Rushed new build

If Lennar had spent just 1 or 2 more weeks rather than rush to close the home before the end of their fiscal quarter and month, the home would have been in a better quality. Same issue with everybody in the neighborhood. Lennar definitely preyed on the goodwill and naivete of first time home buyers and dangled the 1 year "bumper to bumper" warranty to get their inventory sold. First time home buyers beware! I would not recommend a Lennar/Village Builder new build to anyone. Thankfully, the issues are fixed one by one and the home is in great shape now.

Spacious homes, but disappointing build quality

Lennar homes offer a lot of space, and the floor plans are genuinely impressive — that's the main reason we chose them. However, the quality of materials used falls well short of what you'd expect for the price. Since moving in, we've dealt with paint chipping in multiple areas and doors that rattle/shake in their frames. We've called their warranty/service team several times about these issues, but the follow-through has been lacking — problems persist despite repeated requests for repairs.
