My family closed on our new home on 3/24. We were forced to close on an incomplete home because we were told that it would be ready, closing was scheduled, therefore we ended our former accommodation. We showed up to the walkthrough a few days prior to closing to find a house that was nowhere near finished. Craftsmanship leaves much to be desired. The Pulte closing team do not communicate with their own project managers or homeowners. Lived here for two months and my cabinets are not finished, missing slider door screen, unable to open windows because all the screens sag, hole in the ceiling, cracks in the stucco, grout needs to be finished, unable to plug in dryer because the drywall was over the outlet, etc. when we brought this to Pultes attention we were told to go through warranty! What?! This isn’t a warranty issue things are missing and never even were completed!

Really not happy with the awful conditions of the front and the back yards of my new build house since we closed in March . We still don’t have any sods in front and any seeds in the back, landscaping never got done for 2 months since we closed. The front yard is still full of mud, trash, black plastic bags, water retainer bag, plastic bottle full of pee, big rocks, gravels and dirts from when the house was being built!! New home buyers should thoroughly inspect their new home before closing. Once you close, and there are issues with the home, you than have to rely on the pulte warranty department to get the needed repairs fix and it will be a process!!

Where as we love our new home layout, we are very disappointed with the process and quality of materials. The standard finishes are embarrassingly cheap. When you walk through the models you are tempted to mimic what you see but doing so will cost you many 10’s of thousands more. The sales and construction crew made many promises they were not able to deliver and left a terrible taste in my mouth.

Honestly if I was the one that came and look at the home I would not have purchased it. The first day I own the house there has been a lot of problems that has still not been fixed I have here for 4 weeks and still have all the same problems. The location was very desirable, but the Quality was not. Expectations for a nearly $400K unit were simply NOT met. The upgrades which were nearly $50K, were done with very little attention to Quality. My expectations for a new build were similar to purchasing a new car, yet this Pulte Townhome offered very little of that. Poor quality was evident in the painting, caulking, trim work. Honestly we had purchased a home from Centex several years ago and had no issues. We loved it and loved the whole building process. One word to say about pulte is “Worst”. Right from the beginning of home contract signing nothing went according to the plan. Delivery date got pushed 4 times without any prior notice. I was literally homeless for almost 23 days staying in hotels and friends place due to Pultes last minute date push. No compensation was provided with all these issues. My experience with Pulte to date. My wife and I arrived late Friday at our new house only to discover the keys provided did not open any locks. (great quality control) The woman in the sales office helped us gain access via the garage, luckily the code was not changed. She then used her master key to unlock the front door. Finished our home on the agreed amount time. The quality of our home is very poor. Zero supervision of workers and now we’re trying to play catch up to fix our patchwork house. Every time we turn around there’s something else that was done poor or incorrectly. Wouldn’t purchase this home if I could go back in time.

Buyer beware prior to close. Workmanship is cheap and they say they will fix it before close and they don’t. They say submit work request and nobody responds back. I was give Michael Suich number and you can’t leave a voicemail and he doesn’t return emails. Not satisfied at all. Buy anywhere else but a pulte home. I never had issues when I bought my house with Mattamy.

I received the house out of necessity, terrible finishes, and worse guarantees very poor quality in the finishes did not deliver the things agreed in the contract very bad experience in general. 2 months after receiving I am still waiting for them to come and fix many things in the house.

Our overall build process was honestly a nightmare. We had such high hopes knowing friends who have built with Pulte and were so happy, but our experience was quite different. If we weren't on top of things every step of the way, not really sure how the outcome would be. The quality was not there. Time frames were not met. Just a month and the floors and separating, floors creaking, lame response from the construction manager when asked about any issues. The backsplash is totally unprofessional. Just splashed some grout and tiles. Looks super ugly. Cabinet doors falling apart. Noisy exhausts. Overall not at all impressed with the quality of the build. Then, the initial interest rate offer was 7.75%. We went with another lender for 5.25%. Then, the wood for our home sat in the rain for months and then got mold. By far one of the worst experiences of home building we've ever dealt with. We've been in our home for just shy of 8 weeks & we currently have 40 work order tickets submitted for issues in our home. The quality is beyond poor !! And next week, movers are coming to remove everything from our 2nd floor due to subfloor issues which we report MONTHS before closing. The experience has sucked every ounce of joy from us. We will never recommend Pulte. We just want all of our issues resolved so we can live in a home we are paying a fortune for. The house has many issues. We contacted the builder, but no response. We brought the couple of houses from other builders. They were somehow good to bearable. The Pulte is the worst and not following through the issues. I am very dissatisfied. I will never recommend Pulte to get the dream house.

The experience could have been better, with multiple delays, very very very poor communication from sales associates and construction managers. When we finally got into our house, we noticed multiple things wrong with it. Some of the cabinets were broken when we moved in. We were promised they would get fixed soon after moving in. However, we have lived in our home for over a month and still need an eta of when they will get fixed. Very disappointed with the process and professionalism with every step of the way.
