This is my first house, i really like the quality of Pulte and design but the only thing was few minor details were not discussed not a major issue but like gas connection at the backyard patio and light fixture at gathering room.. rest everything is great.

Just purchased home in April at the start of the Coronavirus pandemic and haven’t moved in yet, but aside from minor glitches like tub faucet came off and some paint spots missed, everything looks good.

Have always like Pulte Homes but never purchased one. Always thought that the quality and workmanship was top notch. Our purchase was a bit less than that. Attention to details, caulking, painting and clean home before move in was lacking. They need to revisit those issues to make sure the customer can move in with little concern for major things such as those. I don't want to move into a home and then have to go behind a 'professional' that has 'rushed' at his/her job. Overall, they are in the process of trying to make it right and make us as the homeowner, happy. That matters!!!!

Nice house

My husband and I are beyond thrilled to be living in our new home. Unfortunately the world changed due to Covid-19 and that put everyone in a grey area full of unknown circumstances. The main focus was everyone staying safe and healthy (as well as it should be). However once in our home there were unforeseen issues that could not be addressed due to the quarantine. The construction team were prompt with their responses on what they could do but it wasn’t much they could. Construction has since resumed and we were excited to get our final construction items “wrapped up” only to receive a letter explaining that we wouldn’t get our lawn, sidewalks or driveway completed no later than the end of July 2020. We understand that there is so much that goes on that we are never aware of but this is by far the most frustrating. We have daughters who can’t play with friends and are still quarantined but can’t play on the lawn outside and are growing tired of staying in. Again I’m sure this was not an easy choice for Pulte but rather a series of tough calls to make. I do hope everyone and their families are safe and healthy. My husband and I also want to mention that the design process was a bit difficult and we feel that a visual representation would help out significantly. It felt as we were relying on the interior designers knowledge as opposed to actually seeing a depiction of OUR design choices. The designer was great, patient and calm and we enjoyed her expertise but we feel it would’ve saved time for both parties and helped us figure out where to splurge and what to “cut corners on”. i am overall very happy with the attendance and and the way the project was organized and conducted by Pulte. this applies to all involved departments, sales design center, construction and construction supervision. schedule was ahead of time. looking forward to move in.

1. The overall design and "flow" of the home are very nice. The master bathroom and kitchen are two areas that rate five stars! 2. The Construction Superintendent was (and continues to be) very responsive and easy to work with. He definitely rates five stars. 3. The customer service/warranty dept. has been very responsive as well. 4. In hindsight, we should have been provided with a complete list of available standard (and custom) options. For example, the electrical service panel is rated for 150 Amps; it is very common today to build a new home with a 200 Amp panel. Because we needed more power for a home workshop, we had to hire the electrical contractor to add a sub-panel-totally at our expense. The plan for the workshop were discussed quite often with the builder, but not once was the panel rating brought up. That certainly should have been handled better. 5. There are quite a few issues (mostly minor) that need to be addressed that it seems could have been avoided with more attention to detail. ... Más

Some sloppy finishing work that needs fixed. Paint in interior is terrible. But overall everything else in the home was finished quickly and nicely.

We are happy with our home. Quality and workmanship as good as any home I have built in past. Value is comparable to the area. Time will tell but so far so good.

The home itself and the sales person are fine, The title company was rude and unresponsive. The follow up on punch list items is hampered by covid so not fair to rate.I did find Pulte very inflexible with regard to final walk through which cost us a lot of money and time.

I didn’t really want to move here. I had lived in Carrollton for over forty years and many of my friends are there, but family concerns took precedent...the house of fine. It’s built like a tank, but the garage is ridiculously small. That’s my only beef...everything else is fine. The neighborhood is cool.

This is our first home and I'd say that except for a small detail we're pretty happy. So far we didn't find any major defects or things that can't be quickly solved with the exception of one thing: a fan on the roof. The architect (i'm guessing) thought it was a great idea to put a high power fan on the very top of the building, dead center in the middle on our master bedroom roof. We're trying to figure out, still unsuccessfully, what to do about it.

Pulte was responsive to our concerns of after sale issues. While the finishing painters were not the best and I would have a hard time calling the landscapers...landscapers, over all we love the house and are pleased with our purchase. Our salesperson was the best! And our coordinator for picking out interior design was also good, she really knew how to put everything together.

Do a thorough inspection of your new home. I found a few things that need fixing. Luckily it's under warranty. Door sticking, Rattling noise in the air vent, hole on the master bathroom dry wall, hardwood floors has scratches in bedroom, hallway, kitcken, kitchen cabinet pullout drawer where stuck missing screws, front porch and back patio ceiling needs to be repainted. I loved the layout of the house. And most of all, I do like the location it is close to everything. Kroger, Publix, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, Target, Sam's Club, and fast foods.

Be prepared for construction issues.

Beware you can get decision fatigue from all the choices you have to make when you design a home from scratch. At one point we said yes to a shower head upgrade that Pulte charged $1,700 for and we later found on Amazon for $149. When we pointed that out, they were unwilling to make an adjustment. Otherwise, the buying experience was very pleasant. Unfortunately, our move in has been postponed indefinitely because of the corona pandemic, so we can't speak to how livable the house is just yet.

My home is very nice and seems to be well constructed. I did not go with Pulte mortgage or homeowners insurance; therefore, that was slow process.

I am a second time home buyer. I enjoyed my home buying experience with Pulte. They are thorough professionals. They are pricey. I got my home constructed and delivered sooner 2 months ahead of the promised timeline. The Pulte mortgage, Pulte insurance is an add on that they offer and I opted in as I got discounts. My overall experience was good.

I have identified several workmanship quality issues, including chipped tiles, which do not reflect the level of care expected in the construction of my home. It is disappointing to see evidence that suggests a lack of attention to detail and quality during the building process. I would appreciate these items being addressed to ensure the finished home meets the expected standards.

Was willing to pay for additional upgrades but not available. Not a fan of having to pick a package for trim. Interior paint job, and application = poor Front door frame/door not aligned properly. Sunlight, wind can be seen coming through seal. Settling occurred in the first week with 12” crack developing over patio door installation on interior wall. 3’ crack also on back patio cement porch. Upgraded kitchen hood not installed properly with water seeping in when raining. Looks like aftermarket job.

So far, I am excited about my new Pulte home, and overall I feel that my experiences were generally positive. The sales agent, Tamu, in particular was incredible to work with and very helpful. I do have some reservations about aspects of the closing, as it was moved up by a week due to nearing the end of the year, which led to many aspects feeling rushed. This is all the more frustrating due to progressively finding more concerns about the home over the almost 2 months living here, including areas that corners were cut or elements that are not working as intended (or at all). This certainly raises concerns that issues arose in workmanship and quality due to Pulte's rush to close before year's end. Despite this, I remain cautiously optimistic, as the new home warranty should address these concerns. We love our home, no question. However, we were disappointed that the gentleman who took us through our final walkthrough promised that certain issues that were spotted would be taken care of. They were not. Nothing major, some doors needed spot painting, a toilet paper dispenser was missing, A/C documentation was never delivered, etc. We decided to wait until the 9 month inspection period to bring these issues up again. We do enjoy the home and the area, The quality of the home in general is good. We look forward to living out our retirement years here.

Overall, good choice and good value
