The craftsmanship needs better overview.

Great salesman and sales experience. Not so great response on issues.

We absolutely love our construction supervisor, Carlos. He was so personable and always very understanding. Although, the crews that Pulte decides to hire for drywall, texture, painting and especially Landscaping are crap! Having no construction experience, I feel like I could’ve done a better job! The landscape company that was hired for our neighborhood does the BARE MINIMUM!! They DO NOT roll out the ground before lying down the sod. We did not have any dirt in some areas and even had areas full of mulch under patches of sod. Since the ground wasn’t rolled out, we’re having drainage issues that higher ups and grading companies don’t think are bad enough to do anything about. These areas will cause foundation issues eventually and I refuse to settle for mediocre work and excuses. As far as the drywall and texturing, there are numerous VISIBLE nail holes from securing the dry wall. Instead of fixing it, they just textured and painted it. I will be having these areas fixed before my 1 year mark. There are numerous areas that the painters missed; not just barely missed but huge areas! ... Más

It seems Pulte has refined a success formula by building a quality home with the best of systems and appliances and finish work. Always a good investment.

I love my home but there have been so many issues come up that have been unaddressed which is frustrating. Dents in a door, scuffs on my cabinets (pointed out a month prior to closing), gouges in my bathtub, horrible looking thresholds, the list goes on and on. By in large it has been crickets! I am so frustrated!

I would say the price is too high for the quality of the materials. Given that is mass production, attention to detail is lost, but other than that people are attentive and fast to answer questions and solve any issues.

Great home builders and generally quick to respond to issues.

Resolving issues is very slow.

The home buying process was painless, from the design to signing the mortgage. Pulte offers lot of designs to fit your needs and are really responsive to your needs. Unfortunately, there were some things that were not done before closing, and now now it seems I cannot get a hold of anyone. Maintenance workers miss scheduled appointment and there was no followup. I am disappointed that these fixes fell through especially because I was reassured things would be taken care of quickly.

The communication between the builders and the buyer was very poor! Simple problems could have been resolved with honest communication. I felt I was deceived many times throughout the building process. My issues were resolved, but only through a long and drawn out process. Very frustrating!

Although customizations are not an option outside of the available upgrade options (the negative for our situation), the build quality and workmanship is not far off from high end builder quality (the positive). This is our 2nd Pulte home. We had spent the last 2 years looking to move to a better location for our family situation. We looked at many existing homes and competitive builders, but ultimately ended up picking Pulte for their ideal home layout options, high efficiency standards, and quality (as seen in our last Pulte home and our current home. Pulte Mortgage and Title were phenomenal. I purchased a model, so I would say that this comes without the standard warranty and i should have done a little more checking before the purchase. But the sales and project management team were very good themselves as well.

It was a long process and not so optimal communication

I still love the decision I made towards purchasing this home. There’s several things that are pending to be fixed since I moved in about two months ago to be fixed.

Our home buying experience with Pulte was great. Tiffany the sales representative and Josh the Field Manager really did a great job and was extremely fun to work with. The quality of the workmanship and materials at this point I would have to rate somewhere in the middle. I absolutely love the home however, the paint and drywall in several areas needs to be corrected. In addition, to smaller items. Trustworthiness, again Josh was great and he always completed the task how he said he would. As our primary point of contact he was great to work with! The reason for only 3 stars is because of my interaction with HVAC company that came out to my home to complete our warranty issue. The guy was extremely rude and I asked him to leave. Value for the price we paid. Perhaps this is more of a reflection of the Columbus Ohio housing market. But from an investment perspective, the base price of our home has increased by 30k since Feb. In addition, the 2 appraisals that we had completed in July and August by two different banks ( we found better pricing outside of Pulte Mortgage that they couldn't match) was 40K higher than our purchase price! With our home being the third closing in the new section; and with the majority of closings happening over the next three to four months I would assume our value will increase significantly! Responsiveness to issues. Like any new home you're going to notice items once you actually get into the house. Our home is no exception to this rule. Several items I'm still waiting to get corrected. But I trust that they'll be done soon. The HVAC sub was useless but Pulte Warranty did offer to come out and review the issues that I'm having. Nothing too major but at this price point I expect to have issues remedied fairly quickly. ... Más

Building process was good. The 30 day warranty is Not Great and disappointing especially for what I paid for it. It’s a who is responsible?!! Or you accepted! This is not right

Sales office was very helpful, thing would have been without the virus problem

It would be nice to have more choices for a custom home. We learned that The contractors after market are significantly less

The overall home buying process with Pulte was very professional and seamless. Other than a few craftsmanship issues with my home, I am pretty satisfied with my home buying experience. I would recommend a Pulte home to my family and friends.

There were some issues that are still unresolved that needed repairs

Overall Experience: The journey from initial purchase to move-in was lengthy but mostly transparent. We stayed on top of every requirement and did our part, which helped keep things moving. Toward the end, however, the process became more difficult and less coordinated, which added stress during a time that should have felt exciting. Quality & Value: The Lexington model offers competitive quality compared to other builders in Davis Ranch. The layout and design are strong, but there were several items left unfinished that should have been addressed before closing. For the price we paid, we expected a more polished final product. Builder Team Experience: Our experience started on a high note with the sales consultant—an exceptional young lady who guided us with transparency and care. She consistently checked in and made us feel supported. Once construction began, our manager was upfront and communicative during the three major checkpoints. However, after the final walkthrough, we were disappointed to find the home had not received its final cleaning. It was handed over in a condition far below the standard we saw in Pulte’s model homes, which was a major letdown. That level of presentation is what convinced us to buy, and we expected the same care in our own home. Advice to Future Buyers: Stay engaged throughout the entire process and hold the builder accountable—just as they hold buyers to every requirement. While we’re grateful for the opportunity to own this home, there were several incomplete steps and overlooked details that shouldn’t happen at this level of investment. Builder cheaps out on so many things that could make house much better for very little extra cost.

Customer service very poor after settlement

Andrew,Tim,Gretchen,Mike and Ally have been great. The craftsman ship of the home is very poor. Lots of issues and many repairs needed. I would not recommend a Pulte home to anyone.

Something’s went well while others could have been seamless !
