I have a very serious issue with my flooring and two times. I have been home from 8 to 12 waiting for them with no phone call and no notice that they are not showing. Not pleased at all with this kind of service.

Number of small details are missed. Over all a solid house but they are no longer as premium as they used to be. They have cut cost considerably and there finishes are not as they used to be.

Longer close for cash purchase than necessary

The overall buying experience with SHEA was good, and the personel were very accommodating. However the quality of materials and workmanship need much improvement. Materials are appearing to be very cheap quality, and rushed installation, leaving gaps and crooked seams of many features. Dripping sounds of hot water lines, that I'm told are normal, should not be normal.

Beautiful community, beautiful homes, friendly people. Construction workers are messy. They leave trash everywhere, and it gets everywhere. Reporting it does not help, nor change anything.

Quality of work could've been a bit better. The interior paint seemed to be very cheap. Need more pickle ball courts and tennis courts as the community continues to grow

Laura is a rockstar! Love her! She made everything worth it! Eric did great job! Neil has also been great to work with! Stephanie...not a fan! She is horrible! We flew all the way there to work on Design and she was only willing to come in one day because she wasn't willing to come in the second day because she didn't want to put her make up on and get dressed and show up for us as we had showed up for her!! She worked with us a little bit more on the design process! I wasn't already in the middle of buying process. I would've walked out and went somewhere else because of her!

OVERALL THE PROCESS FROM SALES TO COMPLETION WAS PRETTY GOOD.

it is a good house at this price in this time. quality materials and constructions. i will recommend my friends and family if they are looking for a house.

Great customer service by Josephine Hasting & Jibron aka Joey the construction guy was very informative & patient with going over the details of the new home With us. Ricky was a very pushy guy who didn’t let me note any minor issues in the house, as he says “everything can’t be perfect “. There is a lack of response to house issues as we’re still waiting for our floors issues to be fixed, but we love our new home. Love the community get togethers to meet our new neighbors and the quick development of our neighborhood/community. Glad to part of the Shea community.

I think there prices were a little high and would have liked to have had more options available but there promise of resort style living is a great selling feature for the 55+ buyers.

We love the community and the people. We love our house.

Not very flexible with desired changes

Solar panel connections were the night mare. Solar Power company is not responsive and very difficult to reach. Thanks to Ryan the tech, he fixed everything. My power grid was pressure washed and of course full of dust and also rust can you imagine in a brand new home your power grid is like that. Night mare.

Will has been a delight to work with!

There are obvious problems with doors, windows, water pipes, refrigerators, and walls, and the emergency response speed is very slow.

Our positive part of this experience has been with the sales team, especially Anjuli and the building manager, Ryan. The negative portion of the experience is simply the quality of home and craftsmanship which is subpar. This is from framing and exterior wall studs between 16" to 24". Closer to 24" than 16", but never uniform. The backplash tile was redone, cabinets not level, mud on can lights, painting trim redone, exterior painting redone, very cheap linoleum that tore quite easily in the laundry room, an air bubble in the LVP, the island counter was not square and the dining room wall was not square. Shea has fixed nearly all of the defects. We have had to spend lots of additional money to fix shortcomings and just make the home look like it has a higher quality to it. ... Más

Responsive to concerns Not solved the larger concern Working on it

Over all my experience was pretty good. The home looks very nice, and most everything is in place. Some expected issues with a new construction are fine, but there are some more than I would have expected for the price paid, and some of the issues I pointed out were ignored, denied, or called normal when they should have been taken care of. Otherwise, quick to respond and set up trade calls, but it often takes a long time to get the trades to show up.

Staff was very friendly, but sometimes did not come through with requests. East to contact but not always responsive. If I needed an immediate response I had to go through my sales person even though I was told by project manage I could contact him.

All through the buying process, everything was a smooth transition. There are few issues after moving to the home related to USPS address issue and HOA. Both of them are pathetic and builder is not able to help us.

First, I would like to focus on the positive aspects of our experience. There are three people who have contributed to making this experience a success. They are Ryan, Kara and Lala. Each has contributed in their own way to help promote a collaborative effort to realize the completion of our home. Our first contact with Shea was Kara. From the start, she was professional, personable and had a great sense of humor. She was tolerant of our many questions, requests and complaints. Her graceful approach helped smooth things out that led to the creation of our home and hopefully a continued relationship. Ryan was with us the most. His generosity and gentle demeanor walked us through the different stages of the building process. He was challenged on many occasions by some of the vendors and then had to work with us to explain why things were not going as planned. There were challenging times, but he stuck with us, much to his credit. Lastly, LaLa has provided us with the follow up of warranty work, questions on how things work or don’t and kindness and humor when dealing with vendors who don’t show up for a service call. LaLa, like Ryan, goes above and beyond to provide us with the information and help we have needed to get this house off to a good start. On more than one occasion, she has made time for us outside of her schedule to help us. She is always positive and a delight to be with. There were a few issues that I would like to bring to your attention. During our buying and building experience, design changes were made but not communicated to us until after the fact. This required time and effort to develop a new design plan and to resolve ourselves that what we thought we could have was not possible. The other change that I would request is that you give your team the authority to make decisions based on their expertise and experience. For example, we have a scratch in one of our windows. An appointment was made for the vendor to address this. We waited an entire day for this gentleman to come out and say “Yes, it’s scratched and should be replaced “. This is a huge waste of our time to sit at home the entire day only to have the vendor confirm what Lala had already determined as a defect. It would save time and money and frustration for your homeowners not to have to go through an inefficient process such as this. Without the help, kindness and support of Kara, Ryan and Lala I would not have bought or continued with building this home. ... Más

The quality of Shea homes is amazing. Feel like I had to always reach out for communication. Follow up on services requests are slow and because my concerns were minor, I felt like I was often dismissed. When we purchased our home I requested a specific lot but was told they couldn’t go out of order and I had to choose from the lots they stated. After we signed our contract, market changed and low and behold they are not going in order and the lot I requested was built immediately.
