Lennar team is a very responsive team, and they made our home buying process smooth and efficient.

We love our Lennar home. The location, lot size, and price couldn’t be beat. When it comes to issues (which all homes have) a Lennar representative has been quick to respond and get us on the schedule. We are just over one month in our home and have no significant complaints thus far.

I can’t over emphasize how much support I was given from the whole team once I toured my prospective home. The initial sales team even offered support much after their part in the purchase was completed. The loan officer was exceptional from start to finish. I also had a concierge that was extremely helpful with guiding me through the final steps of the closing. If I needed help with something I was given assistance literally within minutes. The support was always there no matter how insignificant the issue may have been. The warranty team has been extremely responsive with correcting any functional or craftsmanship issues. They have an online system in place to manage any issues. I feel like Lennar has taken great strides to ensure my utmost satisfaction with my home. ... Más

Overall, the experience with all the Lennar staff has been very good. They understand what customer service means to people like my wife and me. The only comment about needing improvement is some of the contractors following up. The lack of getting a contractor to resolve an issue doesn't reflect how hard Dan and Zach are working to resolve the issues and due to their efforts we are are making progress. Greatly appreciate their level of effort and customer service.

Brandon, our construction manager, was great. He really knows his stuff and cares about the quality of the house.

The team that took care of me included Kambria, Calvin, Brandon, Dave and later Dan. Everyone single one of them was great to work with and educated me through the process, answered all my questions, followed up and they all gave me great customer service. However, I did have a really bad experience with Kimberly. She was supposed to be the concierge designated to help me. I had such a bad experience with her I requested for her to be removed from my project. I have more information to give and show you. I request to discuss them further with someone in Lennar. Kimberly should not be in a position of customer service, maybe a more behind the scenes would be better for her. ... Más

Promises made and not delivered. Been in home for almost 7 weeks and lawn is still not in. It appears that Lennar is focusing on the unsold homes to make them look pretty for sale. If it's already sold, they take their sweet time.

We fell in love with the model home we toured - it was beautiful, we loved the neighborhood, and it felt like the right move for our family. Everyone in sales was helpful and responsive, and we got the ball rolling fairly quickly. Then our "concierge" Kimberly became our first contact and she was extremely difficult to work with. I'd get confusing information, would ask a clarifying question, and would get only short, rude responses. She rarely answered my questions directly. Our closing date was moved by Lennar, which is fine, but came off the tails of me asking for a different time of day - her response to that request was that Lennar couldn't possibly figure out how to change the time of day, but she did remind me half a dozen times that if I changed the date, it'd incur a $300 fee. I don't recall getting $300 when they changed the date on us (ha) but when I asked if our pre-close walkthrough day was also changing, she responded in all caps something about charging us $300. It's crazy - I got the sense she thought we were being unreasonable but I was only looking to confirm dates before I upended my work schedule again. Our home inspector was frustrated working with Kimberly as well, he said she made it next to impossible for him to do his job. Likewise our mortgage contact kept changing to someone who was also rude and didn't answer our questions (Desiree) but our original contact, Julie, was responsive and fortunately would jump in to answer our questions. We purchased our home insurance through Lennar, they neglected to tell us it was through a 3rd party so I was concerned when I started getting emails from another insurer. They also sold our mortgage to a 3rd party right after close. Those kinds of things feel shady to me. It felt like every moment from sales to close was confusing, frustrating, and we were just tossed from one random person to the next and could only get scraps of information from any given person. Luckily, our main contact post-close has been wonderful. Dan is pleasant, helpful, responsive, and seems to actually care about us. We have found a few small issues around the house, which he addressed quickly. One larger issue outside has to wait until the spring, but we feel confident that Dan will help us resolve it. We love the home, the neighborhood, and would probably do it all over again given the chance. It's just a shame that a few customer service reps would be so terrible at customer service that the whole process felt shadowed by it. ... Más

My suggestion to all potential buyer, don’t close on a house with Lennar unless all outstanding issues have been addressed. It’s nearly impossible to find anyone with Lennar to answer questions and have issues addressed.

The home itself is okay. Clearly the construction crews do not take great pride in their work or craftsmanship, as we had a leak in the roof within 2 weeks of closing. It took almost a month to get that fixed, but alas, it is squared away. Getting responses from folks can be difficult, too. On one occasion after we closed, we had the construction crew for a different property using our external faucet for some reason (have it on our security cameras). Closing itself was a nightmare as they did not get the certificate of occupancy in time. It seems this is probably par for the course in terms of things waiting until the last minute, which is surprising, considering the number of homes they put up. All in all, we like the house; there are some minor attention-to-detail things that aren't the greatest, but the home itself is fine. Working with folks at Lennar can be a large PITA, and it moves very slowly to have things remedied. ... Más
