We did not have a great experience in buying this home as from the beginning we had issues with the Field Manager(not mentioning the name as requested).There has been times where we have pointed out many issues and it has been resolved after a lot of emails ( and arguments always happened not thru email but face to face) specially in the yard grading , water accumulation in front of the house in Caul-de -sac where mosquitos are breeding and not safe for the neighborhood(when we approached the customer care they mentioned that accumulation of water is because of Dandi bags .No dandi bag is ...

Horrible customer service

The customer service from this company is non-existent. From the top to the bottom they do not value their customer’s experience in the slightest. We had multiple issues with our foundation and basement during the building process caused by the field manager, and had to contact him first about it. Then we had to demand certain things take place to ensure they did not try to cut corners. Communication on progress or about issues was never initiated by Pulte and it takes a minimum of 2-3 attempts at contact before a short response that often doesn’t even address your concerns or answer your ...

I have nothing good to say about Pulte - they are currently building homes as fast as they can and cutting corners left and right. We closed on a house that was filthy with many issues that they promised to address as soon as we closed - joke was on us for not refusing to close and believing that they were telling us the truth. As soon as you close, they disappear. My advice? Run.

My house flooded in the first week and still isn’t fixed.

In the first week our house flooded because someone disconnected the drain in the wall by the laundry. We’ve had very little response or help to get the damage finished. From no show appointments to miscommunication. We still have sections of our house we can’t use.

Quantity over quality

It is my opinion that they are more focused on quantity over quality. The b/s they tell you up front about working with you on your build and they are focused on quality and craftsmanship and will work with you is just that b/s! Once you move in the service department is not quick to get your house fixed in a timely manor. I had a poor build and service experience as most of my neighbors had.

The poor workmanship performed by Pulte sub-contractors

Before closing, there was a laundry list of issues that were promised to be fixed after closing. Some were small, others pretty big. The more minor issues I fixed myself or the supervisor had resolved. Without being petty, I will say the overall workmanship was poor. The biggest issue I reported was visible seems on the ceiling. I wish i could give no stars but the review has to be submitted and so gave that one. The cheapest quality of home for the price paid and staff makes sure to give you enough pressure from the time dealing with sales agent to closing and beyond. Never again, can find such dreadful experience.

Overall the buying experience was not great. Right from the time of choosing the lot till the celebration walk there were lot of issues. The buyer is always treated with rude answers. First of all not enough time is given to decide on anything, no clear explanation is given about the land, floor plan and customization, being a first time buyer we struggled a lot by the way we were treated. I can’t even begin to explain the issues that I’ve had with my home. Pulte apparently uses day laborers that are unskilled to do work in the houses because the workmanship is horrible and there’s no accountability and apparently no one following up with anybody on the quality of work that is being produced. What a nightmare

Pulte does not supervise subcontractors and demand that work be done right the first time. Subcontractors do the bare minimum. They are supposed to clean up after themselves, but this is not enforced, so our lot and house were trashed repeatedly. There is no pride in workmanship.

We have gone through 5 different field managers, each one messing everything up along the way. Pulte did a horrible job with the drywall in multiple places. It looks like the home is 20 years old instead of a new build. Pulte damaged my floors and I had to argue for over a week to get them replaced. After temporarily moving out while they fixed the floors, I returned to find glue all over the floor and the floor had bulked up in the kitchen. It was also not level in other places. It’s been 3 weeks and they have still not come back to repair the floor. The steps were also damaged by Pulte and they still haven’t repaired those either. The list goes on and on. From the mortgage to still trying to get multiple poor quality and craftsmanship issues fixed, it’s been a nightmare. House should have never passed inspection with all the issues. The original “foreman” left to take another position so I guess he didn’t care. The new boss Don has inherited his problems and is trying his best. If this was custom built with conventional construction loans, they would never get the 20% hold “punch list” payment. No wonder Pulte does business this way.

This is the worst quality of the house that I have ever bought. There have been issues all over the house. For the first day we moved in (Friday), I used the master bath shower and turned on the water handle, the handle got popped out and strong water stream almost killed me. We have to turn off the main water control and could not live in the house over the weekend due to no water. Until next Monday, the plumber came to fix the problem. The reason for causing this issue was your plumber forgot to put in the pin to lock the water handle. What a big joke it is. Then many other issues came up ...
