I had on issue that has not been resolve i had an rv gate install by pulte and the cable guys or who ever thats their cable box installation decided to install it righ were my rv access is at so i talk tp pulte personal but had had no luck getting my problem resolve

Take a home inspector with you before closing

Overall I love my house. The process was a disaster using PULTE’s mortgage company. But the builders were less than responsive. I sent a few emails but never got responses from the builders. The updates along the way from them were non existent. And the design center was the absolute worst. I went with bare minimums due to their lack of professionalism.

The customer service experience was great during the home buying process. Once you've closed and moved in, it's a different story. Prior to moving in, I hired a home inspector to perform an inspection. There were a handful of findings that were claimed to be fixed. The field manager was going to send an email with the pictures showing (roof, attic,) the findings on the home inspection have been fixed. We occupied the property in May. I sent a follow-up email to the field manager and I am yet to receive a response. I understand they are busy but it's almost two months, and yet no response. Since we moved in the AC has stopped working for a couple of days, starting to see cracks on different walls (inside and outside) throughout the house. ... Más

While the initial process was fantastic- we were soon shifted to another sales agent and a CM who was very unresponsive to our requests and issues at the beginning. I had to go above their heads multiple times to try and get things accomplished- This company will NOT share anyone above them with you- so you have to investigate yourself. While our home is beautiful, there are so many small things that really added up. We never really felt like anyone cared much for our concerns til I made a much bigger deal of them than I should have needed to. It is very disheartening to spend that kind of money on a home, only to be met with consistent "no's" unless I supremely pushed. The lack of attention to detail is glaring and can be seen in so many spots in our home. I get they arent custom, but that does not mean that you should take shortcuts to save a buck or a moment. Its obnoxious how many items we needed to clean up after them on, fix after market, and beg them not to do during the process. ... Más

While the individuals (with a couple of notable exceptions) that we dealt with during the home build process were excellent, we experienced multiple delays in closing (four different close dates were scheduled). Even upon closing there were still several issues that needed to be taken care of and we still have a couple outstanding now. While overall the experience kind of what I expected, we were disappointed in the length of time taken to complete the home (over eight months) and the fact that when it closed there were still issues to iron out.

We moved in on 5/12/21 and up to now we have some problems that are not scheduled to be fixed

It would have been great to have a list of recommended vendors to address common things that a new homeowner is likely to need. For example, window treatments, handyman to put up pictures, fans, lights etc.

Frustrated with quality, particularly caulking and sloppiness.

The Good Throughout the entire process, Linda was kind, helpful, responsive, and did everything she could to answer questions and guide us through the process. We had a great experience with her. The home is filled with thoughtful features, a finished crawl space with lights and power, a whole house fan that can cool the entire house down in an hour, plenty of lighting, timer lights on an the outside doors, and great insulation that makes the home stay cool through the heat. The network closet has conduit to pull cable from the street, and is prewired. The electrical is well done and done with care. There are little touches that make it clear the electrician cared about their work. Our builder rep at closing, Daniel, was kind and amazing. He helped us list all our concerns and chased down issues for us. He went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Unfortunately, Daniel left Pulte before all of our issues could be resolved. During the design center we were rushed and our consultant was either unknowledgeable or something else. We were told that if we added anymore network to additional rooms they were required to add an additional 8 port switch beyond the included one, which they wanted 800$ more for. We opted to pull our own cable instead to the last two rooms. On close we discovered there is no switch included at all, the cat5e is just bundled with a tech loop in the cabinet. During our final walkthrough we found many issues with paint over spray, finishing damage, and issues with finish work (cracked base boards, etc ). Some of these issues were resolved before move in. Others we were told to make a list and file with customer support. Our refrigerator was not ready on close and we were told it would be here on May 10, we are now being told June 24, but only because I've been trying to chase down a rep to keep me up to date. Right now we have a cheap fridge that freezes or veggies and can't keep our frozen food cold but produces plenty of frost. We are very thankful we bought our washer and dryer ourselves. Our stove was damaged on delivery so they needed to replace it, no big deal. The replacement showed up on May 10th with no warning while we were both working and in meetings. Our landscaping on the left side was dead on close, but we were assured it would come in within a couple of weeks. Our plants are still dead and we have not heard a response on the issue yet. I dropped a can on the tile from around 2 feet and our tile chipped. The grout comes unsealed, so we spent 4 hours our first night sealing the grout Both Mike's in charge of the build site are very kind when you meet them and seem to genuinely care when you talk in person, but they do not respond to email after the fact. Overall, the home is wonderful with many great features. However, the responsiveness, and finish work is quite poor. ... Más

When we had an outside inspection, we were told this was one of the best construction he has seen.

Overall, the experience was par for the course of new construction. The quality was not great in terms of workmanship and materials.

Zane made the whole experience a great one so did the title company. He was always responsive to texts and willing to help. However, I was delivered a house with some issues, which I believe is unacceptable. When I reached out to Pulte, they had people over within 2 weeks to take care of the issues.

It was frustrating and disheartening to watch, after we had moved in, several homes in the neighborhood be completed, with driveways installed, while we waited. It is apparent to us that Pulte only cared about getting us Closed; after that we were put to the back of line.

Pulte built our home quickly (but not too quickly) and the frame quality was above standard. The final finishing touches required lots of re-work and they were correcting them until our closing day but they were able to get everything done. There were some small things we did not catch but overall, our home is excellent and we are happy with it. There were inconsistencies between what we were told pre-build and then during the building process but you just have to keep checking in and making sure that everyone is on the same page.

The loan office individuals were very helpful and quick to respond. Our project manager Rich did a good Job in keep us updated on the process. Some repairs items could have been prevented if the project manager/customer services manager were given more time to review and walkthrough property prior to pre close walkthrough. The customer services manager has been responsive. The warranty issue process of getting things scheduled or vendors showing up unannounced was a little frustrating and I think could have been improved with coordination or systems on the back end. This is not the Fault of the customer services manager but maybe process that could be improved. Some instances was easier to communicate with the Contractors to get items fixed. Overall experience was not bad. would recommend Pulte but make sure people are aware that you will have to track items after closing and in some cases have people come out multiple times to fix the same issue due to not be able to get another person to come out and fix it same day. Reason for the overall rating of 3 and rating of 3 for Quality of Workmanship & materials is because the sub contractors work should be reviewed more my the project manager and they should be given more time to review the work of the sub contractors for simple craftmanship items. ... Builder offers ideal floor plans while other builders do not. There were limited options to select from which made the selection process that much quicker. Would have liked to have seen attention to detail and follow through on overall product workmanship. Issues with scratched windows and sills, drywall unfinished areas that later were finished, painting blemishes, lack of insulation on second floor bathroom, stained sink hardware and multiple months delay on sod.

Jimmy and Shane were AMAZING! If it was not for them I wouldn’t have anything nice to say. Kelly was my original sales person, the few questions I did have for her which are basic questions i.e. what grade does elementary school go up to, what is the average home bill etc... she had no idea. I originally added a backsplash in my kitchen, she quoted me the wrong price but did honer the price she messed up on. She then emails me a month or so after letting me know that with my countertops not being granite there will be a part that goes up and showed me how it would look. I did not like the way that looked she told me she would see what she could do about upgrading my countertops since again she misinformed me. After several emails asking what the status was on that I found out I had a new sales person. I asked Shawna several times as well what was going on, Shawna told me there was nothing she can do the order had been placed “ but don’t worry once you move in and get settled you can pull that out and replace it and then it will look nice” ( not what I want to hear while I’m building a new home) luckily Shane was able to get that resolved for me and I was refunded my money. Shane was amazing, he was super helpful gave great advice and guided me in the right direction for everything I needed like blinds etc..... Shane was able to answer all the questions Kelly didn’t know and even though I had already bought the house he sold me on this neighborhood. I cannot say enough good things about Jimmy. He is such a lifesaver. He followed up with me every week and kept me in the loop. This is my first home and first time living alone. He went into detail about everything, from the maintenance I need to do on my house once a year, telling me to put locks on the meter on the side of my house, what to use and what not to use on my microwave, stove, dishwasher etc.... I’m so thankful I had Jimmy during this experience, he truly cares and it shows. He called me the morning before I closed to let me know what he was in my house doing a final check before it became my home, and I should be proud of myself being a single mom and being able to do this. Jimmy assured me just because I have closed on my house if I ever need anything to let him know. To this day I still text him and ask him random questions and he is happy to help. It’s nice not feeling like I am just a paycheck to him but he truly has mine and my son‘s best interest. So again if it was not for Jimmy and Shane I wouldn’t have many nice things to say. ... Más

Pulte overall is a good builder, however, when I had brought things to their attention after my house was built, I felt that I did not get very responsive scheduling of these items. I am still following up on work that needs to be completed from my punch list. I had a subcontractor that was scheduled to come to my house to complete work today after I took off just did not show up. I don't blame Pulte directly for this but I do not feel that they should work with such unprofessional contractors. I was not contacted at all and had to call the warranty department to inform them of the no show that now has to be rescheduled again. ... Más

Slow in respond and never gave me the touch up paint.

The house is basically a kit so, the fundamentals are good. But the finishing is poor. Exterior and interior painting is poor. Interior trim is poor. Front door does not fit. Basement window well is littered with construction materials. They cut corners everywhere they can. We have built 3 homes and this is the most expensive and the poorest quality. I have requested things to be fixed and so far nothing.

Great site construction manager 5 stars...the rest of the process was not satisfactory which brings down the overall experience to basically 2.5 stars

Please pay attention to cosmetic issues on the home .
