To save you some reading; there was little to no communication throughout the process regarding delays, issues, or any other problem that may have held up the closing. The favorite phrase across the board is, "not my job," which still rings true with completing items on our "weather letter" 6 weeks later. In short, Pulte took what SHOULD have been an amazing event in our lives and genuinely ruined the experience, taking all joy out of moving in. We will NEVER recommend Pulte to ANYONE, even people we don't like.

Terrible attention to detail.

Quality workmanship is nowhere to be found in any phase of build. Contract for purchase was signed one year ago and still unfinished house (outside of house not painted, my guess is will never be caulked, yard is mud and rocks). Every phase of build appears to have been done by a blind two year old. House was just thrown together with attitude of just do it as cheaply as possible with as unskilled labor as is possible. This is my third Pulte Home and I the first I was able to choose my options and upgrades on so I thought it would be fun and exciting. Out first Pulte was a quality build and one previous buyers didn’t qualify for so we got a great bargain. The second was a no frills spec home and had a few issues, but Pulte took care of them. This house took 7 months longer to build than anticipated. Sloppy, dirty, incomplete work. Horrible attention to detail. I closed 2 months ago and there are still broken cabinets that need to be fixed and the microwave/oven combo is still MIA with no ETA. You have to beg for updates. Everything that I pointed out and placed blue tape on during the walk thru, either didn’t get done or I was told by Jose that nothing could be done about it. A collection full of lies, slander, insults to the personality and intelligence of the customer, I spent nearly a million dollars, my house lasted 24 months instead of 6 months , During this time, the Pulte managers in MN committed racial discrimination instead of apologizing. I will not recommend anyone to buy pulte house , it would be better if you buy small builder house and save your money. Pulte is very bad and they don’t build quality house. Provide wrong in while booking and hide things at contract time.

Our family has purchased five Pulte homes in the past few years. Pulte has changed. Their mortgage company will tell you they will work with you on pricing but then not match a competitive bid. Construction was a disappointment from start to finish. Sub contractors did poor work and not mutch follow up by supervision. Pulte insisted on closing on a home that was not finished and very dirty. I wouldn’t recommend buying a Pulte Home and I question a lot of the most recent 5 star reviews, because myself and all my neighbors around me have the same opinion. If Pulte Homes focused more on building quality over quantity, plus picking the right sub contractors instead of sub par contractors, they wouldn’t have so many issues. From day 1 it was poor craftsmanship and service. Literally not happy with any portion of this process. At this point I only view the structure (don't even feel comfortable calling it home) as an investment.

Pulte Sales misled me early on, costing me thousands of dollars. Low quality standards evidenced inside and outside of house. Contractors show no pride in their work, or interest in doing a good quality job. Pulte construction shows no interest in quality. They are incented to put the house up as fast as possible so Pulte can collect your money ASAP!!!

The entire experience was awful. The title company was awful, the y process was terrible and there was rarely communication, the warranty department doesn’t respond to my emails. Workers don’t show up when they’re supposed to. I had a better experience with Lennar and that’s saying a lot

I closed on my home at the end of Feb 2022, and I still have outstanding items that have not been completed. These were detected in January of 2022. Sad that Pulte rushes to sell home that are not complete and with such poor workmanship. Field managers are over worked and when fix is needed they resort to threats to the homeowner.

I signed my contract to build my house with Pulte on November 23, 2020. The building permit was granted on around March 2021 due to County backlog. But the house did not completed until 2/28/2022, almost a year later. What was really bothered me that my house build permit was granted 3 or 4 month before other houses in the block. But it did not get windows before other houses. I got the weekly update from the building manager stated that the widow order was delayed due to nation labor shortages. It has been the worst experience of purchasing a new home ever. Had to get an attorney involved when we were told we did not qualify. Then the workers were told do not fix anything because our home was going to be sold as is. The appliances look like they are second hand they are so bad. Custom cabinets look awful. The whole house was painted with some sort of flat paint (I believe it may be primer). As we were told they could not get paint. This has been a nightmare from day one. We are a young family moving to tampa from Orlando and were sold a house with an approximate closing date of 8/2021. We forgave many other better products because of this said closing date. Pulte off the back told us we were pushed back to 12/2021 and then later to 2/2022. It’s been very bad experience, in terms of communication and response. And new house has so many problems ,Including faulty equipment and it’s hard to get hold of people to get issues fixed. And closing has been delayed for months . And after waiting for Months and overpaying interests we still have to face issues like low water pressure and dishwasher, oven not working , electrical issues which cause inconvenience consistently in every day life.
