I decided to sign an agreement with Pulte Homes to buy my new home after inspecting the home. I was fascinated by the offer of covering the closing cost which was said by the Sales consultant and I was informed i would only be paying the 5% down payment which was $19700. This was an exciting offer. The mortgage application came through and I was informed by pulte mortgage that I would be paying the closing cost which runs $5000+. We had a horrible experience after our home flooded because water bottle was left in plumbing. We had several other issues like bathroom glass missing, no water going to dishwasher. Pulte response was less than desired. They have horrible customer service and poor response time to issues encountered. Warranty manager never respond to phone call or text. Yet his number is listed as contact. Director of customer services was very rude, condescending, and unsympathetic to our situation which was all due to their negligence. Home was filthy when I received keys, cabinets were missing shelves, crown molding missing, paint all over garage and back patio. Paint in grout in bathroom. Numerous other attention to detail issues.

Pulte homebuilder made my life miserable during this transaction, put me and my wife through the WORSE experience EVER even having her in tears. Consumers need know their options, and are educated in Pulte's business and their tactics. Get an inspection during the home build process and final walkthrough! We had an horrible experience with the build of the home ESPECIALLY final walk through and the quality of drywall/stucco/paint work! Our final walk through was a disaster, we had the contact the construction manager to schedule the walk through, the house was not all ready!!! When we walked in there were vents not installed, bathroom fan hanging by the wires, finger prints on ceilings/walls, chunks on wood missing on cabinets, scratches in the kitchen sink, and various other issues!!!! Very unprofessional and low quality

Found fa bunch of issues during pre-purchase inspection. Though they promised to fix those, non of them were fixed, Only cosmetic work done and others were ignored, but provided wrong status to us. Same issues reported by other buyers in the community. Multiple issues noticed during move-in, submitted tickets. The agent promised to fix the issues during the purchase process, but not updates after that. No response to follow up. Prior to purchase, heard Pulte was a good builder, but now would not recommend to anyone after the experience.

We were shocked with the lack of integrity from the team at Sapphire Point. Andrew in sales gave us frequent updates and responded quickly to most of our communications. The rest of Pulte team either ignored us or didn’t care to make sure we were taken care of. The construction team just couldn’t figure it out. Used cheap materials & unprofessional job. Very disappointed with Pulte builder. Builder used cheap labor which benefited them only but the buyer had to suffer and comprise with final product being horrible. Everything seemed done with rush just to get it done. I have seen other builder new homes and I am very disappointed with Pulte builder for not putting their buyers satisfaction as Priority.

We had really bad experience with one of our stair selection. We opted for stairs on the upstairs and when the home was done built Pulte put in a drywall there instead. This was so heartbreaking and Pulte was never ready to get it fixed or provide compensation for us to hire some one outside to fix it

I would like to share my experience regarding the recent home purchase. While the cost of the home was nearly a million dollars, the quality of the construction is subpar. It is evident that the construction team lacked experience or was not adequately skilled to complete the project to a satisfactory level. So glad you asked. Where do I start? Home was in a FEMA flood zone. This was not disclosed at time of sale. Amy, salesperson, could not show me samples or pictures of the exterior siding or brick when asked. Closing credit was to be applied for flood insurance but this was not done. Flood insurance was not purchased by Pulte as indicated on closing documents. Issues with basic functions like heat and water. Issues with home are not being properly addressed. Absolutely not a great experience buying home with Pulte, they do not maintain the community after the closing. They do not respond on time, for warranty issues, have been trying to reach construction manager, their responsiveness is absolutely disastrous.

Delays and deceptive practices

Please do not buy from Pulte! We were delayed for months and their management is unresponsive and only had excuses for their mismanagement with the city. Quality of the home was horrible and took many attempts and request for them to fix anything. I still have things that still need to be fixed after a month of being in the house. Avoid this builder at all cost. Many other builders are out there that can provide better service and quality.

We’ve had major systems out to the house on several occasions for systems failures including plumbing,electrical,havc mechanical, flooring, etc, just an extremely poor job on site management and quality control. Pulte should review performance standards and hold responsible their management team’s performance, but apparently do not.

We were shown a model home that really impressed us and we were also looking at other properties from Pulte and liked the finishes and setup. Hence we decided to go with the purchase and the finishes we selected were more or less the same as we were shown in the model. The overall project was on-time and we did get regular updates from the site engineer / manager. The closing process went well. Within 60 days of moving in we had a kitchen cabinet fall apart. Opened a claim to have it repaired. Here we are 60 days later and no one has been out to fix the cabinet. Only emails and no show for the schedule repairs to be done. Dont purchase from PULTE HOMES.
