We had 2 salespersons. Male then female. The male sold us the home and was rather minsinformed about home options/upgrades and didn't seem to care. He just wanted us to sign the contract and move forward regardless of all the options we could choose. Some of which he either didn't know himself or didn't care to tell us. He was laid off and a female replaced him. She was better. Our first field supervisor was not very hands on nor responsive to get stuff done. He was laid off and replaced. Our replacement field manager was much better in terms of progress on the house. The "trades" they use are sloppy but overall we are pleased with our home. I feel it is a quality home but they could use some finer more attention to detail trades. The 3 star trustworthiness is due to their salesmans lack of knowledge and their first field manager (terribly nice guy) but inability to produce results and multiple lies about fixes that were supposed to have been finished. ... We had some issues in the beginning such as the punch list was not completed by the time we moved in. The person covering for our PM did not follow through except he removed all the tape where we had issues. We are still finding some of those issues now that we had marked to be fixed during our final walk through. Hopefully our warranty will cover it. A mouse was trapped inside the wall and died which started to smell but our PM was responsive and was able to recover the body and an empty water bottle. We wish construction workers were a little neater and took care of their trash better. This comment is not only for Pulte but all home builders. These workers need to remember they are building for others and trash and spillage should be taken care and picked up before putting up sheetrock. They are representing the builder and their don't care attitude reflects in the builder's ratings. Overall the experience with Pulte was good. We love our house. We just wished they had handled the punch list so we're still not dealing with the workers today in addressing them all. We could have also done without the mouse incident since it smelled and we had to continue spraying until the stench went away. ... Más

We had issues that took long to get fixed, like no power on patio outlet due to outlet by A/C units covered by stucco company, holes on wall to find outlet, stucco patches, and paint after. Range hood stop working due to loose wire under range. Tub faucet leaking for two and a half weeks before fixed. Waiting for A/C units to be balanced, too cold in one side of house.

Beautiful home and great experience overall. Disappointed that at move-in home was coated in dirt, cement was cracked, cabinet doors were uneven, cracks in bathroom tile, uneven staircase railing, paint on floors, windows would not l

Our pulte home experience has been a pleasure. Everyone was nice and helpful. With only a very few exception the house itself is of excellent quality.

Overall nice home and location. Paint job is horrid and such a disappointment. Its as if they just gave up when they got to painting.

Some features listed as upgrades could be of better quality (cabinets). Paint coverage could better throughout. Instruction on home amenities such as how do you turn on the fireplace? Should leave paint for owners so they can touch up various paint issues (interior wall and trim and outside wall and trim) so contact with customer service is not only reduced but issues are corrected quicker.

We just moved in and have several things that need to be addressed. I would like to complete this after all items have been addressed through the process. We have noticed several items such as appliance instillation, cabinet finishes, improper grout work and paint overlap that will all need to be addressed before we can complete a full review.

The Pulte houses are well designed thought through houses with sub-par subcontractors. Many walls and tiles are not straight and level, missing small sections of paint, and poor final cleaning prior to closing (construction marks left on some windows and doors). Pulte did respond quickly to any immediate issues.

Our new house is our "forever" home in Babcock Ranch, FL, and we wanted it to be as perfect as possible. The finishing work on the house is sub-par. The interior paint is sub-par - dirt in the finished paint. The "skip coat" finish just doesn't look good. There is grout all over the new tile floor (even after they had someone come in 2 or 3 times to clean it). The windows are off square, making it difficult to hang blinds. Also, the day we officially closed on the house and expected to spend our first night in our house we found that the sewage line had never been hooked up to the street. This left us feeling very distraught, angry, and depressed that we couldn't spend our first night in our new house. It was "inhabitable" with no toilet or water usage. Let me start by saying we love our house. From the inside it is great. For the price paid the outside drainage issues are unexpected and frustrating. Haveing to dig out all the ditches filled with rock and put the gutter run off underground should have been standard. Rock ditches running through the lawn is pathetic. It wouldn't have cost much more to just do it right especially when people are playing 3/4 of a million dollars.

The quality of the package for a Pulte home is well designed with value added bonus systems which make the package of a Pulte home a good buy. The onsite team here in Veramendi are above the bar in excellence and responsiveness.

Beautiful home. Lots of nice touches. Above average workmanship. Need to get a few things fixed soon that should be under warranty.

If you chose Pulte you just need to make sure you check in almost daily. Take pictures of defective or incorrect work for documentation, also take pictures of where your plumbing is in the whole house so it is less likely to hit a pipe down the road. Make sure you check that the options you paid for are actually getting installed.

Our home itself is a nice home and we got it for a great value. Everyone I have worked with at Pulte has been pleasant and usually helpful. There have been issues though: The sliding back door was stiff as can be upon move in, and we had to realign it ourselves. The door to the airlock/laundry room does not fully close unless you give it a good push into position. There's a gap in the grout of our shower. The doorbell rang a couple of times when we first moved in then stopped working completely within a week. Despite reporting it as an issue multiple times, no one has been by to fix it in the month and a half we've been here. Two outlets did not work upon moving in. These were thankfully fixed within the first couple weeks. Ants and other pests were rampant in the yard with plenty of them making their way into our garage. Within the first week I was bleach wiping the area right behind out kitchen trash can due to an incursion by hundreds of ants. It's clear pest control was not a priority in the 6mo or so that the house was sitting on the market. The underwriting team during closing was completely sequestered away from me, and I was left with another individual as my sort of middleman. She was absolutely great to work with as a person, however there was some sort of disconnect either in what the underwriting team was telling her, or what she was interpreting and telling me, that resulted in my closing being delayed by a week despite us starting them process a month prior to closing. The VA had approved my loan but there was a hangup in specific wording of specific documents from the Army and VA that I ended up getting fixed in a day once I fully understood the actual issue they had. This would have been resolved much more quickly if the underwriting team had told me directly exactly what problem they were having, rather than playing telephone or being vague and telling me to just call the VA and figure it out on my own. ... Everything up front has bee great After closing response is slow! Don’t blame it on virus!

I am pleased with the house I had built. Pulte gave a lot of great incentives to use them as a builder. I was overall happy with the process, but there was a lack of communication during the middle of the building process. I feel like they rushed to get my house built by a certain pre-determined date. The final touches were not done as well as I had expected. There were too many houses being built at the same time in my community and towards the end I don't think the builder had enough time to really focus on the finishing touches. Items that should have been taken care of were done in a poor fashion just so we could close on the given date. ... Más

The quality of the home is great. The process was smooth from start to finish. Pulte prides themselves on warranty, in which they have yet to deliver. Everyone that I have chatted with that built with Pulte has the same experience. If you have items that need addressed before you close, do it then or beware it may not get fixed!
