The sales agent at Greystone doesn't do business with integrity. She manipulated numbers in a deceiving manner. If one doesn't look at the numbers closely during the contracting, chances of you being mislead is very high. The mortgage interest rates also was not honored until I say I have to withdraw. Not responsive to calls sometimes and the mortgage department (Noah the loan officer) will respond to calls only when he wants to. To sum up, the experience could be better and more transparent to buyers.

Overall review of the 'Pulte Experience'

The builder tries to be a one-stop-shop for all building/selling/financing/accomodation needs. There are some great additions and quality put into construction. Planning (especially electrical locations and accomodations) leave something to be required. The selling segment of the company was helpful initially but fell short when the company pushed to close on all units by 12/31/24 with less than 2 weeks notice. As a result work on punch lists were not (and still have not) been completed. Kudos to the escrow and mortgage people who performed at an A+ level. They were most helpful. Follow up ...

Pulte Mortgage could’ve been more transparent in getting best rate instead of waiting until the last minute leaving no room to lock the rate. Project Manager, Justin was awesome. He kept to his word and made sure we were comfortable with the quality. He continued to answer calls after closing.

You only find what you dig up. Mortgage experience was beyond awful. The only good thing was the incentives. Thank god my servicing has been transferred. Pulte Mortgage is AWFUL. After taking items apart for home improvement, boy the things I found had me disappointed. Overall, the home is in good shape, but it is a traditional home built in scale.

I have an issue with your responsiveness to issues. We have put multiple requests online to have someone come look at our garage door opener and not heard back. Nobody has called or returned emails. It’s poor form on your end and really is frustrating on a brand new home that we can’t even get a hold of someone.

Whatever you do, don’t use Pulte Mortgage. My loan advisor, who didn’t do any advising completely dropped the ball and I wasn’t able to lock into the terms that I signed up for. Brenden wasn’t apologetic nor helpful during any part of this process and neither was anyone else.

Worked fast but no attention to detail

This wasn't my first new build and the quality of subcontractors could definitely be improved. If it weren't for us checking in on weekly basis there would e been so many things missed such as structural work.

We had emailed a number of times through the building process, a number of concerns were assured and not fulfilled. Final walk through was horrible with damage, failures, and craftsmanship issues, throughout the house. After Final walk and keys were provided, PULTE representatives do not respond or stay it was not on the final walk through notes, "so sorry" or that "is normal." We are very disappointed in the builder and their representatives!

Quality is the biggest concern. From the building materials to the construction process itself, there are issues at every stage. Initially, I believed that Pulte was responsible for the end-to-end delivery with a strong focus on quality, but that’s clearly not the case. There are still numerous areas where things are falling short. Given the price I paid, I don’t believe it’s worth it. The overall experience doesn’t align with the expectations set at the time of purchase.

Overall my experience with construction quality and material for cabinets are not upto the mark. Within 3 weeks of moving cabinets moved from wall and created crack in backslash and countertop . There is wide gap due to this. Basement stairs have gap and not attached to wall. Wall paint is coming out with a light touch . Cabinets paint is coming out . We feel not confident even after spending huge amount for the Material quality. Feeling disappointed

Pulte only cares about quantity not quality. Our construction manager was absolutely horrible and come to find out he had no prior experience. Our homes quality is completely unacceptable and it was not even cleaned when we came home after closing. It has been problem after problem. While I will admit there were some that were very helpful including Taylor, Donna, and Gary, the remainder of the experience was very much a struggle and continues to be a struggle after moving in two months later. We were expecting a more seamless and by far a less frustrated home buying process. From a delayed start of construction date to a delayed closing due to a lower appraisal, we have to rank this process lower than our previous purchase years ago with another seller.

Two homes in one year with substandard quality

I built two Salerno model homes in 2024, closing on both within six months of each other. If I had known what the quality of workmanship would be, I would not have had Pulte build these two homes even though the location was spectacular. I could write a very long review with the problems but mainly I would have to say poor quality of subcontractors. Overpriced, poor workmanship and too much time to fix issues

The houses are overpriced for the quality of materials and workmanship. Every place in the house shows that the construction was rushed. Multiple things damaged which are getting fixed but it just generates a sense of frustration on why these were not addressed before closing - why not get things right in the first place. Issues pointed out by inspectors are often ignored. There is a blatant disregard for the house owners work schedule where some of the third party vendors show up at random times or just keep pushing schedules at will.
