The Sales team at The Reserves Lone Mountain was always helpful, responsive and made the process less stressful. Overall I give the sales Team 5 stars. Everyone was always helpful and sincerely cared for my concerns. The only thing that is stressful is that non of the other departments that handle everything after closing do not focus on client satisfaction to level sales did. Don’t get me wrong I do believe in the Shea Homes Product.No home is perfect after completion. But I feel like there should be more organization and communication between Trades and builder during repairs done after closing. And this critique is not aimed at anyone in the warrenty department. I understand and am aware they have to follow Shea’s policy. They need to make a system that allows trades to know what needs to be fixed or replaced prior to visit. And trades should take up their issues with builder not the customer when shea sends them for repairs. As it is stressful and feels like a full time job for 1 year warranty process of fixing everything. As someone who has built more than one home. My advice to Shea for my overall critique. FOCUS ON HOW YOU can make the client experience better for repairs. Implement a check system like Camelot prior to closing of repairs important to the customer. Focus more on the clients concerns prior then after closing. This will lead to SHEA enhancing its client satisfaction. As I stated above as someone who has built many homes with a number of different builders. If Shea Corporate! implemented some new things for their employees for the system of repairs prior and after. I truly believe the brand and product would be near or better then competing builders around the valley if they refocused this one aspect seeing is that the product itself is great. But wear and Tear items done during building need to be solved before closing. As it ads overwhelmingly to the one year warranty experience as stated above. I am aware nothing is perfect. But I believe there is always room for improvement. I do recommend the product but I recommend that any items damaged before close be resolved or have a solution communicated prior as well. If that small possible improvement in the system was achieved, I do feel like I’d be able to give a full 5 star review rather then 3. I truly believe that if Shea implemented the improvements I stated above it would lead to even a greater success as a brand. Shea Homes if you Read this ! Out of all your competitors I’ve worked with on new home projects! You currently take 2nd place but you easily could be first if you implemented new policy and procedure that allowed people to move in to their house with there items of concern fixed. And yes it can be done. As I have had a happier experience with Camelot in my post close experience. Your next question why didn’t you build with Camelot again then ? Because I did not like the location of any of the new community locations. They were either where god lost his shoes or in a neighborhood that did not yet feel improved or safe. Back to Shea. The house quality is very good. But the price is too high.

Shea representatives were professional and the community is very attractive. The buying process was straight forward and structured in such a way that the number of decisions was minimized. Once under construction, the project manager was responsive to my questions and the quality control rep was very thorough in her explanation of all the features of my new home. Overall, my experience was excellent.

We love the area. The ancient and modern description fits this area perfectly. Our views are priceless. Tony, Gina, Todd and Scott helped us whenever we needed it. Great people! Great homes! Blessed to be a part of it all! Thank you! 10/10 review!

Overall quality is very good. Final exterior paint splattered and dripped on concrete. I'll try to power wash... Concrete cleanup could be much better. Very happy with Shea Mortgage!!!

Loved working with Josephine and Alex in the sales office. Same with Angel with the construction team. And Gabriel on the Home Warranty team. Everyone has been great. Friendly, honest and empower the homeowner with information and knowledge. This is my third home purchase and definitely the best experience 100%. Would highly recommend Shea Homes to anybody looking for a home.

Our overall home purchase experience with Shea Homes Encanterra at Queen Creek was excellent! Amber did an outstanding job from the beginning of our engagement with Encanterra Queen Creek, during the process, all the way to our escrow closing. The Design Team did a very thorough job of presenting the options for our home. Our Project Manager, Antonio, did a professional and thorough explanation during our construction progress visits. The escrow closing team was thorough, timely, and a great no-surprises experience. We closed on time. There were several minor maintenance issues with our home, but Matt has been extremely responsive. The issues were addressed right away without any problems. Overall, a wonderful experience! Great home and lot choices

Both Miriam and Tamara were very helpful in giving me any information I needed.

What stands out the most about our home buying experience with Shea has been great people and fabulous, easy communication. This started with the realtor for the community, Berry Staub, who is kind and professional, always follows through, and has become a friend along the journey. Good communication continued throughout the build process as we worked with Wyatt and Kaleb - our project managers. This included emails detailing what stage of the build process we were in and also text communication from the PM's that included pictures of completed projects. They were both easy to talk to and discuss questions, concerns or just review the process with us; Issues were promptly addressed. At close, we were introduced to the warranty team who thoroughly reviewed how the warranty works, what is covered and what is not, how to register our appliances, and how to report issues, if any, All technology was also thoroughly explained by the Foresight team at a White Glove appointment. There were some unforeseen delays due to some design center choices that were discontinued, delayed, and/or arrived damaged, leading to 3 new design center choices being necessary many months into the build. As these weren't specifically Shea 'errors', yet were more related to stock and availability of items chosen, it is difficult to say that it was a Shea problem. What we would have appreciated being different: 1. An online catalogue of Design Center options that we could review prior to our one-time, 4-hour design center appointment. We were expected to quickly make ALL option choices for our home that were not considered structural (ie: cabinet color/design, flooring, handles, etc.) in this single appointment. This led to many back and forth emails with design and the process ended up taking over 6-weeks to complete the choices and to know precisely what the cost of our home would be. Having a second appointment with the designer -or- having the opportunity to review the choices before the appointment would likely have mitigated this long, drawn out process. As we were responsible to pay for the upgrades chosen at time of design center options being chosen, we expected that Shea would be purchasing these items for our home at that time. This is not the process, though. Items selected were purchased just before the build team would need to install them. 2. Some final details that needed touch-ups prior to close were not completed by our initial close date. In fact, it has been two months since we closed and one of the requested fixes is still incomplete. Although our warranty team and project manager are aware of the issue, the problem still exists. What could have/still could be done differently: follow-up with trades and customer to ensure requested work has been completed. Overall, would we buy from Shea again. Absolutely YES! very responsive to appointment requests.

This is are second home with Shea and their quality hasn’t changed. They offer great quality but to me, the best part, is the quality of service. I would always consider buying from them and recommending them to anyone I know.

Smart home features and operation can be overwhelming particularly for non-tech oriented people. Be prepared for steep learning curve on some things.

Solid well built house. With options we selected, love the finish out. Melba (sales) and Mike (project manager) have been very helpful and responsive. We've been in 2 months and looks all warranty issues are being addressed promptly. My only complaint is the price you charge for some of the upgrades, Example - we were quoted $2,300 to put in an EV outlet. I have a quote for $400 by a 3rd party electrician. Another example - we paid $7,000 for back yard landscaping Ended up with a few rocks, drip irrigation, and a half dozen small plants scattered around haphazardly. That's a joke. Now paying an additional fee to have the whole thing redone. Please tell future customers to just do it on their own and get something of value for 7K instead of the garbage Shea put in the ground. ... Más

Love our new home is Trilogy Sunstone. Shea Homes staff is wonderful to work with. They are friendly and are quick to respond to any issues/concerns. Building our home was a wonderful experience.

We really enjoyed working with Alex and Josephine from a sales perspective, they were great! Gabriel from a post sales quality control perspective was great too! The craftsmanship was good overall but had some areas where corners were cut.

Customer service is supreme, caring, considerate, punctual, with amazing follow up! Sales team was very responsive and helpful!

The sales team and the lead construction guys were very helpful and accommodating when discussing and showing us the progress of our home build. There is a lot to learn about the new smart house and the team is continually helping us learn the nuances.
