Extremely disappointed in our experience here at Pulte. We purchased our home 2+ months ago and still have yet to get dates of when the punch list items will be finished. Very unacceptable as I as a customer have to follow up weekly when we have our first baby on the way due January. Electrical wasn’t hooked up in our overflow tank outside whatsoever - plumber actually caught it when he was snaking all of the construction debris that was carelessly pushed down our pipes in our master bath and we couldn’t our toilet and shower for days. He says he’s seen both things in numerous houses on the street. Light switches allllll over the home are completely backwards which again shows carelessness and lack of review. Electrical wasn’t hooked up or run through the wall whatsoever in our fireplace. Looks like we get a remote now so we can even use it. Multiple closet doors had water damage all along the bottom and are just finally getting painted two months later. Our yard and considerably caving in from erosion which is concerning with the driveway, especially the 5 foot drop once you step out of your vehicle and we have a baby coming in January. This is a hazard and our concerns done seem to be cared for. We have also yet to have recycling come more than twice which is extremely disappointing. I’ve called several times and they will not come. Can we also explain the lack of storage? We were told it was a “design flaw” in not taking advantage of the space under the stairs. Also why is there a random bump out in the office that eats into the front porch and doesn’t allow sidelights to be put in next to the doors? Are these things not considered for homeowners? I’m Very disappointed in this company’s craftsmanship as well as leadership as we heavily overpaid and if we had known the quality was at this level (could go in with other items but I will save you time), we would have thought twice on purchasing. Poor sub standard quality of work. Very poor service. Pulte lost its credibility by charging massively for a piece of cardboard house. There are nails comming from all over the carpet area. Walls are so week that a 3 year old can break it. Try to drill a nail on the wall it keeps going In and drops inside. Ceiling lights are not alligned all the lights looks like it's an abstract art. And even after raising the concern no response. PULTE IS NOT TRUST WORTHY AND NOT APPROACHABLE. AND CHARGES YOU TRIPLE FOR POOR QUALITY HOMES.

I was very disappointed in the sloppiness during the construction process with paint and drywall materials found on many finishes and resulted in the need for steam cleaning. There seemed to be a rush to complete the home which was behind scheduled and definitely a trade off between quality and speed. The CM seems over stretched and able to focus as there were too many houses to manage. Overall it was a very average experience and so far a very below average experience with after closing service for issues requested in Pulte Owner's Entry portal.

I wasn’t allowed to make my own selections for floors, tiles, cabinets etc. Kind of took the fun out of buying new. The windows are poor quality and some don’t latch/lock. They did not paint the interior of my garage and it looks really ugly when the garage is open. They need to start installing frameless showers and crown molding for homes over 700k price point.

LaShay the sales rep for the community, was awesome. She is the sweetest and helps as much as she can. She always responds swiftly to your question and concerns. The mortgage process was extremely easy. We purchased our home at the end of the building process, so all our finishes and colors were picked before we came into the picture. We did get to do a final walk thru before we closed. We asked for some items to be addressed and fixed before hand and most of them were. Once we closed, it was a different story. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best we would give the craftsmanship of this house a -1. We have joked that the drywall, painting and trim were done by kindergartners at best. We took off work several times to meet with subcontractors to address the issues, and many times they would no call no show. We have fixed issues on our own because we no longer trusted them nor did we want them in our home. We advise homebuyers to hire your own inspector and do NOT close on your home until all issues are addressed. ... Más

Thought we were going to get a quality home and instead we got a used house that we've been fixing ever since we moved in.(it's new construction bit doesn't feel like it it) The construction manager Mike was NOT helpful at getting things resolved prior to us moving is even though he was informed of all the issues. DO NOT expect great things if you go with Pulte.

We were excited to enter into contract with Pulte on our new home back in July 2021. The interaction with the sales team through the majority if the process was excellent. Tara was pleasant to work with in terms selecting our floorplan and upgrades. She communicated extremely well with us and we were grateful for her services. On the other hand, our experience with the construction team was poor. We had 4-5 different construction managers along the way thay didn’t provide us with the best communication. We never felt a great connection with any of the construction managers, we actually felt as if we were being passed around without any consideration of our experience. It took over a year to complete our home, after we were told it would only be 9 months. We were very involved with our home project from start to finish, we visited the site 2-3 times a month to witness the progress. While slow at times, we did notify sales/construction of issues we noticed on the quality/workmanship of the home as is progessed. We were reminded various times that all the quality issues on the home would be addressed 1 week prior to closing. We were also assured that ALL the quality issues we highlighted would definitley be resolved before we closed. I was always skeptical as I witnessed the slow progress of the home being built. None the less, I put faith into Pulte to resolve all the quality issues before we closed. With that said, we closed on our new home in August 2022. We were disaappointed that the quality issues were not fully addressed prior to closing, as we were continuosly assured. As of 10/05, as I provide this review, we are living in the house and are still having to put for effort to have Pulte resolve the quality issues in our jew home. It is quite disappointing to have a brand new home, with all new construction and upgrades that we selected along the way, just to witness the lack of quality that Pulte sold us on in the begining as being their top priority with their customers. Since we moved in, my wife and I have not been able to shower in our upgraded spa shower that we paid for. Not one shower! This is extremely frustarting and downright unacceptable. There remain multiple issues with our Spa Shower and Master Bathroom as a whole. Not to mention they other issues throughout the house that have yet to be addressed. The communication is lacking with addressing these issues and confusion seems to be an overwhelming sense amongst your Pulte team members and trades we have been dealing with. I have lost just about all faith and confidence in Pulte to provide us with good communication, a sense or urgency to address our concerns, or to even a quality product! Our experience began with excitement and joy, but has quickly deteriorated, which is unfortunate. We are happy to be residents in the Santa Rita Ranch community, but are extremely disappointed with the Pulte experience regarding Quality, Workmanship and Communication. ... Más

Pulte employees need to have better communication with clients and management isn't the best.

Poor response from build manager. Lot of finishing issues and unanswered in walkthrough. Quality is not as promised.

This is mine third time buying a home and by far was the worst experience as far as quality of work

The one year process was very long due but I understood due to inflation. However we got our keys and the foremen guys Tracey and the trainer were pushing us to sign that they took care of things that weren't complete. Tracey brought me the wrong keys to my home, I did not feel comfortable I was scared ppl still had access to my home. I move in and since walk through I felt it was extremely hot downstairs but Tracey and the trainer said "oh it's fine blah blah blah" and turned out the day we move in I noticed the air was definitely not working downstairs. How do "experienced men" not know if an a/c is working on not when I know nothing about construction and know when something is obviously not working. They made me sign the documents with lots of half butt things done. Broken cabinets, disgusting tiles, broken vent fan in the bathroom, cracked ceiling, all my doors are all ruined due to these careless workers painting the doors and closing them now the paint is falling off and it made my doors look all ugly. It is embarrassing to show my home to friends and family with a bad job done. Now let's talk about the person we have to go to about reporting things, she is calling me crazy and making me feel like I am crazy when we waited a whole year for this home and above all We paid thousands of dollars for a home that is supposed to be"new". ... I had many issues still not resolved. My shower door has gaps that allow water to come outside of the shower. They gave me a rusted water heater. Tiles were chipped and grouting not completed. A screen door on the patio was never installed. Stove keeps going out. I think the experience would be better if these issues were resolved before we moved in.

I recently moved into my Pulte Townhome. For the price I paid I was VERY disappointed with the quality of the workmanship. Pulte is more concerned about putting up homes quickly rather than the quality of the home. Here are just some examples- 2 bedrooms wired wrong tripping breaker, tacks not nailed down in carpeted areas hence pricking bottom of feet when walking on, garage door broke after 2 wks Bc it was installed improperly, sloppy trim work, worst painting job I’ve ever seen where painter totally missed doors and trim and on trim painted over drywall dust and bits of dry mudding instead of wiping it off or removing it, AC vents, thermostat and cold air return mounted crooked. And the worst example - plumber installed toilet in powder room incorrectly. Instead of tank bring just a couple inches from wall it was like 8-10 inches. I literally could fit through the space. The sales team did their part and got me everything I wanted in the new home, but that’s where the positive experience ended. After closing expect little support, your loan to be sold, and for them to pull your credit again. My loan was transferred to M&T within two month and when Pulte no longer serviced my loan they pulled my credit again. When I asked them about it, they said it was for an audit and I gave them the authorization during closing. This was a lie. They could not provide proof of the document that authorized the pull and after three weeks, no one has an idea who or why it was pulled. My credit took a significant hit because of this and I’m furious because the credit bureau won’t lift it. ... Más

Home has multiple issues that still have not been corrected. Multiple people will call and be in touch but work still has not got done. Def not worth the price that was paid. Completely unsatisfied at this pointe and very disappointed.

Extremely disappointed in the quality of product and workmanship in my home. For the price I paid, the lack of care and concern by Pulte's subcontractors is very disturbing. I was told there are 2 walk-throughs completed by Pulte prior to my final walk-through. There was absolutely NO way this was done in my home. And if so, then I guess shoddy workmanship is acceptable within your corporation. There are issues that I addressed long before closing that were not addressed and still haven't been addressed. I've been in my home now for close to 2 months. Pulte's motto appears to be 'pass the buck'. I can honestly say, I would not recommend Pulte to anyone. ... Más

Very disappointed with the quality and materials

We were sold a walkout basement option on our home at the Cottages. We cannot walkout on our lot as it slopes on a 45 degree angle. A flat patio is not workable without a retaining wall. This $20k option was sold to us with no one reviewing the plot plan or explaining the lot grade issue. Why would a builder sell a walkout basement that you cannot walk out on to? The grading was completed one day prior to close, and we were expressed our outrage to the construction manager- We are in a holding pattern with the VP Tim to see if we can get some resolution to the issue. Other that this critical expensive issue, we have 30 items that remain on our punch list, one month after close. everything from the wrong front door, missing shelves in the linen closet, gouges in the bathtub from workmen's tools, vanity lights not centered over the sinks, sawdust in the kitchen cabinets, extra hose bib not located where we identified, patio light at eye level, soft close cabinet that does not soft close, cracked cement in front, dead plants one month after close....I cannot go through them all but you get the idea. General sloppiness on the side of the sales person, Corey - just dropped the ball on the options ordered, and paid for- while we wait for delivery and corrections. Construction manager Ryan is doing clean up on some issues where he can, but also manages 60 other projects. We appreciate the effort of the VP Tim in helping us and hearing our issues- but on a $600k house you would not expect such ineptitude....I dont know how we could be more flexible in taking substitute appliances and closing on a home with so many issues. There is absolutely " no white glove policy" with our experience. Not even a grey glove. If prices this high can be charged- the product delivered sure isn't equivalent. Awaiting a followup call from Pulte customer care to share our experience with them. But have reviewed with VP Tim in detail with photos. ... Más

Very poor quality of work in the house so many things are missing ..There was water falling from the gathering room when i entered in my house after closing on first day with my family and my luggage..its been almost 1month to staying at my house still i don’t have electricity in my two bedrooms..so many things are there ,that should not be like that.Garage work has issue there is big hole in garage and big crackes also there ,not finishing well as well .A.c roof vent was missing so started blowing out packing from the roof ..its been up two weeks but no-one still coming for fix it . back yard is also not as it should be..There are big yellow patches are there and it was before the closing .we informed our contractor to fixed that but till today we didn’t here anything from them..As a new home buyer i am expecting to perfect everything after spending this much money but since i came to my house everyday i have to spend a lot of time for placing work orders and following work orders and some days..so Long story in short there are plenty of things As new homebuyer with Pulte (respectable construction company) never expected .. ... Quality of home is not very good. And to think Pulte prides in quality. Very very disappointed. Would have looked at other builders had we known. When issues come about, they take long to respond.

I would not close until all work is done The cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Floors have everything from glue to hardened masonry bits and stains that cannot be removed,

Pulte Homes does not do what they say they will. Sales Staff (Mark) is dishonest and not transparent about lot release dates, pricing or timelines. The Construction Staff (Robbie) deflects and places the blame on the sub-contractors. Which is silly considering Pulte Homes is ultimately responsible and pays the sub-contractors. They have not been responsive to the 12 month warranty items. Customer Care Team (Mariah) does not respond to service requests. If you have any other option choose them. You will not get what you pay for from Pulte Homes and their customer service is atrocious.

Poor quality of construction and builder doesn’t respond for reported issues.

I am extremely sorry to write this review because it won’t be good. I waited - stalked - this location because it’s where I wanted to build my house. I was so excited to get in on the first release and to get my first choice on my lot. I drove by almost weekly when the house was being built. I was so excited to close on May 23, 2022! And that’s when the trouble began. There are so many issues with this house. And the warranty department is absolutely TERRIBLE! You cannot get ahold of anyone. Every call goes directly to voicemail and there is no point leaving a message because it will go unreturned. Texts are not responded to. Emails are not returned. They literally DO NOT CARE that you cannot take a bath in your new $650,000 brand new home because the cold water line is kinked. When a sun-contractor does show up to complete work, they are the wrong sub (it’s happened to me 3 times now) or they don’t show at all. And the work still sits there unfinished. They do not care that you moved in at the beginning of April with no oven or microwave because of the item being “back-ordered” and that you are being told it will be the end of JULY before you can actually cook in your new home. Any/all issues fall on DEAF EARS. You literally cannot get ahold of anyone. ... Más

Stay on top of your superintendent. They throw these houses up quickly and do NOT pay attention to quality. I had multiple walls that were not square and are still being fixed two months after we moved in. Once you sign and move in you are not a priority.
