I have had a great experience from start to finish with LENNAR. All my questions were answered promptly. I was always informed as updates came in. Friendly faces and great. Customer service was above average.

The whole process of buying a house from lennar was great. From the agent we meet to the whole team that was in the process of getting the house. Everyone was very helpful and friendly awesome experience. Thanks to lennar and the Team

Our home is absolutely beautiful, and we love it. The price and interest rate were great!!!! Also, the insurance rate was outstanding. The salesman was kind and considerate, never pushy. I should have paid better attention in the walkthroughs. However, every item was rectified. There is natural light in every room, and again, I love this house. Now for the negative: The dishwasher is of the lowest quality. I plan to replace it in the near future. I would change the attic access in the hall to the garage if I could. I would also change the electric panel from the outside to the garage. I am happy !!!! ... Más

I had a great experience with Danny, Jamie, and Joel! They have been very responsive when I needed something. There were a few things that were wrong when it was built, but Lennar was quick to fix them.

Lennar has a GREAT team that focus's on the costumer's needs and issues. All of my issues (except one) have been corrected. the one is the closure of the front entrance. To which I am currently in communication with your team.

The building manager, Noe, for our area in Corpus Christi has been phenomenal since we did our walk through. He has gone out of his way multiple times to see if we needed help with anything or just checking in to see how our home is doing. Any issue I have brought up was immediately addressed and corrected. He makes sure the entire area stays as clean as possible even though our entire area is under construction. He has been very professional.

Loan officer was great and made things simple, however, person collecting required items often couldn’t find items or asked for them 3-4X. Final walkthroughs were half done, the workers were overbooked so they had others step in who had no clue what was going on. Was told the home would be cleaned up by the time we picked up our keys and it was still dirty in every single room and outside. Trash, left over construction parts, dirt, paint, etc. when we complained we were told since we had the keys there was nothing they could do. nearly 2 months later still no grass and our fence is left incomplete due to this. ... After moving in is when we experienced problems. i.e. doors that didn't shut properly, tiles in the master bath came loose and were mushy, the dishwasher didn't work when we tried it the first time, had to replace the garbage disposal, and the grout work was sloppy.

Great value for paid price.

We love our new home. It is very comfortable and has everything we need for my whole family.

Enjoying the new house. No issues with the house so far. No contact from the sales team after signing papers. They disappeared. Wish they gave more information about building materials such as type of paint and flooring. Will be tough to match when fixing touch ups.

I recently had my home built by Lennar, and I would describe their workmanship as average. The construction was completed on time, and the overall design met our expectations. However, we noticed some minor issues with the finishing details and quality of materials used. While nothing was a dealbreaker, we did have to follow up on a few items that required additional attention. Lennar's customer service was responsive and addressed our concerns, but we felt the initial craftsmanship could have been more thorough. Im happy with the price of the house but wish lennar gave the buyer options for their house. Having kids the flat white paint is terrible if you get a wet rag it takes the paint off. Also why not include a garage opener for the garage door. On top of that how much harder would it be to just paint the garage if you are painting the whole house just paint the garage too. Also if you are going to lay sod why not just make sure all of the lot has sod and not just leave half of the backyards with dirt. Or for me have 1/4 of the front yard with a pile of sand. Another thing why only paint the trim on the front of the house white and not do it the sides and the backyard. These houses are built with 1 goal and it shows build as many as possible and sell them fast with quality of work as secondary. Just drive down the street and you can see shingles already missing from houses that were just built this year. But drive in other neighborhoods in Portland and their shingles are just fine. Some other issues ive had with this house in the first month of me living here are week 1 AC went out over the weekend and I got told sorry there is nothing we can do until monday. So myself and my pregnant wife didn’t have ac that weekend. Last week we noticed our garage had a steady stream or water coming from the ceiling turns out the builder put a nail through the water line. They fixed the leak pretty quick but still waiting for the insulation and drywall to get replaced. Lennar in my opinion is the most affordable housing in the area, but keep in mind customer satisfaction does not mean much to them they just care about selling a house and getting the next one sold. ... Putting in the offer and initial approval was great and super helpful and easy. We were moving in from out of state, we HAD to close the day we flew in, technical issues made that difficult, the mortgage company waited HOURS before deciding wet signatures were okay. It took 3 days and 3 different people to figure out why we didn't have hit water, the cutouts for our washing machine weren't done and it's been one thing after another since. Now we have a leak in our bathroom and got stood up last night. The construction manager has zero clue what she is doing. I think I know more about construction than she does. I like my neighborhood, the house layout but the craftsmanship and customer service and response times could use some work. At this moment I wouldn't buy a Lennar Home again. ... Más

Their biggest problem is no quality control, no management to oversee overall construction. No responsible leadership, of so many beginners in all of the labor trades. Lots of Lannar money being wasted due to no management of the many different trades.

Definitely stay on their behind if you want things done...

Our initial contact with Lennar salesperson, Crystal began well. We provided Crystal what we were looking for and we were interested in the house. She provided us with the cost of the house and an interest rate of 3.99%, which was an offer by Lennar. As we went through the loan process, I was expecting that rate, knowing my excellent credit rating. I discovered it was not the case. My Loan Officer, Abraham & Senior Loan Officer, Celia, along with me providing all documents requested made this process quick & easy. Also, they replied quickly to any questions I had. Lennar Title, Gwinn was also a great help and I felt she helped me with something that was outside her control. I believe I was not getting the 3.99 % interest rate because sales did not inform the the loan officer. Still no explanation from Crystal when asked. Probably the highlight in buying a Lennar Home. Returning to the sales & customer service during walk-through (I was given two walk-through, but was not afforded a 3rd before closing). I had a third party inspector go through the house and he compiled a list of issues, which I submitted with the Lennar employee. During my walk first walk-through the kitchen countertop was broken and I was unable to check things in the kitchen. The house was a dirty; windows were not cleaned, dust all over the floor, and I discovered I was quality control for Lennar. What poor first showing for a home I was suppose to close on the next day. The garage door could not open either and the garage floor was a mess! Lennar pushed my closing date about a week to fix the few items including the broken countertop in the kitchen. A second walk through was scheduled. This time a different Lennar employee and construction manager showed up for the walk through. I discovered the house was still messy and the kitchen countertops were different colors. Now a third closing date was now scheduled, due again to the counter tops. I requested the counter top by the refrigerator appliance be cut to industry standard 1/4”, just like countertop next to stove. The past counter tops had a 2” over hang. As the third closing date was approaching, I checked to see if the countertop was all one color, which it was but the overhang was 1 1/2”. Based on the model home, a neighbors kitchen countertop, and industry standards the countertop next to an appliance is 1/4”. I requested the countertop to be fixed with those specifications. I was told via text on the final closing day from Crystal via the Construction Manager the countertop is not going to be fixed as requested and I am supposed to live with it. Basically, I need to close or pay for pushing closing until the countertop is fixed like requested. Knowing I had to close or pay a penalty to have closing pushed back for the countertop. I felt coerced to close and called Gwinn at Title to close on the house. I told Gwinn I was coerced to close even with the countertop not be corrected. Gwinn went out of her way to have the countertop fixed. I closed on the house and got the keys to the house. When I entered the house, the entire house was just as messy as before; dusty, windows dirty, garage not swept, and etc…. One thing that was fixed was the countertop. I believe whoever Gwinn talked to about my issue had it fixed. Crystal & the Construction Manager never told me about the corrected countertop, but also did not care that my new house was not cleaned. Also I discovered information I should have received was not given, like a water drought in the area associated with a fine (important thing to know). Living in the home for a month, I discovered few little things that needed fixing. Lennar Warranty Joel made sure things were fixed immediately and would either text or call me to make sure to schedule and have items fixed. Really happy with Joel and Lennar Warranty’s customer service. Cutting corners not providing information, not getting the interest rate I was quoted, messy home on move in, not be listened to, all left a horrible experience. I will never buy a Lennar Home just due to the Salesperson and the Construction Manager who was in charge of my home. I had to talk to one of my neighbors to find out if I was the only one treated this way. I wasn’t, so I feel good about that. I describe how I was treated, “the Lennar way”! ... Más

BIGGEST ISSUE: WE WERE ALLOWED TO MOVE IN AND BE IN THE HOUSE FOR OVER A MONTH AND LENNAR NEVER GOT OUR CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY COMPLETED UNTIL THEN.. Our problems started out with to many people trying to be involved but none of them talking to each other. A lot of blaming between departments and no solutions made was very frustrating. There was a major delay for final inspections for some reason and 5 days before we were to sign on our house was the first "blue tape" walk through which means construction only had a day and a half to fix everything that was listed. Finally we sign. A week after that, construction comes by because they never did the inspection testing on the A/C system and that was suppose to be done prior to closing. The guy does the testing and a week later we find out that they somehow lost all the paperwork for the test and the inspector was already back in Dallas, so here we go again with another person in our house testing the system (3 weeks after closing and moving in). We had to put a lock on our back gate because random contractors were bring tractors into our back yard but never letting us know that they were there or why they were. Keep in mind, we had been living in the house for 2 weeks at that point. A month and a half into living in the home, we needed to file a warranty report for the back door as it wasn't sealed properly and allowed water to come into the house (I will give the warranty department credit, they came and fixed it with in 48 hours). Now onto the grass. They laid sod a couple weeks after being in the home. A 3 foot by 50 foot section in the backyard never took. It died almost immediately after being put in even with watering it twice a day. We have complained several times about it and the only explanation that we are given is to just keep watering it and hope for the best. No one wants to accept responsibility and fix what should have been fixed prior to moving in and all departments want to put all blame elsewhere. ... Más

There is little accountability with anything. When initially inspecting the house and pointing out the defects that needed to be cleaned up or fixed they promised they would fix them all. We toured the house three days before moving and notice some problems were still not fixed or cleaned, they then promised it will be ready for move in. We show up for move in and the house was still in the same state and they said they cleaned the house. There was dirt in the windows sills, blue tape from the inspection still on the walls and in cabinets, dirt in the showers, tape residue on the flooring, scuffs in the walls, paint peeling from the doors. The bathroom door still didn’t close because it was misaligned, and other previously addressed issues. Lennar said either we wait another week for them to fix it file a warranty request. We didn’t want to stay and pay for another week in the hotel so we moved in and did the warranty request. The request took another month to be addressed and very little communication to keep us up to date. While installing the sod, they damaged the fence and ran over a pipe that led to the sewer which prevented us from using our toilet or running the water for a day. The fence is still not fixed after 3 months. Their customer care team is under staffed and warranty requests will take forever. I still have 6 requests pending with no end in sight. Do not trust. They may seem nice, bur Lennar over works them so they don’t have time to care. ... Más

I regret not hiring my own home inspector. Came across a few dents on garage door, leaking garbage disposal and bad water heater. Put in a work order a few months ago and haven't heard back from anyone. Having bugs come out of back walls on shower. Really disappointed for a new house.

Very disappointed in the over all experience of my first home buying process.
