Some items needed attending/repairs before closing. Already have nail pops in ceiling. Sloppy painting job.

Overall a very good buying experience with Pulte Homes. Good Quality appliances inside the home. The central Circuit Panel and the WiFi extenders are also top of the line. A big shout out to Kyle who was very friendly and helpful throughout the entire Closing/Settlement process.

Build manager Adam was very responsive and helpful through the build process. We definitely got more value from a new build with pulte than any of the used options we found in the entire Detroit area

Better than previous years .

Since closing I have noticed many mistakes in the finish work of my new home. From faucets that do not line up with handles, to door threshold that is loose and getting worse. I keep finding small things that represent a lack of care in the details: Uneven cabinet doors, sloppy grout lines, no sealer on the grout of tiled floors, mistakes in mill work details, any more. One I move in, I will have these problems corrected.

We have been in our new home approximately 2 months. So far we are quite pleased with our experience. We purchased the home as a spec that was about 1/2 finished at the time of purchase. We were pleased with the quality of materials and craftmanship that we saw at time of purchased and as the process continued. One are we were disappointed in was the builders decision to fence behind our home and all of the homes along our street after our purchase was made. We made the purchase based on the development plan we were given which showed no fence behind any of the homes on our street. To Pulte's credit they did give us a aluminum fence which ultimately did not impede the wooded view we paid a premium for. However the vinyl fence behind all of the homes to our left was a disappointment due to the way it degraded the view of the wooded common area behind all of these homes. The only other issues we have encountered have been with a toilet in our master bathroom. The float has gone out twice now in two months. However Pulte and their sub have been quick to fix the problem. The second issue had to do with a sub splashing concrete all over the side of our home as they were pouring the foundation on the home next door. Again Pulte was quick to have the left side of our home repainted to repair the damage. All in all I have been pleased with my experience with Pulte and would recommend them and the Marwood community to other prospective purchasers ... Más

Overall buying experience with Pulte homes was very smooth and helpful.

The experience was awesome but Pulte Mortgage underwriter was over the top nosey, intrusive and over the top with personal information

Pretend to be high end but just average

Transparent and clean buying process. Superb help and responsiveness, very helpful and truthful. Extremely trustworthy. Superb quality of construction and the best part…. The team and the people. They were the best… everyone of them.

Don't allow them to rush you

Pulte Mortgage process itself needs work. Their documents request was extra. Resending documents as well. Unacceptable. I needed to bring in their Supervisor in twice to take care of concerns. My sales person, Builder and our contractor did a fabulous job walking us thru the process and answering all our questions. Thank you!

The home is great and so far, so good. During construction, any issues that we noticed were handled and my home was delivered as expected. Working with the ancillary companies - mortgage/insurance, was excellent and made the build up to closing stress free. HOWEVER, having moved to Florida from New Jersey, the estimated closing date information, was abysmal, as the builder would NOT share their estimated completion date with me, their customer. To this day, I do not understand why this info was "secret" until they divulged the closing date. Many buyers have to make actual living arrangements when building a house. It shouldn't be, "it's our way or the high way." We're essentially partners before, during and after closing. Just peculiar and something that future buyers should be aware. ... Más

Besides the Certificate of Occupancy I feel communication between departments within Pulte would be a huge help. Different departments tend to go back to the buyer for information that could easily by discovered within the companies own network. Besides these issues we do love the home.

Cheryl, our sales rep., was delightful and willing to help us all throughout our construction. Our design team experience was awesome as well. Wish we had more time there. Our first construction manager was nice, but not effective and many thing were not caught and corrected. Our 2nd construction manager, Keven, was good, but under a lot of stress correcting the mistaKevin, the first guy, and catching up on our construction. The completion of our home was delayed and often sat for weeks without anything being done. That is where our dissatisfaction lies. We are trusting David to follow through and complete our list of shortcomings and error since our close. We have a beautiful home that I love and hope to enjoy for many years. ... Más

Upon arriving with 2 (two) trucks from Florida (2 days) driving with household items were we informed that the closing was delayed and that we had to wait till electrical power was connected to our Townhome. Highly unprofessional and a hardship upon the owner and kids. We had to stay in a hotel and later on in a rental home. The problems we endured unloading and packing our goods in other trucks and stores again were the worst experiences ever for a new Pulte home buyer.

We are happy with the way our new home turned out. Everything looks better than expected. Although there were times we felt communication could have been better, it was an overall great experience and our Pulte team (Brandon and Jesse) were very responsive to our questions or needs.

The three Pulte Members I had the most interaction with were Tyler.B , Jennifer D, and Dalton R. I would give all three of these team members 5 stars. Especially Tyler. Really all three of them were excellent. The underwriting team was sometimes difficult and presented a challenge, and the site could have been more secure after the house equipment was dropped off (ex. leaving unattached water heaters in open garage bays without garage doors). I do believe there were various people in the area looking to loot the incomplete houses, however other than that we are currently very pleased. Great Job !!! ... Más

When I initially saw the model of Claremont, I was shown a walk-in-shower, was not told that was an upgrade at all, I had 6 different people with me two different times visiting unit and was never told I was getting a tub. Since then I have been asking M to give me the contractor they used to install bathrooms and have not had any good results, I moved in 11/13/2023 it is now 1/3/2024. Very disappointed that no one has helped and I’m left on my own. My brother purchased this condo for me and has spent a great deal of money to make my life comfortable, everything else is good, except this bathroom issue. Pulte employees on the whole were very good. My only complaint would be that they allow you a walk through of the home to note items or issues which need to be corrected however this is typically 1.5 to 2 hours and it is impossible to detect every issue both inside and outside of the home during that short period.

Your experience with building a new home is 100% dependent on the quality of your Construction Manager. Fortunately, after the first month they switched us to a rock star. Henry was superb. His communication skills, attention to detail, calmness under pressure, customer service soft skills, and organizational skills were the sole reason this build was a success. While most CMs would have let little things slide, Henry took personal pride in the home build as if it was his own home. He is an asset to Pulte and I truly hope they compensate him well. I also wanted to briefly express our appreciation to Hannah from the sales team. She advocated for us when contractual issues came up and corrected them to our satisfaction. Pulte like most big builders are subject to the local talent and of course what they are willing to pay for hiring sub-contractors. Some contractors are more competent than others. I don't blame Pulte 100% for that since any home builder that doesn't have their own teams would be at the mercy of the contracting pool available in that area. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because of the actions of some of their contractors. ... Más

Nathan from Pulte Homes was amazing (10 of of 10!) every obstacle that came our way, he personally went above and beyond to correct (spectrum issues, lawn issue etc) and was very forth coming with information. I really appreciate him being an intrical part of the building process for me and my family because he made it easier on us.

Had a great experience working with construction manager Chris. Chris’s honesty and professionalism was exceptional.
