The 10 yrs warranty thay they mention at the time of marketing is ONLY for the structural and not for the entire home. Quality of product or workmanship is ok.

Overall the communication during construction was consistent as the construction manager kept me in the loop. However, build quality was lacking as the paint job was poor along with some of the interior finishes, for example, stair railing, door installation, and appliances.

We were pretty disappointed in the condition of the home at close. We found all kinds of issues with the painting and we find more every day. Lots of dings in the wood that were just painted over, a poor paint job overall with many areas were the paint ran down the wall or peeled away where a door was closed with wet paint. So many painting issues that we’ll probably need to repaint the interior ourselves. The garbage disposal didn’t work at move in, cracked areas in the trim, the front door handle missing screws etc. We are really disappointed in the poor attention to detail and the responses to our service requests has been slow. If we could do it over we probably wouldn’t have moved forward with this build. ... Más

The closing dept / title company were incredibly unresponsive to our communications. They gave us 12/30/2021 closing date and did not communicate or respond to any of our communications during the week prior to that date. Nothing - no notice that closing would be delayed. Then on 12/31 they email us and expected us to close immediately. We were very happy with Nathan the project manager who oversaw the construction of our home.

Unfortunately we moved it without things being complete. If we didn’t close we could have been pushed out of our home buying due to the equity in the new build that was so high due to the 13 month build time. We are left with appliances that were not selected, tile that is way uneven, no cabinet door, no screen doors, no grout in the pantry, grout in the kitchen that was stained during build by trades, carpet not secure, door hardware not complete or installed incorrectly, windows that were not cleaned and covered in materials, and the list continues. Waiting on a Michelle to call to start setting up times and dates to get it all corrected at this point. ... Más

There are few issues like Since we chose platinum package we have chosen vinyl but there is a gap between vinyl floor and the door frame. Drive way bricks not properly arranged. Also the closet racks all rusted the day we move in. Still following up for the replacement. Someone came to touch up that's what we need. Garage was not placed properly I see the bolt placed on one side unsupported and door hanged somewhere. Guest restroom water clogged within a week. Title floor filings coming out now itself.

My opinion of Pulte is definitely lower after this experience. So much of the work was such poor quality workmanship. I’ve had clients build with nearly every builder but this was my first experience w Pulte. We were delayed a week on closing and there was really still so much more to be done. We’ve been working through things with warranty and they’re slowly handling things but a nice completed home definitely would have been preferred. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to wait and had to move in.

Unfortunately our experience with Pulte was not the best. We went through 2 field managers Mike and Steve who were not responsive at all and told us the wrong closing date and then ended up moving on from Pulte one right after the other. The good news here is that it brought in Jeremy who has been extremely helpful. We were told many of the things that needed to be completed on the house would be done after closing and to just close and get in and it will be addressed 1 week before and 2 weeks after. However there were many things that needed fixed in our final walkthrough and here we are 3 months moved in and barely anything has been addressed. At this point I am not very confident that the issues will be fixed at all. I feel like we were put at the bottom of the list because we were not constantly griping. In order to get anything done you have to be very persistent and hold their hand. We love our house but the whole experience leaves a lot to be desired. ... Más

It was a first time home buying experience . Overall it was good experience for me but I did not get the home in time until last minute the work was pending .it was just a townhome but pulte did not plan well it took around 10 plus months to get a house which normally takes 4-5 months . Also the quality if the material is not up to the mark being a reputed builder .

The floor plans and value of the home is great, however, I feel like we weren’t updated throughout the home building process and kept in the loop regarding any delays/issues.

Quality of workmanship was poor. I’m still correcting flaws myself. The house was delivered clean. Too much to list.

Did walk thru in November and issue that we had are still not addressed

Very informative. For quality and workmanship, we found electrical issues on ceiling electrical system that always have power for ceiling fans wiring even switch is turn off (it was corrected). No power above the island ceiling electrical lighting & Job request has been submitted to fix. Still awaiting dates on delivery of the fridge unit, bar cooler unit and selected garage door.

Many issues and no one taking the heat for them. Still have items that are not finished and I moved in two months ago. I understand the crazy times, but too many errors were made.

We really wish that we had more time between our celebration walk and final walk through. Only 50% of the items printed out were fixed or addressed. The very final step of the closing was scheduled for November 30. Our appointment was at 11 and we did not close until 5:30 in the evening. There were over 35 closing scheduled for that day alone. Other buyers were also there on the 30th because they couldn’t close on the 29th. Not sure if a Pulte was trying to close by the end of the month figures. But many people were very frustrated. May want to stagger them out more thru out the month.

Issues discovered after moving into unit in November still not addressed in January. sent emails also with no response. I feel one issue is the bedroom widows, Bedroom gets as cold as 60 deg.

While our salesperson and field manager were very nice and pleasant to work with, we were very disappointed in the workmanship on our home. For the price we would have expected a much better job from the trades

One of the worst new home purchases maybe because of Covid-19? I went with Pulte because of the name. We are hoping our Pulte home will be a good one for our Family. Worst thing about this purchase was lack in communication from the builder and feeling pressure for us to meet deadlines Pulte imposed on us.Luckily Nick our contractor smoothed all our worries away helping every step of the way! He was capable, friendly and payed attention to detail. We were also fortunate to have a great team at Pulte mortgage. Sarah and Matt were always polite and professional. They really know their stuff. The design center was awesome too, never felt rushed or pushed into anything. Pulte doesn’t offer a lot of standard upgrades, so it can be very easy to spend a fortune.Our home turned out beautiful with the exceptional help of our design team, Finally , Bridget at PGP title was calm and helpful at such a high stress close. She went out of her way to make sure our signing of documents was simply. Thank you to all of you. As far as Pulte, they lacked in communication with us and the employees. When our closing date was postponed, the sales person nor Nick knew and were eagerly waiting to give us our keys.We were promised August- October closing, but didn’t till December. I felt like they were trying to sell the home out from under us. They had so many demands placed on us to close yet they could say and do whatever they wanted. It was stressful not knowing when to close on our old house. Lack of communication. Once moved in we noticed the agenda was to get the close and not deliver a perfect new home. One example is the garage door. It’s painted 2 different colors and I have to live like that until I have the time to request the paint team to come back. The blinds I paid extra for, had tiny holes in them and our kitchen cabinets, which were upgraded were hung wrong. You can see the dishes through the front cracks. House closed on time.

Post move in issues not resolved in a timely manner ( it’s been 7 weeks). Promises of services for specific day have been no shows on numerous occasions. It would be nice to have our home finished so we boyish complete our move in. Hint - don’t close until everything is complete!

In general it is a good builder, just the final details are the issue, for example: some cabinets were damaged during installation, the kitchen hood, good news is the builder is helping and fixing the issues, really slowly, but they are taking care.

Security issues front porch..no sensors on garage lights outside..no follow up after completion..i.e. outside cleanliness of brick appearance..not working with home owner on what they want..i.e. wanted subfloor laid down underneath hard wood flooring..was not an option even tho we told them we would pay for the subfloor..now subfloor shakes when u walk on it..if I am in the bedroom I can feel the floor shaking if someone is walking in the great room..I feel if someone wants an option and r willing to pay for it why wouldn't it be considered..

There was a general lack of attention to detail in the quality of the houses that resulted in more warranty claims than I expected.

Building a new home during the pandemic was challenging with delays in the delivery date because of supplies. This was understandable but frustrating. The project manager during the build was responsive and provided updates approximately every other week, but as the home was getting closer to completion, the communication was not as timely as I would have expected. Closing dates were changed without informing me; fortunately my mortgage is through Pulte and they were the ones that informed me of the delays. I don't know what the experience would be like if someone had a mortgage with another firm. The overall quality is relatively good, although there are some cutting corners. My fireplace was not installed correctly and there is hardened concrete around some of the pipes and plumbing, and some of the finishing work is sloppy. The front door handle provides no security at all. There is only a deadbolt but the handle itself does not lock and so it forces the homeowner to purchase their own door handle at their expense. The real challenge comes after the closing. Pulte commits to providing responsive customer service and homeowners have access to an online portal to submit their requests for repairs. Unfortunately, requests are merely acknowledged but not addressed in a timely manner. There are several items that were not completed prior to closing and 2 months post-closing, these items remain open. Some are very simple things like providing some extra paint for touch-ups or even just informing the homeowner the make and color of the standard paint so that it can be purchased. These are simple things that should and can be addressed in an email. There are no timeline expectations for repairs and the "on-site" customer service manager seems to be overwhelmed with homeowner requests. It is only when the homeowner makes repeated requests for a repair to be done that someone responds. It seems the focus is on building out the remaining homes in the community, leaving those of us who have already moved in a secondary priority. ... Más

There was a lot of promises to enjoy the buying experience of new home. It sure was not a smooth ride. A constant delay, toaany cooks in the kitchen. I had the run around, Pulte mortgage said that the service mortgage and keep it, it was sold another closing, the house was rushed so the company can close in the last quarter, after closing still things to be fixed. The quality of material is not there, I could not add option even when the item is not installed yet. A lot of complaints from everyone in the community about things are done and Pulte being on the board.
