We have had many of issues from start to current. Plumbing lines switched, gas leaks, framing and many of issues. Take the bad reviews serious.

Well I have been constantly lied to by the Pulte team and they never return phone calls. The quality of the work is a joke and the Pulte quality video is total fiction and does not represent what I have seen and speaking to numerous neighbours they are all having similar issues. Simple issues become a total frustration in getting resolved. I am convinced that once the contract is signed no one at Pulte cares about me as the customer anymore. Items were changed after I selected because you changed vendors leaving me with no choice. I truly believe I will end up in a legal bahtle over the upgrades that are done incorrectly and Pulte is showing no interest in fixing. I know for a fact this will not be shared as quite frankly if I was a senior member of the Pulte team I would be embarrassed with this. But I also wonder if this is not the norm for your company and this is just a farce. I would love the opportunity to speak with someone in your company that actually cares and can make things happen. ... Más

I was forced to close without issues been taken care found before and during the celebration meeting. I was given letter of completion from Vice president of Pulte with the list of issues that will be completed by Aug 13th. Field manager stopped responding to calls/ emails right after giving me that letter and I am still running behind the customer care for getting my issues fixed. Had a very bad experience.

I would not recommend Pulte Home due to the lack of communications between departments.. Important issues were not solved prior to closing and had to close with no hot water and a filthy home.

We closed almost 2 months ago and we are still waiting on our refrigerator to be installed. We are currently using a temporary fridge.

From the outset, Pulte rushed the process. They rushed the closing of the house telling us “we need our numbers” and threatened to charge us more if we fell outside of their perimeters. We were unable to see the home at closing due to being overseas (again they had significantly altered the time frame a couple of weeks before closing). Upon seeing the house for the first time, the house and yard were filthy. A number of things like some of the shelves and the staircase were unfinished. The upgraded tile that we payed for looked as if an amateur had laid it after spending too much time with bottle of bourbon. Had so many issues with our home in Creekside Crossing Plainfield Illinois. Our sales experience was pretty lacking and it really relied on us to make the right decisions here which of course led to some gaps at the end (seemed like she never though we would buy, even after we put down our deposit). There were also quite a few options that were available but not on our options sheet which we missed out on (additional windows is an example). Designer was pretty helpful though we didn't run through all the options so we had to keep asking for things we were seeing on the wall and what could be done. Not sure if she didn't want to upsell us or if she was in a rush but in either case we had to be our own advocates here as well (also wasn't perfectly knowledgeable, told us we couldn't have 3 glass shower shelves in the bathroom because the height would be too high but we could have easily had one at 1', 3' and 5' since we have one at 3' and 5' and the tile is 2' long). Construction manager never sent us meeting notes from our pre-construction meeting so that led to a series of miscommunications making it all the way to the end of the build (which were refused to be corrected; ethernet located on the exterior instead of attic). Communication was pretty substandard and for every 4 emails we sent we would get back maybe 1 which wouldn't answer everything either (no regular updates either on progress until much later in the process). Found quite a few errors at our pre-drywall meeting and even more at our celebration which were options we selected and were never installed (humidifier, outlets outside/inside, ethernet port, conduit from attic to basement, etc.). There are also sooo many quality issues we have tickets for corrections for and they are still not completed 2 months after closing (we are even missing some sod in our backyard). Their contractors they recommend who worked on the home (who you have to use to maintain your warranty by the way) either won't respond, refused to do the work or come in double to triple other comparable vendors. Great example was the plumber, refused to work with us and provide an estimate for a water softener, their second recommendation (who would void our warranty) came in 2.5 times more than what a local water softening company came in to do the work for (and they provided me a life time warranty even instead of the 1 year with the plumber they said). Had to fix a siding issue (due to the mistake with the exterior ethernet) and their contractor told me he wouldn't work with me because I didn't speak Spanish. I told the construction managers and they said they would get me someone else but never did (who also would void my warranty...). Very disappointed with the whole process. Also, despite me ranking their surveys poorly and even listing my name/number in them I haven't heard anything from their corporate office. Just an awful experience. ... Más

I am absolutely amazed, astonished even, at how poor the quality of the subcontractors’ work was. Sloppy painting, stained carpet, broken windows, malfunctioning oven, upside down doors, etc.

Never again! Rushed cheap low quality

1. Vents making noise and pulte says they cant do anything. Cant sit in that room and do anything. 2. Bath flushs, and shower making so much noises that you hear on whole house. If someone goes bathroom in night, flush can wake others in different room. Bad Bad design 3. Staircases railing making noise, Windows put on wrong spots 4. After closing super bad customer service.

Our home buying experience was not the best, our loan officer was not much help with questions, our builder accidentally nicked a water line and created water damage all along our bottom main floor weeks before closing and did not disclose the information with us. They have not gone above and beyond to remedy the situation due to their lack of communication.

Not a great experience. There are too many issues with builder.

The quality of the house and the finishes were extremely bad, in addition to the numerous delays and the closing date it was postponed several times, causing a lot financial damage.

We’re forced to close on unfinished home with a promise that everything will be taken care. But was never finished. Initially kept sending people to fix stuff and then stopped responding and when asked for upper management. Sales agent said she is not going to give upper management contact. She said she is not authorized to give upper management contact. Project manager always kept making excuses and telling us that he is going to fix everything. House is graded so badly neighbors water running into out lot and staying wet all the time. Build 6 ft wall without telling us about it at pre-construction meeting. Project manager told us 2 weeks before closing that they will be building a wall with stairs access to the back yard but stairs were missing. After closing started denying saying that they are not going to build stairs. My 6 year old son fall from the wall yesterday. Luckily he was not hurt besides little scratches. There is no safety around the wall at all. I have tried contacting but no response and also wrote reviews on google Fb and other places. ... Más

Our experience with pulte mortgage was anything but pleasant. Our loan processor was always difficult to reach and constantly misplaced documents during the process. The last week of closing they were completely non existent and added much more stress to the process than was needed. Our loan processor would never reply back to our calls and emails.

Pulte homes are not very certain on closing date and rush on it, so as buyer didnt had proper celebration and worst experience and fixing up cosmetic and couple of damage within home. As a new homer we have lot of question and nothing was properly answer and field manager chnages no often with not at all update to what happen at site. I would not recommend for improper response with sales and field manager here. Unsatisfied and keep getting lots of very very delayed response.

Moved into incomplete home. Closed June 29 and no issues from closing have been resolved

Very bad experience buying my first house, there are already 4 repairs in less than 2 months, 2 water leaks, washing machine, and clogged drain, I want someone to contact me I no longer feel safe I want them to do a general inspection

Terrible, worst home we have ever built, terrible quality, over promise under deliver, just awful!

We did not have a great experience in buying this home as from the beginning we had issues with the Field Manager(not mentioning the name as requested).There has been times where we have pointed out many issues and it has been resolved after a lot of emails ( and arguments always happened not thru email but face to face) specially in the yard grading , water accumulation in front of the house in Caul-de -sac where mosquitos are breeding and not safe for the neighborhood(when we approached the customer care they mentioned that accumulation of water is because of Dandi bags .No dandi bag is there atall as all grass has been laid ,still there is water accumulation converted to slime), the AC vent does not cool the master bedroom. Apart from this anytime we bring issues to the Field Manager, instead of handling the situation he tells in front of other contractors working in the site that "we are putting words in the contactors mouth", he is "running out of explanation" etc etc. He talks in a very bad way and also regarding the grading issues in the backyard he said that even if we get it inspected from 3rd party contractor he will do nothing about it . Many of our friends have moved to Pulte because we always had great word but with personal experience we will never recommend it to anyone. The customer service from this company is non-existent. From the top to the bottom they do not value their customer’s experience in the slightest. We had multiple issues with our foundation and basement during the building process caused by the field manager, and had to contact him first about it. Then we had to demand certain things take place to ensure they did not try to cut corners. Communication on progress or about issues was never initiated by Pulte and it takes a minimum of 2-3 attempts at contact before a short response that often doesn’t even address your concerns or answer your questions. Close to closing our inspector (not anyone at Pulte) discovered a leak in the basement wall. We had to fight tooth and nail for that to be fixed, and fixed properly. On our celebration walk, our house wasn’t close to finished, our railings were the wrong color, and there was a leak in the basement. The field manager “guaranteed” it would all be taken care of by our closing. On the day of closing for our final walk through, our house still wasn’t near ready. We could not believe they would try to close on a house in this condition. The final paint was not done, the railings were still the wrong color, it was filthy, there was still a leak in the basement, and the sump pump stopped working causing the basement to fill with water. The only one who ever apologized was the sales person. The field manager would not even come up from the basement and has dodged us since. We also dealt with the VP of Sales, who was completely rude and clearly does not value the customer after the way he spoke to and about us, before he even had all of the information. I have nothing good to say about Pulte - they are currently building homes as fast as they can and cutting corners left and right. We closed on a house that was filthy with many issues that they promised to address as soon as we closed - joke was on us for not refusing to close and believing that they were telling us the truth. As soon as you close, they disappear. My advice? Run.

In the first week our house flooded because someone disconnected the drain in the wall by the laundry. We’ve had very little response or help to get the damage finished. From no show appointments to miscommunication. We still have sections of our house we can’t use.

Our home buying experience was one of the worst - this was my 6th new home purchase. It was horrible for a constellation of reasons. It started with the sales agent giving misinformation on more than one occasion, a sales manager who was spiteful when confronted with issues or challenges in her approach, a design center that appears to have the philosophy of “you will take what we want to give you” and not the “customer is right or valued philosophy. These two general issues caused a large amount of distress in the home buying experience - making it a day to day nightmare. Within this, the quality of the home is fairly low budget. Upgraded toilets are cheap, not non-handle water savers, white rubber plumbing fixtures are used, a low volt transformer for your door bell that won’t even accommodate the Nest Bell, low budget cabinet where you’re forced to spend over $10k to even start to get soft close hinges, texture spray on the wall is awful, low quality doors for the rooms, terrible splitting framing around the doors, a garage header frame that was built over and inch off so the front of the house looks crooked and on and on. Pulte has employed field managers who just talk you into how to accept the warranty issue instead of insisting on repair (a warranty issue takes 30 days to repair). The field manager also wanted us to move in without our refrigerator that we upgraded through Pulte. In short, I would never buy another Pulte home in this market and equate its product to a budget builder where it charges handsomely for the home and increase upgrade prices every month. I can say, I had to threaten to take legal action because of all the issues and the response I was getting from both the sales tram and the field manager. One employee, the construction manager stepped in and toon action and has been a very good job addressing the layers layers of issues with this home. ... Más
