The whole process with Shea Homes has been great! Moving in went very smooth and the whole team has been awesome. The couple of items that didn’t get completed prior to move in have been difficult to get scheduled and had a minor miscommunication but outside of that Shea builds an amazing product. Amy and team definitely created an experience like no one else and we highly recommend purchasing a new home with Shea!

Chuck, Peyton and Ron have been excellence with my home buying experience and even with the follow up after I moved into my home. I’m enjoying my home. Thanks Shea!

Although our experience with Shea Builders has been, for the most part, very positive, there are some issues that still require attention. For example: We were promised that the exterior paint problems would be addressed prior to closing. Two months, the area outside our front door remains unpainted, although it has been scheduled on at least three different times. I don’t understand why the painter has been unresponsive. Ryan has certainly gone out of his way to get this done! Shea needs to pay more attention to the quality of work that some of the subcontractors are performing. Cabinet doors still do not work or fit properly, even though an Oak Craft person has been here to correct the problems. Interior doors don’t close properly, not because of settling or expansion, but due to hinges or plates not being installed properly. Finally, our range hood vent cover is sitting in boxes in our garage, uninstalled, because the installers didn’t know what to do when they came to install it (twice). Items being on back order is one thing. Not being able to install them when they arrive is another. Ryan has scheduled a date in September to get most of the work completed, and I commend him for his responsiveness!! ... Más

I would have given 5 stars for all of the above, but two things need to be improved: 1) The warranty specialist is too busy. He does not respond to requests in a timely manner. Even the appointments for urgent things are two weeks out (or more). 2) It appears that Shea Homes contracted some other company to do the tiles and then seal the tile grout. That company either forgot to seal the grout or didn't do a good job. We have grout coming out even with a sponge and water. The good part is that Shea Homes is responding, but still no resolution after 2 weeks+

Customer Service Rep was very responsive to schedule. However, arranging sub-contractors for corrections was not timely. Memberships orientation at our club was impossible to schedule. Under staffing issues lack the ability to work better hours to service new members.

We love our Shea home. We had some issues that took time to get addressed but eventually were worked out. I feel some of the problems might have been due to rushing the job and not paying attention to the small details

Overall, very happy with the home buying experience with Shea. Josephine was amazing, extremely helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. The rest of the team, from the construction to the design team were very knowledgeable and helpful. Gavin has also been very responsive and timely with all of the warranty follow ups.

The homes are lovely and clearly designed with seniors in mind. There is plenty of storage in the kitchen. Every lower cabinet has pull-out trays and all drawers are soft-close. The floor plans are well thought-out. Our only complaint is that there has been no follow-through on some of the items that had to be addressed after close of escrow. The biggest one involved our kitchen island. There are prominent buff marks along the edges where some of the workmen put down their tools and scratched the surface. Someone went in to buff out the scratches, but those buff marks are numerous and prominent. Other than people taking photos of the damage, nothing has been done to fix it. ... Más

This was truly a fun experience getting to know the builders and designers of Shea Homes. Everyone was so friendly and quick to respond to a concern.

Shea Homes is a fantastic builder and creates high quality homes. The contracted workers who assist with the builds are not always the most mindful of their work, but Shea’s team is quick to make sure mistakes are addressed and fixed immediately. I do recommend hiring your own inspector (with any new build) to help find any errors.

Regardless of the issue or where we were in the process, we always had great support and our issues were resolved quickly.

Other than having to complete too many surveys on my experience, everything was fine.

This was our first experience having a home built for us. The process went surprisedly smooth with just a few minor adjustments. We can’t say enough about the Shea Team….Steve (Sales) who kept us in the loop and made the perfect Lot suggestion. Chris (Build Supervisor) answered all our questions and ensured every detail was handled. Jodie (Warranty Specialist) for being so thorough and timely with the warranty work. Most of all, the whole Shea team was friendly, approachable and made this ‘Big Step’ a little less scary! We love our beautiful home and Tehaleh is gorgeous!

The buying experience, contacts, information sharing with Shea is excellent. Shannon has always “been in our corner”, helpful and informative. We were kept advised of construction issues, date changes, deadlines, reviews and closing dates. The only minor issue has been the of minor punch list items which have been lagging in completion. We would have no issues or hesitation of dealing and buying another Shea home. Very happy.

This is our second Shea home and overall it has been a great experience. I only gave 4 stars on price because prices everywhere have skyrocketed and 4 stars on quality because of one fairly significant issue involving location of grab bars in showers The Warranty service has been excellent in every regard. David is professional and very responsive and a credit to your company

I am extremely pleased with my purchase of a Shea home in Trilogy Verde River. The purchase experience with sales rep (Liz) was excellent - she found a more desirable lot during the purchase; the design center representative (Janelle) was meticulous in specifying all the many selections; the mortgage rep (Spencer) was continuously on top of the transaction; the warranty rep (Steve) was -is- quickly responding to any request I may have. I greatly appreciate the following about my Homebuying experience with Shea Homes : - The transparent process of every step through out the construction of Home. - All the associates involved were very helpful at every stage and very willing to help anytime. - All the Home Appliances and the Home construction Products are very up to standards per the market. - One year warranty period which comes with the Newly constructed Homes. - The timely delivery of the Home on the promised Date, which is very unbeatable in the day and time we live in, where every product is either in shortage or delayed in delivery. ... Buying experience with the Sales staff was great. Post-closing not as good. I found a box of nails on my roof two months after closing. 30-day review did not go smoothly. Multiple trades for touch-up issues were scheduled without letting us know. Also, our backyard gate/fence was installed the wrong way and, 9 weeks after closing, it still has not been remedied. Multiple issues with post-closing items still remain pending.

A very long process, but you were always in the loop every step of the way. This certainly made the experience worthwhile.

The overall Shay home experience has been exceptionally from start to finish the process was seamless and after purchase the introduction to our home and some of his features was a wonderful experience
