Sales experience was great! Alot of work in the house was sloppy and the sheet rock on the walls are already cracking only been there a month not kool!

There are several things that need to be fixed, if not fixed then replaced. There are several places that need paint touch up and all were noted when we did our walk through and as if today, Jan 5, 2021, the only thing replaced were the 4 fence boards.

I put in a follow up repair request, but I have not received a response. It has been almost two weeks. After the sail the builder is responding to problems.

Overall LGI was good to work with. However, there are some things I wish/hope this developer would do. For example, Saddle Brook will have 88 homes when it's finished but there are absolutely ZERO streetlights here. That's not good. Also, as of this writing, there is no signage indicating the name of the property. Not sure if they will. It would make it easier for guests and delivery drivers to find us. I hope LGI will think about these things in the future. Also, apparently they once had a security guard but have since gotten rid of them. Lastly, use semi-gloss paint throughout.

When we visited LGI they were huge in talking about their workmanship and how they build quality. Let me tell you that is not the case they have poor workmanship and the quality of work is poor and when you ask for it to get fixed they say that is the way it’s suppose to be. Make sure to take the time to do your walk thru as the home has so many issues before you get there. Then do it again because they don’t fix them. When they do they have a bad attitude like you have issues. I do love my home but we decide next time we will not buy LGI

We were so excited to buy our first home and Dillian our LGI agent was very helpful and made our buying experience smooth and seamless. He was always available for questions. Trying to get things fixed that is under warranty is a challenge, but we are very happy with our purchase. We love our neighborhood. Feels like home!

That once you close they are done with you. There’s no follow up on how things are going or nothing. They make a lot of promises they don’t keep.

Small details that are overlooked, and we were surprised with a big expense right before closing (appraisals) but overall good.

Do not close on the house if there are known issues. On the walk-through, I was promised that the issues will be addressed before the closing. Unfortunately not. And severely lacking in response to my repeated requests to fix known issues.

Don't expect repairs to be finished in a timely manner if at all. Their repair portal seems to go unnoticed, they knew for months (since end of april) about a broken window and as of 7/20/21 still not replaced

The process of buying the house was some what simple. I did have an issue with my realtor getting her share but everything got resolved. Once I did my walk through I did notice that did builders did a sloppy work and everything look like it was rush. When I was coming to see the house before it was done I noticed on the ceiling outside there was a whole and I brought it up to the attention of my salesman but later on when I did the walk through the whole was still there. The fix it with caulking. Which I’m not satisfied about it. Also noticed two crack on my ceiling in my living room going across the house. They came and fix it in a week but only fix one. Two weeks later the came and fix the rest. Also when doing the walk through I could tell the guy from LGI was getting annoyed of all the things that I was pointing out but painting and Sheetrock was sloppy work. After all this it took over a months to get everything fix and painted. That is also including a whole on my bathtub that had to get patch. Now that it have been a month of living there my water heater has gone out and I do not have hot water. It’s been hard to get in touch with people to talk to things get things done. Even to log in to the warranty page I still have not been able to do that. I’ve followed the instructions on the page but nothing seems to work I’ve email and talk to the manager and project manager and still can’t get in. The excitement of buying a new home goes away once you move in and notice all the details where workers just were careless. Some people think we just should be glad we got a home. I don't think like that. I should just be glad my roof is not leaking.

For the most part i am happy with overall experience. However i do have a couple of complaints. I was promised my back yard would be re-seeded and new hay put down. Purchased mid October. Now been just about two months and has yet to be completed. I even reminded the office about it. Two months in and i feel i was given a false promise. Second issue I have is with the installation of the SOD in front and side yards. Looks terrible. They left large gaps between each piece instead of butting them up against each other. Obvious they were cutting corners. I paid extra for a premium lot, and received terrible workmen-ship for said lot. ... Más

They were very helpful before we moved in. However, after moving in we experienced multiple issues and they weren’t helpful at all addressing them. We have been without WiFi for over a month and it may take another 3-months because the wires weren’t installed prior to building.

Person sold us the house and we never saw her again and no one took her place to walk us through the process

Experience was rough but my Agent was awesome. He helped me through the long and demanding process.

LGI and Loan Depot made it possible for me to become a homeowner and get out of the apartment for just a little more money per month. The location was great and the house is super nice and roomy. The communication between sales and the customer was very poor. The construction team knocked the home out in time but the paperwork was not completed. This took an extra month to get together and pushed closing back several times. Had the paperwork been done sooner, or, they just had communicated that the house would be ready way sooner than closing then the process would have been much smoother. They forgot my closing disclosure, which is the main document, when I showed up to close. I still got the keys and eventually got it settled. The lender asked for several documents randomly instead of just a list here or there. They seemed to keep needing things and providing documentation for things I had provided. I assume they are just doing their job and required for USDA loans. Lots of areas that were unpredictable with lack of informing but in the end I love the new home. I understand everyone is really busy so hoping it improves in the future as the process sucked some of the fun out of the experience. My friends and family thought it was way nicer and bigger in person than the pictures. They crank the homes out and turn dreams into reality so I am very pleased once getting over the hurdles. The grass didn’t get rolled but hoping it will flatten out over time and only 2 small cars or 1 regular truck will fit in the garage. Overall it was a great decision and my dog loves the yard. I was so excited to move into my new home; however, the craftsmanship is noticeably subpar. The paint job has been the biggest eyesore (missing paint as well as dripping paint in spots). There were also issues with a hole in one shower that was pitifully patched in an effort to hide it from the buyer which was very disconcerting and missing trim work that needed to be addressed during the final walk through. The house will hopefully be what I thought it would be, but not without my efforts to fix things that shouldn’t have been a problem from the get go.

I would like people to know: home buying is a little stressful getting all the documents : getting this and getting that: but , it’s worth it once you get into the home: lots of forms and paperwork has a Time stamp on them.,

We are happy and quite surprised that LGI came in on time completing the home. That has never been done in our experience with new home builders. Besides small glitches we are able to see at this time, we are happy with the workmanship. We did find ourselves shaking our heads a bit. No towel bars in bathrooms. That was a first in buying a new home. We feel it is a small expense and they should have been provided. Instead, we had to install them after moving in. Last negative was pretty annoying for us. LGI partners with ADT by having some equipment inside allowing them to call it a "smart home." It is nothing more than a gimmick to allow ADT to push alarm systems and contracts. 80% of the equipment is useless if you choose not to contract with ADT. LGI does not provide any adequate information on how to use the equipment, other than referring you to ADT. In turn, ADT will not allow you to use the equipment in your own home without contracting with them. They are also very pushy in their tactics. We had to completely remove all the ADT equipment from our home to be free from them. Doing so, leaves some holes in the walls to be fixed at your expense. LGI needs to end their relationship with ADT. If we were buying the home over again, we would not allow ADT equipment to be placed in our home. This partnership creates a very unnecessary bad reflection on LGI. One month in, we are happy with our home overall. Hopefully everything stays that way. ... Más

The hard sakes to use loan depot was a huge disappointment and regret using the company ! Most unprofessional company I have ever used! The final walk through work is still not started 30 days after closing and no need on when it will get done.

The home buying process was smooth and convenient. Unfortunately the home was constructed shoddily with notable lack of quality control. Case in point, the fridge was broken/defective on move-in and to this day (1 month later) I’m still waiting on the manufacturer’s warranty to fix the useless appliance.

This was my first time purchasing a home and although I thought I was prepared I was not. I was taken in by the immediate aesthetic and enthusiasm of our sales rep of the home but the more and more I continued to look at the home and actually live in it I realize It’s pretty cheaply made and have began to notice all the flaws and poor workmanship. The subdivision doesn’t really offer a whole lot for the size that it continues to grow into. This definitely has prepared us for our next purchase in the future.

We purchased our home and we were able to walk through the home while it was being built. We pointed out a few flaws one of which was a hole in the subfloor on the second floor. Which was not repaired prior to carpet installation. We couldn’t find it during the home inspection but found it after the closing. They had to come out and remove the carpet in the area and repair the floor. The rear porch roof was missing tie ins to the support beams. The fixed prior to siding installation. During our first week in the home noticed Refrigerator door was bent and wouldn’t close properly. They had it out multiple times during construction and may have known that it wasn’t working properly. Warranty repair man ordered new door estimated 6-8 weeks before repair could be done no refrigerator during this time offered by whirlpool a gift card to purchase a small refrigerator until it’s repaired. Anticipated having walk up stairs to the attic as we were shown in the model got a boxed hole in the ceiling with limited access. Very disappointed at this point 4 weeks into the home poor quality for the price. We will be turning in the HVAC unit leaking all over little to no cooling upstairs. Windows are also poor quality. Seems like a rush to build very cheaply and charge premium price for low quality. ... Más

Wonderful process until I moved in. Various workmanship issues (no screens, garage door not working, ice maker not working, etc) and it is over a month and some still havent been addressed or even acknowledged.
