The team at Pulte was proficient and good to work with - very timely in response to inquiries and issues. The quality of some finishes makes me question their subcontracting - rushed and not good value for price paid. If I buy another home, I would go with the basics and hire out my own contractors for higher quality finishes and materials.

The initial process of buying and the beginning of the construction process was great. My salesperson was fantastic during the process. He was quick to address my questions and concerns and never made me feel like I was bothering him. He was definitely a pleasure to work with. Once the construction process was coming to an end, the two-way communication with the construction manager wasn’t as great. I was told that he’s very busy which I understand. However, perhaps having two people for the job would be better so that the buyer can get their questions answered and things followed up on in a timely manner. Now that I’m all closed, there’s still a couple of lingering things I wanted addressed but I’m over chasing it down and will have to have someone else come finish it up. All in all, I had a good (not great) experience with the process with Pulte and I’m enjoying my new home. ... Más

I paid over 40k my floating stairs and it was just terrible on closing day. My biggest issue is the superintendent being switched mid job and receiving complaints about txt messages on weekends because he doesn't work weekends but still hasn't responded to texts I sent Tuesday. this is my second pulte home my first superintendent is 1000x better. u guys told me to goto Sherwin Williams and gave me a piece of paper w no line of paint and the superintendent didn't know and couldn't get a hold of the painters. so didn't get any paint. found out it's. painters edge and it's $15 a gallon.... not happy about that. they also don't sell it at any of the stores is commercial only.... the gates weren't working when I moved and HOA said no it's just me but it wasn't lol. I do love the fact they made the wolf range happen before closing. Karen was amazing I had been looking for a home in summerlin and all the bidding for lots drove me nuts so to be able to come up and just buy a property was the best part of this experience. also Christina at the design center is absolutely amazing and best communication I've had at pulte. focus electric and plumbing are great too. the process was long difficult and stressful but financially the best decision I made this year in real. estate. ... Great location of home and community. However after closing very tough to get issues taken care of. Over a month after closing waiting for kitchen crown molding. The tiles in the home have different grout colors, uneven tiles, and grout size variations from 1/4 to 1/2 inch which make it look terrible. Sales team was amazing and the construction manager keeps information flowing. However incomplete homes that require much work are being closed on. After closing they were putting bathroom mirrors up!

Love our home. Biggest complaint is the standard finishes we kept and didn't upgrade, Wish the standard paint was better quality. Can't touch the walls without marking them up.

Sales staff are great to work with. Good follow-up / communication. However, build quality when it comes to the minor details could improve. It's the little things that can make/break ones opinion.

Pulte Lender stated we needed to get our application in to LOCK in the good rate . What they didn't tell us was that the rate we locked into was only good for 120 days , yes it took 10 months to build in conclusion our rate went up from 3.25% to 5.75% which our mortgage went up almost 400 dollars in the process. Also at this point what can you do . This type of business left a bad taste in my mouth about pulte lender.

The process was a lot simpler than I would have expected. All post-move issues so far have been fairly minor and easily fixed. The materials, such as the paint are incredibly disappointing because of how hard it is to clean walls without the paint coming off. There were also so annoying upsell choices throughout the process that restricted you just because Pulte decided that's the way it was going to be. Most complaints though are fairly minor.

Saleswoman, Britta, is excellent. Helped us through the process. After that, dealing with the various subcontractors Pulte uses has been bad. Subcontractors next door leave garbage that blows onto our property. Mortgage company, cable tv company two examples. Numerous emails to staff not responded to. Pulte and cable company blamed each other for problems. Some strange design choices. One of our two outdoor water faucets is in the garage. No watering of seeded back yard or river birch trees since being installed. I am watering Pulte's property right now. The Pulte people onsite are working hard to help us, but I think they are shortstaffed. Nobody knows what is going to happen with landscaping on the south side of Josiah. Who is in charge here? ... Having a new home built can be exciting and stressful. Future home owners need to separate the supply chain and work force factors from the team who is on site building a new home. During construction we had changes in subcontractors, as well as, Pulte representatives. The ONE constant Pulte representative for us was Gina. She was there when we signed our papers and supported us when days were uncertain. She was always honest with us and painted a realistic picture of what to expect during the building process. Gina was also there after we closed to celebrate with us. Things go right and things go wrong during the construction of a new home. We had crews that were very professional and some crews that rushed their work. We had a site manager who promised more than he could deliver and then we had unbelievable Pulte representatives that cleaned up the mess that others created.. In the end we had a team that rallied behind us and got us in our home so we could start the next chapter of our lives. We are buying new things for our home and creating a new neighborhood with our new neighbors. I believe that Pulte wants to build a great home for every family that comes to them. When things went wrong eventually a top notch rep stepped in to get the standard of our Pulte home to where it is supposed to be. Those reps were always honest and hard working. Very bad quality Of kitchen cabinets, paints and to much complications on closing.

8/10 for our experience beginning to end.

My experience was good and amazing with the project manager KEN. he was always available, answered every concern and question I had and he helped me a lot. KEN is great asset for PULTE homes.

Overall good experience but could have been more timely. The overall handover was delayed by roughly 4 months.

Very good and timely responses to any issues which home buyer encounter.

During construction they talked about the levels of material to block out noise. Realizing there would be some potential noise I am disappointed from the noise above me. I know this is cookie cutter construction but given there were some options given there were some additional ones that should be included in a 62+ community, such as a bench seat in the shower. The ability to look at the construction on line was not helpful at all. The message never changed and nothing to see. When it is not a single house but a large complex with people moving in from all over, it might be a good idea to provide some information about the area. I am sure if you worked with the city/town they would be willing to put together some brochures or pamphlets of the businesses, town facilities, carpenters, painters, handyman, etc ... Más

Not very responsive to correct defects

As we have been in house for a few weeks now it does seem like the attention to detail is somewhat lacking! Crooked light plates, outlets that didn’t work, stovetop crooked, paint not cleaned up, caulking average You asked for review now you got one

Lots of issues with this new build, and very slow response to fixing the issues. Thought the Pulte brand would signify high quality and dependability. Not seeing that so far.

Too many minor open issues upon completion.

Post repairs slow, incomplete work still open, some warranty repairs needed 6 weeks after closing.

The buying and mortgage part of our experience was good to excellent. Our field manager, Taylor, was helpful and attentive to our concerns during construction. Our problem was that each time we visited the construction site, we found numerous issues with the quality of work. (Concrete, Framing, drywall and tile.) Nearly every phase had several issues that had to be corrected to be anything close to acceptable. One exception was the kitchen. The countertops and cabinets were great and installed correctly. Our punch list was partially completed prior to closing, and warranty services is slowly scheduling the trades to remedy the remaining issues of poor workmanship noted during our walkthrough. We are happy to finally be living in our new home, and we are looking forward to the correction of the outstanding issues. ... Más

I feel like I got a great deal for my house and generally things are fine. However my house was NOT complete when I moved in, my construction manager ghosted me, leaving me to work with the warranty department. Very unprofessional.

Neighborhood and home is super great. There are some kinks to work out with the final finishing details, and we know that will continue to be addressed by all the amazing people working for Pulte.
