I feel fully cared for with my new home from Pulte Homes.

We had a good experience during the Model home visit and purchase at the Sales office. The experience was similarly good at the Design Center where we could choose options and upgrades though we would have liked more options. During the Build process, we could see the site was professionally managed and the Field manager kept us in the loop on the progress of the build. At critical stages in the build process, the Field manager arranged site visits for us and communicated to us clearly not only about critical dates, but also about the equipment and utilities along with instructions about maintenance. At move-in we were promptly put in touch with the post move-in Customer Support Rep to address any concerns or issues that may arise after move-in. We love our new home and the price we paid wasn't cheap but you get what you pay for.

The materials were fine in terms of value for money, but the workmanship was not. There are visible sheetrock joints and bumps in some places on the walls. There is a rather steep gradient in the flooring, which may be by design, but there are minor yet noticeable ups and downs in the flooring as you walk on it. Similar minor workmanship issues throughout the house. The way the contract was drafted, it was punishing for the buyers in terms of timelines and penalties, so read it carefully.

Overall I do love my new house however I do feel like the quality of the materials is lacking. Our hardwood floors scratch off easily. I have noticed parts where little splints of wood have come off. We have dark wood so these little spots are obvious because underneath the wood it is a light wood color. So it is very visible against the dark wood. I feel like the price we paid to upgrade certain things doesn't match the quality of the items. Also the appliances and sink installed are just average. I wouldn't say they are top of the line products. our sink has so many scratches after the first use. I also feel like there were a lot of little details that were missed, such as some corners not painted as nicely or grout not put in completely neatly. The quality of the home for the price I paid is average. The materials of the kitchen cabinets and drawers are not very sturdy. The paint job is mediocre at best. The garage door the way it was built slams to the ground when it closes. The driveway and garage is very tight space. For the price of the homes I was expecting a little more higher quality
