Water, water everywhere.

We have water leaking from our bathroom into our main floor, we have a sink hole in our front yard due to a suspected sewage leak, we have water coming through or basement ceiling from the HVAC system, we have water damage in our family room from a roof leak and this is just the water problems. We have electrical problems, smarthome system that was wired incorrectly, and subfloor8ng issues.

HORRIBLE QUALITY AND DENIES WARRANTY CLAIMS

I purchased a brand new home from Pulte in April 2025. Just two months later, the inner pane of our double-glazed sliding glass door spontaneously shattered—with absolutely no sign of impact, misuse, or damage to the exterior pane. This is a textbook example of a stress fracture or material defect, which is supposed to be covered under Pulte’s 1-year limited warranty (per their own performance standards under section 10.5 for cracked windows and stress cracks). A properly manufactured and well installed door SHOULD NOT spontaneously crack within 2 months. It’s the right door that is fixed ...

Buyer beware: Does not build to code or honor warranty

Have mold after 1 month in basement as it was never built properly. Flag at inspection and during build, was never resolved although promised it would be. Warranty denied for “underground spring” - you are not allowed to build on underground springs and nobody checked or proved that. They just dont want to honor their warranty for poor not up to code build.

The sales rep, mortgage process and final product all missed the mark for me. Expectations were set too high and the team failed to meet them at every step. The sales rep provided information that was misleading, the mortgage team provided quotes/offers that any other bank could easily beat (even though you are led to believe Pulte will beat any offer). And the final product is far from perfect (which for being a new construction, I expected it to be perfect). Worst home built ever

This is the worst craftsmanship I ever seen, from the walls, floors, Ctop, cabinets and much more. I closed around 5/12 and I still have issues with my cabinets not being completed. Also Workers using my electricity and water, like there’s no supervision for them so they do as pleased. I would never recommend this builder to anyone. Worst experience ever!!!

Pulte was reactive rather than proactive regarding problems. Pulte contracts with Arqai for smart homes, and Arqai is not a good company. When I reached out to Pulte to address concerns, there was no respone. Crickets. I would never buy from Pulte again.

Still have the same issues

I have called multiple times to fix the sink. Because it has a leak. They have came twice to fix it and the same leak still continues. I also called for chipped tiles, no one has called me back. Almost as if I never called. The ac has some kind of shortage in one room, where the ac doesn’t hit the same as the entire house. When I first moved no ac was hitting that room, someone came to fix it, and they got the ac to get to the room but it’s not as strong as the rest of the house. Pulte homes are not cheap homes I would expect better quality of work and better treatment.

Lots of promise, poor delivery

Pulte does a rush job. Everything from the installation of the doors to the paint job to the construction of the walls was clearly done in a haphazard fashion showing a lack of care. Even the toilet they installed had a crack in the basin. Whenever an issue arises, I have to play email and telephone tag to get any kind of response. And then, there’s a lot of gaslighting about whether or not the issue I present is truly a problem. Don’t buy Pulte.

Absolutely HORRIBLE workmanship. Building the house was a nightmare, my floor plan was messed up multiple times, my items that were installed were incorrect multiple times, the paint is cheap, the walls were not all the way sanded down, the work looks cheap and there are multiple things that still need to be fixed including the leaking pipes. Would love to share pictures if you give me a link to upload. Not worth the 1.2 million dollars and would not recommend to anyone I know.

Last minute change in closing costs to offering incentives to investors at 5.75 but making the investors that trusted the brand to pay for points at 6.5-6.75 rate is insane. Lost my trust in pulte . Never felt stressed in buying a home with any other builder like how I felt on this home. Prices do go up and down but if an incentive of interest rate1% less than what you offer to new investors to investors who have not closed, ethically what you did by not matching the rates is absolutely wrong

Please thoroughly review the design diagram, specifications, and dimensions of everything in your home. It will be a large document, but it's important to take the time to go through it carefully. Here are a few issues I personally encountered that you might want to watch out for: No electrical outlet in the gathering room for a TV – this was missed in my case. Bathtub size – the standard tub provided was smaller than expected. Make sure to confirm and request a regular-sized one if needed. this is the worst builder I ever bought from!!!
