I had a great experience with their Agent, Megan, on purchasing a new home from Richmond. She was very professional, resourceful and transparent throughout the entire buying process. The home is beautiful and reasonably priced for all the upgrades in the final price tag. When comparing all the Builders & amenities in the neighborhood, Richmond Homes definitely stuck out to be the better option, by far. No disappointments!

From the sales office to the superintendent, everybody was kind and helpful. Buying my new home was a key move in my life at this time allowing me to support family during my granddaughters extensive stay at Seattle Children's Hospital. We recently moved in to our new home. It's only been a little over a month, but we're generally pleased with the house and would only suggest a few changes. The buying and move-in processes were great and the supervisors have been awesome at addressing any minor fixes we've needed. Overall, the quality of materials and workmanship are pretty good. There's only a few things we've noticed that could be improved. The balusters along the stairs don't all sit flush on the bottom. The top floor (carpeted) already has several squeaky spots. There are no outlets on the kitchen island. Overall, though, we are pleased with our purchase and look forward to living in our home for a long time. ... Más

I bought my home and it could not have been a more amazing experience, Especially the people in the front office who helped me immensely especially Megan. I had to sell my previous home and they worked so hard around my schedule to get me into my new richmond home. I absolutely love. As always with anything there is a problem here or there, but the promptness to solve my issue was amazing and gave me a good feeling about the company as a whole. Thank you for helping me get into my dream neighborhood. :-)

We love the town that we are in and the neighborhood. Our sales rep was fantastic, as was the loan officer. However, we were pressured by “corporate” to move up our closing date to meet “their” quarterly sales goals…..which meant that the actual construction crews had to “rush” to finish our home. You can tell by the finish work and attention to detail. (Paint quality is terrible, caulking on countertops is sloppy, contouring of front yard is shoddy, drywall and texture around bathroom light fixtures was sloppy, it was obvious that everything noted issue on the walkthrough was “rushed” to make closing happen….and after talking with other neighbors, I doubt they will be corrected at the one year walk through. We were told of their experience with Richmond, “ that once they sell you your home, good luck getting any response from them…..”We’ll see, I have faith that we will….. ... Más

We just purchased a house about a month ago, well, there were some issues and delays on documentation but all were justifiable. But so far we are loving the place. The house is beautiful kids love it.

Straightforward experience. We utilized the broker from Richmond American. It was a very big purchase and I'm disappointed there was no real home warming gift besides a keychain. The house when we toured it was basically finished and the builders prioritized other homes to put up. While sitting there were multiple things in the house they had to come back to finish such as handles on the cabinet.

It’s was a good experience. Few minor issues that have been taken care of.

Walked through the model home and inquired about options, minor changes and or possible upgrades. I was informed that upgrades / changes were no longer available. So I verbally confirmed that the model home that we were observing was the home that we would be purchasing. Upon our walk through I identified that we were missing 2 electrical outlets in the pantry and master bedroom. I was informed by the general contractor that we should have those plugs. I was later informed that it was not on the electrical plans. I spoke with a number of representatives in finding a resolution in getting what I paid for to match what I looked at for purchase. I was informed that buried in that 76 page contract was a clause that declares that it didn’t matter what the model home looked like, it did not have to include the same basic features. I explained that it was misleading to show basic home features that you would believe to be part of the structure to then find out that none of what you looked at was a guarantee. I offered to provide the materials to have 2 plugs installed. It was denied. What could have taken an hour of labor to resolve was not worth it to Richmond Homes. I was further informed that if I had it done on my own then that would nullify the electrical warranty on the home. It was also identified on both walk through’s that we had standing water in and around the home. We were informed on both walk through’s that this would be addressed. We also discovered that the master bedroom door would not latch as it was improperly aligned along with a couple of other minor things. Richmond homes stated that these items would be taken care of and addressed. It is now almost a month into the home and they have not been fixed. I have attempted to call the vice president directly using the phone number on the email. Nobody answers and the voice message says that nobody is available to answer and try back later. The voicemail does not even have a message that identifies the number of Richmond Homes. I like my home overall and it was sad that these items could of been taken care of with very little expense. Richmond Homes only cares about stuffing a couple hundred of extra dollars into its pocket instead of customer satisfaction. Unfortunately customer service does not exist with Richmond Homes. ... Más
