is incredibly slow. I'm still waiting for things to be fixed that were identified at closing and 4months later still waiting.

The Lennar purchasing experience has been the worst purchasing experience of my life. I have been buying homes, cars and other big purchases for the last 43 years and the Lennar purchasing experience has been the worst. The willingness of Lennar mortgage to ignore signed agreements for locking in the rate and charge a full percentage point over and above the lock-in rate, in addition to penalizing us with more than $3,000 for the higher rate, were just a few of the glaring issues.
