My wife and I purchased 3 home from Pulte. The first was very well done so we bought two more. With each new purchase the quality, concern, customer service and follow up repairs increasing got worse. We are very disappointed!

Pretty bad experience including Pulte mortgage. Quality is pretty bad, cheapest materials, have to constantly monitor the process.

I loved my sales guy. The rest has been awful. I am looking into filing a lawsuit.

I chose this home because of its beautiful kitchen and lay out. In the beginning everything was going smoothly, There was turnover in staff (twice) that left me without a dedicated construction Manager. When it came to finishes, which I had paid dearly for, there is a lot to be desired. Some of the shotty items are, wall plates with pilot holes in wrong places, door edges(bottom)are rough , doors are very cheap. Paint is absolutely terrible, missing caulk in places rough edges on trim etc. I could go on and on but my overall experience was terrible except for my interaction with my original Sales Representative, who was wonderful. Extremely negligent when supervising their trades or workers. You buy a new home, to start fixing all the messes, mistakes, and wrongdoings for at least the first two months after you move in. It is outrageous...

There were many things, particularly in the yard where it was evident that attention to detail was not there

The workmanship is very rough, careless! Shocked and disappointed!

Have everything completed in your home before you close. Also, make sure your keys are available when you close. The quality of the house is not worth the money.

The Model Home looks great but the contractors did a sub par job in building the homes. Minimal attention to detail. I would not close until all these are completed and if you do get in writing a time frame that they will complete the items

The loan process was good but the building part was poor and rushed the amount of stuff that wasn't done and stuff still ain't done is ridiculous...never again and I been in the house almost 2 months

Our house was not built very well. Our ceilings look awful. The house is built cheap and the quality looks nothing like the model. The workers don’t show up when they’re supposed to make repairs and they don’t do a good job on the repairs. We have broken baseboards that no one has fixed our driveway concrete is sloppy and doesn’t look good. I would not recommend pulte to anyone

Would NEVER build with Pulte again.

Due to the poor quality of workmanship, the other measures also followed suit. A good neighborhood with nice sized lots and house plans. However, not good value for the cost of the home. We expected impeccable workmanship but were constantly disappointed even after repairs were done. You cannot rely on anyone doing their job effectively. You must always follow up behind everyone to ensure things are done correctly. Considering we have no clue about construction, it was very inconvenient not to mention aggrevating. Would not recommend them as a builder.

I'm truly baffled when I see 5-star reviews. Must be the Stockholm syndrome: Paid enormous amount of money for a shockingly poorly built house - what to do except celebrate! There not much else or recourse. Everything I'm stating below is also corroborated by all the neighbors I've spoken to regarding a common, shared building experience we've had. We love the "idea" of the house and the general design, and the great location. However, from beginning to end everything is built sloppily by contractors who openly despise the properties they are building. If they didn't despise the house they are building, why would they drop their trash into the a/c-heat registers? Leave cans and cig butts all over the house? Not protect the tubs and showers and toss nails and construction debris into them and scratching them? Why would they mix their cement on the unprotected floor? Why would they leave nails sticking an inch out of the drywall? Or install a cracked tile on the stove backsplash? (and leave it) Why would they destroy windows, doors with acid and not clean it up? (forcing replacement) Why would they drip paint on the screens on leave it like that? Why would they leave splintered doors in every room? Or leave gaps, scratches and chunks of wood splintered off your beautiful oak flooring? Why would they leave 1/2" of brick flashing overhanging all over the house? Nails all over the roof? Scratched and gouged window sills from the siders dragging their goods out thru the windows? A fallen telephone pole in the back yard? A driveway so badly done with such low standards and zero Pulte supervision that it has to be redone - but making us wait 3 months after move-in (preventing sod install and other brickwork)? Siding buckled so bad that passersby ask about it? Our list (and the lists of several neighbors we've met) is too long to lay out here. It's bad. Pulte has already cycled through (lost) three site construction supers just since we signed the papers. Why do they not ask themselves, "What are we doing wrong?" We've been in the house for ~6 weeks. The "list" we've provided on items not considered "warranty" but just not done right by the construction crew are now being referred to their warranty department by the new super. Builder charges >2500.00 USD to pain your home 1 wall color and 1 white ceiling paint. They use Sherwin Williams CHB paint on the walls including bathrooms. This paint does not wear well and is NOT recommended by Sherwin Williams as a durable wall paint. CHB was also used on the bathroom walls with no anti-microbial protection. If it gets wet it stains. Garage is not finished and assumed the buyer will spend another ~2K out of pocket to finish drywall and paint. A deadbolt lock is not included for the front door. Hardwood floor and stair railings are considerably marked up Carpets is low quality and has 5 year warranty Having insulation in a garage is an upgrade / additional charge. ~950.00 USD The stair rails are glued in place If you want lights above the shower and in some closets ... it is an upgrade. The design center is a gimmick to make up margin on home -- products are marked up >62% - 81% The builder doesn't leave the homeowner any additional tile/flooring/paint or touch up paint for cabinets. It is up to the homeowner to research contact each company to order. We moved into a Pulte new build condo and have so many issues and service is extremely slow (moved in durind COVID 19 SIP order). It took over a month and 4 appointments to get AC repaired. It works now but is incredibly loud. Decided to add ceiling fans so we don't have to live with the loud noise and found out none of the ceiling junction boxes were installed correctly so can't install anything until they are fixed. Master tub had lots of pitting leading to rust spots and now the tub takes over an hour to drain so we are showering in several inches of water. Garage door would stall while closing which was fixed but the noises have returned and anticipate it needed to be fixed again. Unless they see it as urgent, they don't respond quickly. If you are sensitive to noise, consider Pulte carefully as they are not sound insulated. From the bedroom, I can hear the dishwasher, AC, water heater, and booster fan in addition to noises from neighbors and all exterior doors. Pulte was a disappointing purchase. ... Más

Looks like my three year old caulked and painted the exterior. It was painted under 30 F and is peeling and cracked. It was noted during closing in April and still not fixed. Nail pops are expected but not to this degree.

Build Quality is not great. Especially dry wall. Sales person could have been supportive during option selection.

List of punchlist items that were to be completed between the final walkthrough and closing were not completed and remain incomplete three months later. Inconsistent communication with agent and construction manager. Last minute delays and confusion was common. Good service from title company. Numerous warranty items need attention but cannot be submitted as you are only allowed one opportunity to request warranty work on construction items.

My house had A LOT OF. Unfinished/ lose / scratch / parts the first day one of the towel hanger on the master bathroom come part and I was noticeable that the screws was loose and several other issues I highly doubt I will NOT purchase another home from Pulty .

WHEN THEY DO THINGS LIKE FRAME A WALL IN THE WRONG PLACE, YOU WILL BE TOLD IT IS "BUILT ACCORDING TO THE PLAN", EVEN THOUGH THE PLAN CLEARLY SHOWS IT IS NOT BUILT TO PLAN.

He encontrado muchas cosas mal desde que me mudé que hicieron que son simplemente deficientes. Los pisos tenían cortes para enchufes para los sillones reclinables eléctricos que tenía, los bordes de los pisos alrededor de los enchufes tenían grandes astillas. Cuando noté que durante el recorrido, lo único que hicieron fue tomar un marcador negro, las moscas son grises y colorea las astillas. Todo lo que tenía que pasar era que el piso tuviera que ser pegado con cinta cuando cortaron el piso para los enchufes, esto es piso 101. La pintura es tan barata que cuando utilicé una goma de borrar mágica para quitar una marca, la pinta se desliza hasta el tablero de la pared. La lechada fue mal elogiada y c on omg en las baldosas. El campo en el baño no tiene calafateo en los bordes y esquinas. Mano de obra muy pobre. También tenían opciones muy malas y mi lugar valoraba 4K menos de lo que me estaban cobrando y ni siquiera intentaron ajustar el precio. Nunca compraría otra casa Pulte. La experiencia de construcción fue excelente. Nuestro administrador del edificio fue excelente y se mantuvo en contacto constante. Los problemas comenzaron una vez que nos mudamos. Notamos una larga lista de problemas e intentamos solucionar los problemas pertinentes y esperar por el cosmético. El Gerente de Atención al Cliente es educado, pero es difícil obtener un seguimiento y cero resultados. Nos tomó más de 2 semanas ponernos en contacto con nuestro Gerente de Servicio al Cliente, quien nos informó que los problemas deberían haber sido manejados por el constructor y que tendríamos que esperar hasta los 11 meses para abordar la mayoría. Para mí, esto es un servicio al cliente inaceptable y deficiente. Hemos tenido nuestra casa durante 6 semanas y no tenemos cerraduras en la puerta del baño, alfombras con clavos que sobresalen, problemas de aire acondicionado y nuestro microondas se apagó en 5 semanas. La casa se ve hermosa pero se siente como si estuviera apurada. Tengo muchos problemas que aún no se han solucionado, mi ducha gotea agua y la pintura debe repararse por dentro y por fuera. El techo de mi garaje también debe arreglarse. Siento que mi casa se apresuró y ahora tengo todos estos problemas. Y la comunicación a lo largo de mi proceso de construcción con el administrador de mi sitio fue prácticamente inexistente. Nunca me dejó saber qué estaba pasando en mi casa. Siempre tenía que averiguar por mí mismo lo que estaba pasando. Así que mi experiencia general con la construcción de mi casa con Pulte no es muy buena. Amo mi casa y creo que se ve bien, pero tengo todos estos problemas y ninguno de ellos se solucionó y ahora tengo que esperar y ver si alguna vez se solucionarán. También me dijo el superintendente que va a arreglar que no terminaron, así que firmé el documento completo de casa, pero aún así no terminaron, incluso yo ya sigo adelante.
