I would like people to know: home buying is a little stressful getting all the documents : getting this and getting that: but , it’s worth it once you get into the home: lots of forms and paperwork has a Time stamp on them.,

My first home buying experience was okay. I had to have my closing date changed which wasn’t a big deal, but prior to closing I was told that my closing cost would go from $168 to $2900 due to the VA appraising my home less than what LGI said it was worth. I also didn’t get appliances in my home until the day after I closed. The home itself is beautiful and I absolutely love it! There were a few things that were missing or needed to be done (and still needs to be done). The VP of construction came to my home this week and also noticed the deficiencies in my home. I am still waiting on the flooring, painting, basement, and doors to be fixed. Again, I love my home, but there are a few things that still need to be fixed. I would like to commend Fik and Josh in the sales office for being amazing. They were absolutely a pleasure to speak with. ... Más

After closing we found many issues and still new ones popping up. Too many to list. The houses are built quickly with cheap materials and zero attention to detail. Spoke to one of the builders and tried speaking with the sales manager but that was an absolute waste of time. Guess I’ll try the warranty process for the things that can be fixed. However, based on my experience with the Avalon North team, we have zero expectations. We will do another review on other platforms at that point. So disappointed in LGI. For anyone considering LGI please do your homework and if possible have someone monitor the build from start to finish. ... Más
