The sales people were great! ! Seems like Pulte was doing the bare minimum to close on the house and promising to fix items that were missed. If you didn’t catch any problem on the walk through, they say it’s not covered. The quality of the finish work on walls and woodwork are not good. No accountability!

Use your own financing, not Pulte. They want you to close before everything is completed. Have someone experienced do your punch-out and don’t close before everything meets your expectations.

I purchased new home from Pulte in Georgia. I heard from my real estate agent that they were good builder. On the closing day, house was incomplete. Some of lights and plugs were not working. Doors were not closing. Some door handles were placed wrong way. Exposed insulation around door and window frame. Strips in new window fell off. Floor, carpets were not cleaned. Stains on floor, door handles. They had to reinstall tiles in all bathroom for some reason. That caused damage to door edges. Stairway was never polished. These are few things to mention. This gives an experience of buying a used home. They have good warranty on paper, if they fix the things. More than a month after closing, we are still awaiting to get things fixed we have complained about. ... Más

Do your homework. Pay attention. Ask questions. Don't expect honesty, demand it. Follow up if something is not correct. Elevate issues immediately. Give yourself at least 30 days to be in your new home prior to providing a home builder rating.

The homesites are very dirty with garbage strewn all over the lots. Large amounts Roofing nails and other types of materials strewn across lots. Chicken bones, beer cans and other food materials left in house EVEN AFTER ASKING TO HAVE REMOVED AND KEPT CLEAN. Workers used our toilets instead of the porta johns. A very mismanaged site and overall lack of supervision. Other buyers should beware that the quality is lacking and Pulte is very good at saying no first and then sometimes accommodating your needs. After moving in the ongoing construction workers are very rude and unsafe and have access to our community 24/7. Pulte thinks that they have all the answers already and maybe need a little self reflection to make their company closer to what they want to portray. despair it and replace. it this makes the third time they have been here. two tones of brushed nickel. on shower glass frame. out of fairness they have a great process but it currently broke with the issues they currrently have with subcontractors and vendors.

Can be a 1000 times better communication is the key to success

The build seemed rushed and hindered quality. Still have issues to be addressed and response is poor.

I have had worker throw their trash on the ground across from where I live and not picking up after themselves which in turn blows into my yard. I’ve been filling up my own container full of energy drink cans, fast food wrappers and plastic foom. This probably sounds minimal but is turning into a everyday occurrence. What do you think that conveys to new buyers when the new house across the street is covered in trash from the workers. We like the house but you need to do better.

The builder had limited options for upgrades and even then the upgrades were pretty expensive. The quality of the work done while building the house wasn’t great at all. I don’t know if they were so short on labor that they just hired whoever to do the work, but the workers sure didn’t care about the quality of the work they did. Most of our 1st floor had to be repainted because they rushed through it. We already have a plumbing issue on the 1st floor and they yet have to send someone out. Overall not a good experience for the money paid.

Our general contractor was great on trying to get things done with the backlog of materials being done, but some of the trades were not as quality in their work ethics as they should have been. Trying to get issues (minor or major) resolved has been challenging once you go to settlement.

There are good things about this home but too many little problems and some bigger ones. Hardwood floors had a lot of glue on them, island outlets had no electricity for a month, overflow in bathroom tub was not installed correctly so water flooded, paint was on floors from touch up etc. Chips in doors, tile cracked

We recently bought a new Pulte Townhome in Oak Tree in Oakland Park FL. There was the usual delays as expected with new construction. We are happy with the finished product. But buyer beware, there is virtually no sound proofing between the units. I have buyers remorse. We can hear our neighbors TV and hear them talk (mumble). Thankful we at least have an end unit. This is unacceptable. This is my 8th townhome and I never had this issue anywhere I have lived. I feel like I'm living in a 500k apartment. It's heart breaking.

Pulte builder sells itself as one step above the other builders. I've worked with 3 builders in the last 8 years and Pulte is barely as good as the other builders. I've found that their people only care about one thing: Reviews. I didn't appreciate how many times they mentioned it. Due to covid circumstances, our house closing was delayed by a total of 5 months, which I don't hold them accountable to. It's what it is. The house itself is well built, nothing special compared to meritage homes for example. Some of the materials used and insulation, wasn't as good as meritage's for example. After closing, when we had issues with the house, the warranty service (now that all surveys have been filled) have been terrible. The worst experience with any builder I dealt with in the past. ... Be aware of options you pick. You have to pay extra for almost everything to get a decent home. The walk through was a joke. Also they do not hire skilled people (probably because of Covid) I have been here two months and still have issues, especially my daughters home next door. Floor plan is nice. I cannot write a great review when there was so many issues after moving in.

The sales and builder was good. Problem occurred after we moved in. Our builder has done everything right, but we have several things that need to be fixed and the contractors that need to fix them either don't show up or they never have the right products when they arrive. It's a 4 hour window they can arrive. So it's either ruining my morning or afternoon by sitting at my house. Just getting very annoying. I feel bad for our builder because he has done everything right. It's the people Pulte has chosen to do the work.

Everything about this experience was, “just ok.” This is not to take away from any of the persons involved in the process. We never had a bad experience with a single person involved in this transaction. However, from the choices in the design center to truly shoddy work throughout the home. There is still a hole in the concrete near the foundation of our home. There are patches of compound that were not properly sanded or painted over. Nails sticking out of cabinets and floor boards that we can easily snag ourselves with. For the amount of money paid to this company, I would expect far more attention to detail and craftsmanship. In no uncertain terms, I would never recommend buying a Pulte home. I feel bad for your employees—they have customer service down! The process was good from the sales(Chip was great), design(Don't remember the lady's name but she was great), and build(Blake was good). Unfortunately due to us having COVID we were unable to do our walk-through so there are a few things not done. Now the home is done and we have been waiting approximately 57 days for a short list to get fixed. I have taken time off of work twice to meet the warranty guy and contractors at the house. He has been a no show twice...and miraculously the four or five contractors that were schedule also couldn't make it. I am supposed to meet him today on my day off...and have texted him twice with no response. Unprofessional, extremely inconvenient for my family, and simply uncalled for. Not Happy with warranty. ... More attention to detail and quality, ownership of as much of the end to end process as possible rather than blaming "trades" and other departments for issues.

This is our second Pulte home we have owned over the past 5 years. The first one went great During the beginning of our home buying/building it went fabulous. During the middle and end was a different story. We knew about delays and could understand that. Unfortunately, Pulte didn’t have any quality control when it came time for the finished product. We have an upgrade kitchen that has damaged cabinets and rushed backsplash. The backsplash has two different color grouts and tiles sticking out after repair was made before closing. Our master bathroom has a large walk-in shower that has two different color grouts, marble bench that isn’t straight, and tiles that aren’t laid correctly. ( this was done the day before closing). We had numerous issues with the finished product from the painters.We are still waiting for the punch list to be done. Our building manager did involve her upper management but we are still waiting. When asked about getting the items listed done before closing the response was “it’s a warranty issue”. We have lived in our new home for 7 weeks and we still have no game plan on our kitchen and master shower. I wouldn’t recommend Pulte to friends or family. ... Más

We did our walkthrough with the project manager. Marked many things. Things that should’ve been an issue frankly. Project manager also didn’t take very good notes. Upon move in, many of those things marked were still incomplete. We continue to find things wrong. Outlets not working, grout work bad, light switches uneven, dead/dying plants (irrigation was turned off for repairs, but not reactivated in time to prevent plant damage)… Project manager has been slow or completely unresponsive. Now we find he’s been terminated from Pulte. Our home is far from “model quality “

Our home was 6 weeks delayed which was very hard since we were moving out of state and had sold our old home 4 weeks prior to closing. We've been in the house for over a month and punch list items are still not completed. The day we closed we came to a home that was full of workers, no supervisor and no deadline. The walls were still being painted 3 days after closing. We were unable to fully move in and settle which with 2 children and pets and working from home situation while coming from out of state was a nightmare. Very dissapointed.
