Not at all happy with the purchase. We like the layout hence we went with it, but the sales agent we worked not at all knowledgeable and we are suffering implications because of it. Also pulte management is not at all flexible on things compared to other major builders. Also the things included in standard price not good , also build quality as well not great as even paint, trim etc are very sensitive

The attention to detail or lack there of really was disappointing. Lots of bumps in the road and still finding the little things that were sloppy in the craftsmanship. You can tell that everything was done with speed not care. Don’t even get me started with the sales representative.

Low quality work

After moving in we noticed the Drywall texturing on our home was extremely bad. You can see lines, holes, defects, and areas that was not finished or sanded, etc. To date, workers have spent 5 days of re-texturing and sanding. And now, 3 days so far, of painting our home and probably another 2 ti 3 days to finish painting Then, they need to send cleaning crew to clean as well as cleaning the air ducts due to ALL the dust that have accumulated. Pulte's Quality control should have caught this issues prior to move.

Warranty service is very slow and sometimes unresponsive. I have to email/ call multiple times for same issue before someone finally gets back to me..

Poor workmanship - absent HOA by developer

Considering that this is a new construction, my expectation was much higher. During the first month, I had reported many issues that have not been addressed in a timely fashion, meaning takes weeks to get things done on warranty. We got a good deal our house, but if you're OCD in any way, don't go with Pulte. The longer I've been here the more I've noticed how the air vents, lights, outlets, etc. are not lined up with each other which is shocking. The trim board is literally cardboard and doesn't seem of high quality. Also, we had an issue with a door handle not working within the first 30 days. The builder just dropped the parts off at our door for us to fix it ourselves. He didn't ring the doorbell or anything. That was also shocking to me.

Cut Corners and Misinformation

I was so excited to build my second brand new home. We went with Pulte this time because we thought their reputation was good. There were a lot of corners cut. The first minor but major thing is the paint they use. I have never seen paint so cheap and thin in my life. My last builder used flat paint but it was a decent grade. Beautiful Home - Dishonest Sales Team

Buyer Beware! If you ever purchase a model home make sure the price you are paying is for a house that is "as is". We bought a model home in Vista Bella in San Antonio, TX and the builder did their best to avoid bringing the home up to new home specifications. Although the new home contract said the home included window screens, during the last days prior to closing they stated they couldn't and wouldn't be including window screens. Because we were ready to move into our new home we signed and addendum, however it still wasn't professional to decline to include window screens with a home. ...

Needs review on third party workmanship

I had no structural observation yet that concerns me at this time. But quality of cabinets with fixtures on them, flooring , sliding patio door and windows are all having issues and does not meet the standards of new construction. In most cases they are contracted to external companies and I don’t see they did a decent job at my place. It’s been couple of weeks since I raised it with no action yet.

While workmanship is decent, numerous issue around the subdivision including ingress/egress issues and drainage issues. Columbus staff has not been responsive except with generic vague responses nor seem trustworthy at this point.

Over-priced for what you get

In comparison to a custom home builder the quality of our Pulte home is poor. Walls aren't straight, tile is crooked, windows aren't level, and paint work is lousy. Perhaps all production builders have the same bad quality, but for this pricetag you should be able to expect better workmanship! I won't buy another Pulte house!

Not a great experience

We do not have any issues with our sales consultant. The issue is in the quality of the materials used and the workmanship. We are also having a difficult time in getting Pulte to respond to repairs that are required. I would recommend that you tour a completed home prior to committing and do not use the models as your guide for materials and workmanship.

This was a fail. The buying experience was not what we expected. The option prices at the design center were 25-30% higher than the options price sheet from the sales office. This was very disaappointing considering the price sheet was printed 5 weeks before our appointment with the design center. We had to scramble to revise most of our carefully pre-selected options on the spot as each one was itemized for us. We can tell this didn’t bode well with the consultant who looked irked from the start. Post sale experience is regrettable too. Good luck with trying to contact the warranty center. ...

Pretty sure I would not build with Pulte again. It was nothing like the last two houses I had built. The process was not very smooth and the quality of some of the workmanship was lacking. I would go into more detail, but it would take too long.

There were a few items that should be included in a house. A garage door opener, pulls on cabinets, and vents in the toilets. You all really seem to step over dollars to save pennies. If I would of known the above along with the fact that you were not willing at all to help with changes on a house that was not sheet rocked is very disappointing. Would not recommend you all or buy another home from you.

Have a lawyer ready

We moved in to a house with the outside property still under construction. We are extremely disappointed with the execution of the construction. The repairs to the outside promised were not done. The lawn has been a disaster waiting for, and the property is littered with rocks. Molding is not caulked and Pulte is now trying to direct us to put all the issues into warrantee.

I wanted to say that everything was great that we bought an amazing home, but its been almost 2 months since we closed and we still have issues that have not been fixed. We bought a spec home and started the process in April. After a couple walk throughs we were supposed to have issues fixed. Many of them are still pending going into July. The sales agent didn't know how to communicate, often times never responding to questions. We had the foreman who was getting things done for us on punchlist items, only to get laid off leaving us waiting with someone else who is slow and unresponsive ...

We still haven't had our 30 day walk through where we do have areas of concern. There will always be doubt due to how the buying and follow up processes have been executed. This probably will fall on death ears.

Double and triple check every detail during your walkthrus especially concerning electiical work. You may be told prior to purchase that your townhouse will look exactly like the models. It won't. Models have pavers and wrought iron railings. The entrance walkways to townhouses have concrete walkways and very few have wrought iron railings

Lack of attention to details in the build process.

If I had not stopped at the construction site every week, many things would not have been fixed until it was too late. Plumbing in the wrong place. Air conditioner pad in the wrong place. Electrical disconnect and service outlet for A/C in the wrong place. Contractors smoking in the house. Shower stall glass in master bathroom not caulked. Garage door controls on garage wall reverised. Screen for patio door bad, still waiting after a month and half to be replaced and installed. Base trim cut wrong but installed anyway. Hallway wall by third bedroom not plumb...

After closing I came home to my kids bathroom destroyed because the marble guys didn’t coordinate with construction, also everything that was written down before the final walk-through was not fixed, I still have over 15 issues they have not been fixed and it’s been two months since I closed

Poor workmanship

Very well designed and functional. The only thing is that the workmanship is very poorly done, not professional workers. The paint inside is horrible, spot missing on wall, paint on the rugs, doors are so rough you can’t wash them. The grass was put on top of the sprinklers we had to dig them out. We spoke with neighbors in the community and they told us they had similar problems. For the price of these home I expected more quality work done.
