The whole home buying was straightforward and the Lennar employees were knowledgable and responsive to questions and concerns. My family and friends have been "wowed" by my new home and community.

Throughout the process there were clear communications and updates which were vital as we lived a days drive away. All staff performed their roles in an open way. I would compliment all concerned.

Lennar builds a quality home with many upgrades standard in the base model.

Our experience with the builder has been very good, in general. I do feel that the lot should have been cleared of brush that was left after the construction. I also feel that dead branches and trees should have been removed by the builder. Even so I would recommend Lennar because I believe the house to be of quality construction. However, I would not advise using the mortgage and title companies. We had poor experiences with both.

With this being our second home but our first time building we couldn't have asked for a much smoother process. We were provided updates throughout the entire building process from the ground breaking, framing, tradesmen and finally the finished product. With everything being provided and the floor plans fitting our family needs moving in was a breeze. If you want new at a reasonable price go with Lennar.

The entire process was very manageable. Everyone involved was very friendly and caring.

Coming from a custom built home, you have to adjust your expectations. Townhouse is well constructed and very comfortable but fine craftsmanship not a strength. Still, we love it.

It was a pleasure dealing with the Lennar Sales Consultant and the Supervisor of construction. Both Lennar employees guided me through the purchase with ease and years of experience/knowledge. Lennar builds a well-constructed home and stands by their product. Any question I had during the purchasing process was answered quickly. Any questions/concerns I had after moving in were solved in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Lennar as your home builder.

Warranty is difficult to get action on

Customer care guy is nice but not totally knowledgeable about house. ie: said fireplace had a blower (it does not ), said He would take care of dirty windows on outside ( did not ), yard light not working ( He said you have to wait a few minutes ( not true, there is an inside switch that a neighbor told me about, still not working)

Able to choose from several homes already built, but with differing features, so not all the same. Home purchase was very quick and easy. However, short-term mortgage application was full of forms, after forms, after forms to be filled out. Due to long-distance purchase, the on-line docu-sign process was a bit cumbersome and frustrating at times. Overall, purchase went very quick and extremely satisfied with our new home.

We have had an array of problems, however, Lennar has made every effort to take care of them in an expeditious manner. Worst of all was the uncapped drain pipe in our primary bath wall. After about three weeks, we saw water across our kitchen floor - not a good sign. Lennar came right out and began investigating. It wasn't until the plumber cut out the drywall in our kitchen island and the pantry wall that he discovered the missing cap. It was repaired immediately but scheduling the cleanup repairs has taken about three weeks. Today, we have a partial new floor and drywall finished; we are just waiting on the trim repairs. Overall, Lennar has been responsive and the customer care representative has been active with ALL of our repairs so that is why they still earn 4-stars! ... Más

The people I have worked with are wonderful and very helpful. They are available to answer my questions. I am, generally, happy with the features offered in my home, however, the drywall, painting and trim finishes are requiring follow up. That said, I have only been in my home for about four months. It was difficult to pick up everything on the walk through…I was not permitted to bring someone/advocate with me.

Home buying experience went smoothly. Jaqueline was very responsive to our questions and concerns. Dave was very responsive with remedying 'punch list' items. We still have issues with our sod though and am awaiting a resolution. As a lifelong plumbing engineer I am particularly sensitive to the quality of plumbing fixtures and feel that the installed fixtures could have been of higher quality. An issue that I find annoying is the amount of time it takes hot water to get to the faucets. (35 seconds for the kitchen faucet). Other than these issues we are very happy with our new home.

It seems like every 30 seconds you are getting a msg or someone is Texting you about some phase of insurance, settlement, HOA, mortgage or some other phase of buying....respond to one and get double back without really knowing who or where they fit in the scheme. Last walk thru is a real joy also....moves way toooooo fast

My home is lovely and so far I am happy that I moved here. It has been very difficult getting settled, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I was disappointed because we had and misunderstanding about the elevation of the house. it was probably more my fault but I still wish it looked differently. The only problem we’ve encountered so far is getting small things fixed that are troublesome. I’m still happy that I moved to Gettysburg . And I would do it again.

Opt for the upgraded interior paint if its offered as a roll on style paint the spray paint job is horrible and there's overspray everywhere. Look at the baseboards, window sills and door trim on your walk thru - the cleaning crew misses them every time in every room; they're covered in plaster dust... Make sure your laminate floor is quiet, no crackling or popping. Walk every room for squeaking floors and stairs - get commitment for repairs. All of your "quality concerns" are going to be handled after the fact by customer service...make sure you have their number and email addresses before they leave your walk thru - other wise it may be a few weeks before you hear from someone again. ... Home buying experience was challenging. Bait and switch was a tactic employed by sales manager at our site. In the end we purchased a house with most of options we desired. We settled much earlier than planned and made things stressful. Comments made by sales manager (not site sales rep) were unprofessional and insulting. We are happy with our home - but…

I've been a successful sales person most of my life. My success came from listening to my customers. Lennar's sales force doesn't listen, they give orders. Home inspection is at this time and date be there. Settlement will be at such and such time be there. The times I received didn't work for us. It required two week argument to move them forward 90 minutes. I don't like an ultimatum, Lennar lives by them.

The only thing that kept the overall home buying experience from being lower than 3 stars was the terrific attitude, approach & demeanor of the salesperson Noreta. She was truly a blessing to work with. It is probably a bit too early to rate the experience as we are just 2 months in and still trying to settle some workmanship issues. However, this is the third home we've built (First with Lennar) and we have more issues in this home than the previous two combined. There are numerous gouges in trim wood work, flaws in vinyl siding, unfinished paint trim, gouges in kitchen cabinet shelves, missing USB receptacles and several other deficiencies. While our list of deficiencies is being addressed our trust that these will all be taken care remains low as how these matters could be accepted in the first place is not easily understood by us. In addition to those issues we decided to use Lennar Title Co., Mortgage and Insurance partly because of seller incentive but also thinking it would provide a more seamless flow. Nothing could be further from the truth! Chaotic, error prone and not seamless. Yes, it all worked out in the end but not without irritation & annoyance. Add to that the fact a manager from Lennar Mortgage called us on a Sunday while I was driving to talk about why we rated our mortgage experience so low. I told him a little bit but suggested he call back the next day after I reviewed my notes and was home. I called him later that evening & left voicemail with more detail. Never heard from him again. We remain hopeful that our experience will be transformed to a more positive one in the ensuing months as the issues are addressed. ... Más

I’m a little disappointed that the model home was sold as is. The house has definitely settled after being built and not attended to for the settling. There is nails starting to come through that was said nothing could be done. Treat the model home like a newly built home. The home had minor touch ups and was done very poorly. The garage that was redone after sale due to being the office was put up very fast and poorly. We waited 3 months for it to be finished and to see the result was very upsetting. I was honestly very surprised to see the touch ups so poorly done. The paint along the floor boards was poorly done and will need to eventually be fixed. I would think the model home you would take more pride in seeing its the home you show to prospects in hopes they decide to build. ... Más
