Jim made the buying process very easy and responded quickly to our questions and requests. Alex was very thorough during the walk through and resolved any concerns. The house is beautiful and well made.

From Jim opening early on a Sunday morning to receiving the key at closing (and even beyond) this was an exceptional experience. The house, community and little extras are more than I had hoped for when beginning my home search.

In early August of this year my wife and I went scouting for neighborhoods to consider building our first "new" home in Virginia and stopped by Pendleton in Ruther Glen, VA due to its adjacency to a nice golf course. We met Jim L, sales professional, who was exceptional. Now this was a scouting visit, which six hours later turned into a purchase of our new home on the golf course. Jim kept us updated weekly with photos, texts, emails and recommendations of local businesses to support our needs. Al, our General Contractor, was great to work with, informative and down to earth. The whole process from start to finish was easy. Their mortage and down payment incentives was the cherry on the cake and was the easiest mortage process we have gone through, and this is our sixth home purchase. We are absolutely obsessed with our new home. our sales agent was Jim & he was the best. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our first time building a house!

Our overall experience was great. The property agent,Stephanie, was amazing to work with. She was always there with answers whenever I had questions and willing to help anyway she could. And when we had issues with the house itself Rich was right there to make sure the issue was fixed and to make sure we were satisfied and happy. The whole process was great. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy.

Everything was fine. We just have not heard anything yet about our issues needing attention.

My experience with Richmond American Homes has been generally okay. The home itself is solid, and the buying process went smoothly enough. However, the biggest challenge has been getting timely responses when issues come up. Once the sale was complete, communication slowed down noticeably, and it often took multiple follow ups to get answers or updates. I don’t expect everything to be perfect, but I do expect concerns to be acknowledged and addressed without long delays. The potential is there for a great experience, but the responsiveness after closing definitely needs improvement. If they can strengthen their customer support and follow through, the overall experience would be much better. ... Más

I would like other home buyers to know never to buy a Richmond American Home. If you are thinking of buying in the Pendleton community, don't! The project manager has every excuse for the poor work. Also, don't trust that they will come back in 30 days. Several of our neighbors never got a 30 day follow up.

Would not recommend to anyone
