When we went in I was not even looking to move. I was looking with friends. They ended up buying a house here and I followed. John was great to work with, thru the whole process. Buying a house is a big decision and that comes with a lot of emotions. John was always there to help where he could and listen when he couldn't help. He is very personable and very responsive. I believe that thru the process he has become a friend. I would recommend him and LGI to everyone.

My home buying experience with LGI Homes was great from my first interaction until closing and beyond. My sales rep, Nick, was phenomenal. He guided me through the process, kept me informed all the time and made my home-buying experience hassle free and joyful. His professionalism and personable interactions every step of the way made me feel as if I was "his only client". And, after closing, he has continued to provide unparalleled customer service. Along with Ryan, another amazing sales rep, they truly understand the importance of "after purchase" service. My construction manager, Mike, was also amazing. He has been top notch even after the sale and closing on the home days, weeks and even months after the completion of our home. We had a small issue on communication after closing but they took accountability and fixed it immediately. That's great customer service! very disappointed in the contractors who built this home. poor workmanship and dont bother to cleanup after working. found several nails and debris in front and back yard. they dont take pride in what they build

Overall, I was very impressed with the LGI home buying experience, as was my relator. It is non-traditional meaning you do not pick ANYTHING in your home but the finishes and such are pretty good as their standard. The process was very well organized, they were communicative and the sales, contractors etc. were all very friendly and professional. There are 3 issues that I have with LGI. 1. Radon testing--we tested our home before closing and the levels were an average of 3x the recommended levels. LGI doesn't care about radon and the high levels. We as new home owners had to spend another thousand-ish to install a radon mitigation system. LGI doesn't take care of that or even offer a credit towards it. They say the city doesn't have a restriction in place for them to follow so they don't have to. Very irresponsible and dismissive if you ask me. My second issue and the quality of some of the work done. You can tell their teams to not value perfection. Whether it's tiling, drywall, paint, cutting of the floors....there are many little flaws throughout the home. Some I noticed and indicated on our walk through and they were not resolved and others you don't notice until you are in the home. They aren't major, but when you are purchasing a home and spending an large amount, you expect it to be done right. The third issue is an example of the quality. A few days after moving in the weather shifted and we had to turn the heat one. Our down stairs was like an oven but out upstairs was noticeably chilly. So much so that I had to put a space heater in my daughters room at night because it would drop so much despite turning up the upstairs thermostat. I finally notice on the 2nd day of having the heat on, that it would kick on but no warm air was coming out upstairs, only on the lower level. I called the "emergency" number for a no heat call. They came out, and turns out the thermostats were wired incorrectly and both thermostats only controlled the downstairs so absolutely no heat was going to the upstairs. It was fixed and the technician then told us it was working but the airflow was below what it should be and we needed to submit that through the warranty system. All that being said, I don't regret our purchase and for the current market we ended up with more house than we thought we would with LGI and their unique process. All the "issues" have been relatively minor and we have worked with. I would recommend LGI to someone I know, but would provide a little guidance with what we learned in the process. ... Más

The home was done two weeks before it was scheduled to be done.

The overall build of the home is good. It’s the sales team that you need to be aware of. They will tell you what you want to hear to get you to buy the house. So make sure that whatever they tell you is in writing. If it’s not don’t believe them.

Don't expect repairs to be finished in a timely manner if at all. Their repair portal seems to go unnoticed, they knew for months (since end of april) about a broken window and as of 7/20/21 still not replaced

We were very disappointed when we learned the upscale option package was not available at this location. The availability of this option was what was originally attracted us to your properties but we chose to settle for Keenesburg in order to achieve the square footage we needed. The sales guy/Hugh was excellent. We grossly underestimated the train/highway noise and the lack of infrastructure/services.

I hired a third party inspector to double check the work on this house and found it to be of quality construction. the home price for what they are in Colorado is fair but the whole housing market here is grossly overpriced. You'll be satisfied if you don't actually expect them to fix anything or follow up on warentee items. If you are a do it your self kinda person you can get a decent new home. Watch out for HOA which was established before the neighborhood and wants to be notified of every flower or blade of grass you plant in your yard. They don't get back to you quickly, nor do any of them live here so you can miss out on sale items if you want to do any of the required landscaping in your unfinished back yard. You also aren't provided with the covenants or restrictions at closing so you have no idea that you are violating any rules until you get a surprise notice from them. I do not recommend LGI. Poor quality work, rushed construction and poor communication through the entire process. I do not recommend LGI!
