Overall, the experience was fair to good, but there are areas that left us underwhelmed. The team at the sales office was professional, responsive, and friendly. Their genuineness was refreshing and made making the purchase easy. They felt like they were genuinely advocates for us in the process, which was a definite plus. However, the volume of homes being completed simultaneously in our development meant that many items went unnoticed or things occurred that needed to be communicated but were not, which was frustrating. Frequently emails were responded to quickly, but then the action steps needed for resolution required a follow-up email or call on our part to set things in motion. Overall, Pulte uses an effective home-building process, and the people working for them seem genuine and honest. However, because their business is based on the volume of homes they build, you may get a different quality control or attention to detail than you might expect when purchasing a home at this price range. ... New home buyers must watch closely at each stage of the construction and third party inspection is a must. Make sure all issues are fixed before closing if they be ready for months and months of follow up. Slightly over priced so try to get discounts or credits before you close.

Poor after sale service. Not a good experience of buying a house.

Long delay in home completion; we did many BNB's. 3 + Months. Sales and marketing staff, mostly Daniella, are great. Orientation was good. Few defects found in the home. Project requests a problem; designated contact person appeared to be motivated for personal reasons. Repair request was addressed quickly.

It was ok. Could have been better but wasn’t the worse experience.

I purchased the home through online search. Though some aspects of the buying is satisfactory I still felt that Pulte has not lived up to expectations in this community.

We have not moved in yet but so far I've had so many small issues that has not been resolved yet. Workmanship on the carpet installation is terrible. Cabinets and other upgrades are still missing. Communication is obviously missing.

My sales person was great. Same as the upgrade center contact. The builder manager seems to be either overwhelmed or in an another planet (not responsive at all unless you press to talk to his boss). The warranty contact for now has been up to the task

My experience with the title company was difficult and did not meet my needs. From not returning my phone calls to being oblivious to my situation with my Cape Coral home being destroyed and no internet access for their forms. Nor were they flexible with my closing date even though Pulte was not able to assure me the HVAC unit would be in place and operational before it. When several issues were noticed on my walk through I was told they would be handled and to just go ahead and close in less than 24 hrs. Needless to say my issues are not yet fixed and now it is up to me to set dates for workers to reenter my home. ... Más

Really need to work on what trades you hire for your builds…we’ve had big delays from them or no response at all.. Andy has been great and the only thing trying to hold it together. He’s really the only reason for this high of a rating. Started paying for a home that still has issues.

Solid experience overall, difficult time to really compare because of the supply chain issues and other factors out of Pulte control. BUT - the neighborhood currently has so much trash in it due to the construction and workers. I have to clean my yard, DAILY, of multiple pieces of trash.. cans, food wrappers, beer boxes, construction trash, etc. It’s really sad, and makes me disappointed that Pulte does not care for the environment at all.

I had a very good experience thru out the process with a lot of communication. That all ended when I closed. Since then, everyone has disappeared and there is no response to cleaning up the left-over issues. Also had a contractor do some work in my house and damaged my three-week-old refrigerator and again no response. If it wasn't for no customer service after the sale, I would have said Pulte was a good builder.

Everything in this house was rushed and looks like a half done job. Super sloppy work. Even the most basic things were not up to par. At first I was happy but after settling in I’m finding so many things wrong. Very disappointing.

House could have been cleaned up inside and in garage prior to move in. House number fell off and I had to glue back on

I have had considerable issues during the build. Some just normal things that are expected during construction ,and others quite surprising lapses by sub contractors and even planning by land architect or engineer. while I will not list every issue suffice it to say electrical , and HVAC subs were subpar . Two months after closing and we are still working on the punch list. That said, Jack. D., our construction Manager is the sole bright spot in this process. Personable, knowledgeable and available, as well as responsive he has been able to resolve most issues except the fact we can not put our cars in the garage because of the design of the driveway(9ft long) and the radius available to turn into the garage which forces us to drive on the neighbors lawn to park in the garage! Overall ,the home has been well built, thanks to our private inspector who pointed out issues along the way and Jack D. who dealt with them as construction advanced. ... Más

My biggest problem was the metal cover over the sewer drain in front bedroom

Design experience in a digital world should be digital. Not read a PDF with all your options. Should be a digital model of one’s home which allows for an immersive experience to put in options and lighting that gives you transparency in cost and choices vs. a rushed feeling when you get to the design studio. Trades are challenging and carpentry at times are a miss. The way they care for your home should be with more care and awareness of where and how they place things that are already built by other trades.

Poor finishes and no attention to details. Prior to closing home was incomplete, still waiting for Pulte to complete list. Poor response from warranty.

I was surprised at the amount of obvious flaws and poor craftsmanship that we had to continuously point out for repair prior to closing. Bring a level and magnifying glass when doing routine walks or you’ll be stuck with shorty work.

The process of obtaining a mortgage was tedious. There was a lot of back and forth . Even asked for a US currency income whenever my husband was recurving a Canadian currency pension. All they have to do was convert it to US but instead called us several times that it has to be in US. After our closing time and we were supposed to move in, our moving truck has to park outside the house because there was something else they have to fix before it will sign off that whatever they fix is ok. We have pay extra time because of the wait. We had 2 moving trucks waiting to unload our stuff. Constructions workers cars/ trucks remained parked in front when the moving trucks are trying to park. They should clear the area when someone is moving ..We weren’t aware too prior to purchase that we will paying for our garbage service separately. We thought it was included in our HOA fee.. ... Más

In general, I like the house. But I expected a little more quality for the price I’m paying. But that my just be a product of the current overpriced housing market. Also, some of the workmanship, such as on the doors, the cabinets, and shower, could have been better. My experience with Pulte Mortgage nearly soured the whole experience. I would strongly recommend saving every single correspondence email with Pulte Mortgage in case they accuse you of not replying or if they try to offer you something different from their correspondence. The sales team was amazing. Generally the responsive tone of Pulte is great although I will have to re-submit a request after not hearing back from someone for over a week. All in all, I would at best recommend Pulte to others but with reservation. I would not recommend some of the upgrades we got though. ... Más
